How do you buy furniture? Clicking on TABLE in didn't reply with anything. Nice art.

banestar007 2014-12-08 05:02

Love the style, but -1 theme, things coming into the game screen, not 'in' one screen.

oldpeculier 2014-12-08 05:02

I couldn't start the game. Such a pity. Looks very cool from the outside though.

shyupuff 2014-12-08 05:03

Nice builder styled game! I kind of wish there was more to do and a little bit more fast paced, but overall I enjoyed it (:

deathray 2014-12-08 05:04

To buy furniture, you'll need 1000 coins. Click on yourself (the guy wearing the crown), then choose "Buy Furniture" then choose one. It will be randomly placed. Sorry.

Unique idea. Movement is a bit iffy, and the graphics could use some 'unification'(In other words, make everything pixelly, not just the objects and characters)

salmonmoose 2014-12-08 05:09

Love the art style - would like to see how far this idea could be pushed, I'd love to run a tavern.

victorafael 2014-12-08 05:09

Man! Those big bearded bad boys really love my biscuits! :) Congratulations by the good game!

nuclearnapalm 2014-12-08 05:28

Nice art style! I didn't get how to manage furniture, only cooking. But still it looks nice :) Good job!

Like the idea and graphics. This could be a interesting game if it was developed/polished more.

raincole 2014-12-08 17:06

Props to pure javascript.
Don't know what the table does?

andrea 2014-12-08 17:18

Good job! Not many thing to do but it could get very interesting! I'm sending you a screenshot over Twitter!

mrexcessive 2014-12-09 12:42

Hi there. Like the look, found the gameplay a bit slow... made a bunch of food, nothing much happened after that.

allurious 2014-12-09 15:32

Movement was a bit difficult, but this was a hugely ambitious concept to do for a 48 hour jam and I think you're on a really good track with the game.

sestren 2014-12-10 12:32

The sprites are nice, and the music, though simple, is pleasant. I do wish there was a way to speed the progress of the game up a bit, though.

ondrejbalas 2014-12-11 05:28

Very nice graphics, and fun idea for the game. I really like these types of games and I think this has a lot of potential.

deathray 2014-12-11 05:36

Thanks for the nice comments. If you're interested in further development, follow me (deathraygames) on Twitter or Tumblr. If I know people will play, I'll keep at it. I already made a few more fixes to the post-compo version to address the slow movement.

pinpickle 2014-12-11 05:55

Compo version is throwing an error "Could not initialise RocketBoots" in the console.
Tried the post-compo version and it looks really nice.

I like the concept! A fun take on cooking games. I definitely felt a lack of feedback though. Visualizing the cooking progress, dwarves getting hungry/full, etc. might help make it feel like a bustling hall that you're managing. Great job!

pjimmy 2014-12-13 14:55

interesting concept, the characters are drawn nicely, nice effort

superdisk 2014-12-15 01:06

The graphics were good, but the gameplay was rather nebulous. It was pretty neat, though one real annoyance was that you couldn't switch walking path mid-movement. Otherwise, cool.
