Hahaha the game of being a trolling god (sending disasters :-). Nice one!

Jeremias 2012-08-27 14:23

You should give more feedback what is going on and more possibilities to affect it (beyond disasters and textboxes). I have no idea what the graphics (like the tent) are for and what the religion is used for. Gratulations to finish your game :)

huchickut 2012-08-27 14:28

Really fun to watch! Small suggestion: Arrow Keys shouldn't close text messages. I always miss what's going on because I was looking around the map.

ponte 2012-08-27 14:44

Not much of a game there but i like it.

spectrenectar 2012-08-27 14:59

Many quite good ideas in this one.
I could have wished for mouse control of some sort...

dalbinblue 2012-08-27 15:17

Interesting to watch. I like the idea of being able to use disaster to control a tribe, but unfortunately all that it seemed to do was kill of units and slow progression down.

gareth001 2012-08-27 21:49

That is a really amazing, innovative game that has everything to do with evolution!

mamick 2012-08-27 22:36

Great idea! I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing and there wasn't much gameplay, but pretty fun anyway.

geekygenius 2012-08-27 23:26

"The red tribe found out anatomy is a good weapon"?

imef 2012-08-27 23:38

oh, Haven't fixed that >.<

jwolf 2012-08-27 23:38

Not bad! It could use more ways of interacting with the game, but it's a pretty good start.

materie 2012-08-28 00:00

Unable to download the game: "Invalid or deleted file" at Mediafire.

imef 2012-08-28 01:30

It's normal. I was changing the game file.

zoomyzoom 2012-08-28 13:48

Muhahahahahahahaha!!!

rialgar 2012-08-28 16:39

woman vote comes after comunism, I don't know why, but to me, this is a comedy game.
My braindump of ideas for improvements:
More feedback on what is happening, maybe inducing suggestions to people as an interaction technique. Impact of the events to the setting. E.g.: Inventing the wheel should make people faster. Make the tribes expand and enlarge the map.

imef 2012-08-28 16:41

That's what I wanted to do but didn't have enough time. I think I'll try to make a post compo including that.

raroadkill 2012-08-28 17:42

I liked it, I wished the tribes would build up more, but I understand that time constants would make that difficult. Also would be fun if you could drop monsters in for the tribes to fight.

chunkyguy 2012-08-28 20:15

This is a Windows only right? Why do you have other platforms listed? Or is there a way to run this on Mac?

imef 2012-08-28 20:30

I thought it's cross platform... But maybe I was wrong...

seconddimension 2012-08-28 20:42

Great idea, I really liked watching the simulation. It would be good to see a bigger difference between soldiers and workers, and perhaps see the soldiers with different weapons depending on their technology. Overall really interesting

aarongordon 2012-08-28 21:04

Great work. Fits the theme very well, but i wasn't sure what i was doing most of the time. Anyway a really good entry!

paulsb 2012-08-28 21:54

Neat idea! Shame there wasn't a bit more gameplay really, all I could do was randomly kill dudes. But it was fun seeing them going about their business. (Also I had to force kill the exe on Win7)

mattmillerpc 2012-08-28 23:16

haha fun little game.

susanthecat 2012-08-28 23:31

Cute little game.

infinitedog 2012-08-29 18:30

Nice one! My suggestion is add control using mouse, playing with the arrow keys is quite slow :D.

kibertoad 2012-08-29 21:26

Liked simple, functional graphics. Simulation was visualized in an easy to follow way; wish there were more things happening around and tribes expanded beyond their comfort circle. If developed further, could be an interesting game.

ramoncb 2012-08-29 22:04

I liked the concept, interesting idea, you should keep investing in this game! Was really fun playing god xD

cipher 2012-08-30 13:55

Nice job

jake 2012-08-30 19:24

Love The Game Keep working on it PLEASE :)

cacciatc 2012-08-30 19:58

I am still trying to visualize the twiggy weapons. Fun stuff.

vaelzan 2012-08-31 19:24

Nice idea. This could be rather awesome with additional work.

cyboot 2012-08-31 21:42

playing god and annoy the people.
I like it :)

tastyorange 2012-09-01 02:13

Pretty nifty! It looks like there might be a lot of replay in this!... if it wasn't a tad bit on the boring side. The graphics and sound were okay, nothing really stunning. I would have really liked for a sound when a popup appears; quite often I found myself minimizing the window. A little background music wouldn't hurt either.

I gave high humour points! Some of the stuff that came up was pretty funny. Things like "blue tribe has invented art" and "yellow tribe has invented travel to space". It was bit interesting that you put in monotheism as well as God but no other "superior beings".

I might come back to play this more, just to see the other possibilities. Good work!

murrayl 2012-09-01 15:42

As others have said, this isn't much of a game yet. It's really fun just to watch, though, and it would benefit greatly from some further development.

I hope you keep working on it!

zx81 2012-09-02 21:07

Imef, the game is pretty cool :)

porpentine 2012-09-03 23:56

nice start, it's like playing around with ant colonies. i want more games like this!

tomhunt 2012-09-07 03:25

i kind of felt like a third wheel playing this and the only thing i could really do once it started was to unleash disasters that kill the little simulated people.

after a little bit of this i went over to another window and just let it run for a bit. this was kind of interesting just letting it play itself out, but it would often stop and demand my attention to acknowledge that the Red people have discovered that sticks make nice weapons. i'd much rather just have this message just pop up and go away on its own.

davidwparker 2012-09-14 15:03

Sorry, I don't have Windows, so I can't play it.
