I like it, it's creative and plays well. I don't think it's ugly, at least for 48h. Don't be so hard on yourself...

This is fun! Kind of like reverse Jenga. The constraint on placement in the grid really makes you think a bit. Definitely could be a lot of fun to play with a friend.
That's a really cool concept :) Just had a go with my daughter and she really enjoyed it too. We both started out just placing square blocks in a hope that we wouldn't lose... then we both started going on the offensive! >:D
Quite nice. Haven't seen this kind of take on tetris/falling tower before.
I actually had quite a bit of fun with this, seeing which shapes would support each other and trying to get a tall stack. The only ugly thing about the game to me was the text, which would be an easy fix.
I'd like to see this developed more, as I think it has the potential to be a fun two player game - something we don't get much of on LD. Well done! :)
I like the idea. It's like some kind of inverted jenga-tetris. Good job!
Thanks for the comments. What annoys me at most on my game is that the player have to wait until the program "knows" that the tower will not fall. That's frustrating sometimes, but I totally overlooked the possibility that I can "look into the future" with the physics engine. So this waiting forever could be reduced to zero.
nice gameconcept, had fun playing this with a friend for a while
It's okay, kinda fun and not a bad game
Great! I only played it one player but it is entertaining. At first I thought it was ugly but when I realized there was physics it won me over. Great little game, I love the safety ledge and keeps it different from Jenga. Good work!
Only bug I saw was sometimes pieces would wobble for a long time and not advance the game until it was done. (Just read the other comments and it has been addressed)
Thanks. Yes, I addressed this myself. My solution was to stop the simulation after 30 seconds (I think), but that's not a good solution. :)
great mechanics. the game promises a lot of fun. I'll go look for the second player..
This is a solid two person game! I got competitive lol.
Nice game idea, will have to come back to this game later to play with a friend!
I really like the Game its a nice idea and physics :) Its a hard game too what I think is nice :)
Great job!!!
Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Made me smile. Would have liked a better restart than f5 ;) Player 2's a grandma
Lazy wins ! :)
Pretty unique idea. Liked it.
Simple and very fun multiplayer game. I like it, very well done.
this is a really great idea and i did not think it was ugly - great game
Love the mechanic! Great game.
Nice entry, more challenging tower shapes would have made this even more enjoyable I think.
Great and simple idea.
Nice entry, love the fact it's a 2 player game, me and my wife tried it and had fun :) Nice entry. Please have a look at my entry, too.
I didn't have anyone else to play with, but I had a good time trying to build towers so they wouldn't fall over!
One thing I noticed was that if you build for long enough, it's possible to make it so the other player can't place blocks at all, and the game doesn't seem to recognise this state. Of course, there's always the reset button, so that's not too much trouble!
Yes. I was too lazy to implement that. I rather drank beer with my friends. :)
I would like to test with another player, but for what I saw playing it all by myself, I think there is fun to get here. :)
Interesting take on Tetris. Would be fun if I had a player 2. nice physics as well. good job!
