| Apr 8 12:43:53 | Depth of your Thoughts | ♥ 3 | I love pure narrative/art games, but yeah not being able to understand any of the text is a huge bummer ;w; I tried my hardest and I assume it's about contemplating the menial boredom and repetition of life, while also about the struggles to keep up with your own goals? Maybe if the text didn't disappear automatically or when I paused the game, I'd at least be able to translate On a purely technical sense, it makes sense to start with something small, especially for your first 3D game! I just have two notes: the mouse sensitivity felt too high so it'd be nice to be able to change it, and since the game starts in fullscreen, you should have a quit button in the pause menu so we don't need to Alt+F4 | |
| Apr 8 12:51:09 | 7m 16s | Poor Julio... | ♥ 1 | I really wish I could play this game, it looks really cute, but unfortunately it doesn't fit on my screen. ;w; Captura de tela 2025-04-08 094843.png My laptop is 1366x768, there's probably some sort of configuration in the engine that lets the game window resize dinamically |
| Apr 8 13:37:33 | 46m 24s | Deep Fry | ♥ 3 | This game is absolutely gorgeous, adorable and hilarious!! The sounds and bouncy visuals are super satisfying. I love how the simple cozy cooking game mechanics are turned on their heads and transformed into an intense action game x3 One thing is that the game was lagging a little bit, so the custom cursor felt pretty sluggish to move around (it moved like a third of a second after I'd moved my mouse), that probably made this game twice as tiring as it was supposed to be so I had a particularly hard time keeping up 😅 I would have appreciated some more clarity early on about what order the mashup-mashups are meant to be made in (I had to retry the coin pyramid like 5 times until I got it), like maybe using parenthesis or zebra-striping the colors to match mashup parts together, but at least there isn't much of a penalty to missing orders so you can experiment. I really fell in love with the game when I started having to cook emoji and coins and timers and tempura tempura multiple times lol Oh one more thing, in the segments where there's a lot of customers at the same time, it becomes confusing where the orders are supposed to be placed, because the speech bubbles go over the customers, and they're always placed one spot to the right of the actual customer, so I ended up making a lot of mistakes because of that, also when the orders get bigger the speech balloons overlap eachother and there's no way to bring them up to read them. All in all though this was a beautifully surreal experience that made me smile a lot!! |
| Apr 8 13:59:21 | 21m 48s | A Final Deed | ♥ 1 | Captura de tela 2025-04-08 105311.png mann i really liked this game!!! :D i like how you came up with so many different ways to give challenge to typing! the music is super classic and beautiful, feels like a movie score, perfect for thinking. you went really hard with the aesthetic but besides that the mechanics are also very strong on their own, this kind of well-executed simplicity impresses me! |
| Apr 8 14:10:16 | 10m 55s | The 7 Questions | ♥ 1 | I'm pretty impressed with the spicyness of some of these lines haha! This is a pretty cozy toy, I like the look of it and how it makes me think. One of the answers kinda confused me: twice the game asked me if I would sacrifice 10 people to save 100, I answered "no" both times, yet at the end it said "you are willing to take hard choices for the greater good of the whole, if more people benefit you don't hesitate" is that correct? one more thing, one time I got a very long response back and the "ask me again" button was off screen, even if I zoomed out it didn't appear |
| Apr 8 14:35:48 | 25m 32s | The chronicles of Mr. Marmo | ♥ 2 | Yay!! What a fun little adventure! Simple controls, immediately understood. I'm very glad you kept that level music haha it's the mario underwater theme right? Like other people said, I also had some trouble with the physics, I didn't end up getting stuck but I kept walking inside floors and ceilings when coming at them from the side, sometimes I'd also see marbles spawning inside floors on unreachable areas, but mostly this was just straightforward fun! |
| Apr 8 14:50:48 | 15m 00s | Oh No!! Astral Warp | ♥ 1 | This has got to be the cleverest little puzzle game I've seen in years!! Genuinely mind bending, genious use of the theme, puzzles were novel and made me think!! This one is a winner. |
| Apr 8 16:29:31 | 1h 38m | DreamCyst | ♥ 0 | Well it's exactly what it says in the tin! |
| Apr 8 16:39:11 | 9m 40s | BoP | ♥ 2 | Simple fun!! Perfect for a mobile game. I downloaded the APK on my phone, and while it was really laggy, I still had a good time! I like how the spiral staircase allows you to see what's coming, very efficient design. I love the sound effects as well, and the visual of bones felling down a staircase is really funny. I did notice that my score only updated after I beat my previous highscore, before that it's always 0. But other than that it's a great entry! |
| Apr 8 23:47:28 | 7h 08m | Record Depth | ♥ 1 | This is hysterical! The small screen, funny drawings, pixely graphics and needless violence really remind me of old shockwave games. There isn't much at all in the way of gameplay but honestly this is so charming I can't even complain, made me smile!! |
| Apr 9 00:25:33 | 38m 05s | The Descent | ♥ 1 | Aw hell yeah, I love upgrade games!! Felt super satisfying to get progressively deeper and deeper, and watching my gold go up. The blurry Morshu in the shop broke me. |
| Apr 9 16:31:09 | 16h 05m | Where's My Pants?! | ♥ 1 | holy crap, you're gamesplusjames!! your tutorials were my gateway to game dev like 7 years ago, so crazy to randomly find you in my rating queue! i'm gonna play your game at a later time, just wanted to give you my well overdue thanks x)) |
| Apr 10 16:34:34 | 24h 03m | Diggin' Deeper | ♥ 2 | Fun little game! Feels like something you'd find at an arcade. Others said it was hard to remember which key was which, but I found the game really easy 😅 which is not a bad thing, at least once I started to get bored it was already over. Maybe one thing that could help people getting disoriented with the controls would be to assign one tool to each hand, i.e. A for the shovel, and Right Arrow for the pickaxe, so that each tool can be activated using a different half of the brain or something like that. |
| Apr 10 16:54:53 | 20m 19s | Somnium | ♥ 3 | That was so cool! Really felt like playing superliminal for the first time again. I loved the graphics and environments, there was a lot to see, especially in that room with the impossible triangle! I did think the end was a little sudden, just falling off the map, I thought it was a bug at first lol but I guess it fits! |
| Apr 10 17:07:47 | 12m 54s | Deepest Dark | ♥ 0 | Beautiful game! The creatures definitely feel scary, makes me shiver bvrbvr!! I died a bunch of times, so many that I considered giving up, but I did manage to finish the game! I'm just not really sure what I did that made me succeed the last time 😅 I just decided to go through the whole maze with my light off and beg that the creatures didn't find me while I was unprotected, which felt more like luck. Nevertheless, if you wanted to spook me you did a great job lol! |
| Apr 10 18:04:27 | 56m 40s | Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp | ♥ 5 | Captura de tela 2025-04-10 150153.png I... spent way too long on this 😅 I love incremental games so much, and this one hits the spot perfectly. Even though after some time you mostly are just buying upgrades, the game is always giving you more to do, so you're always on the move, and the quest system adds that little bit of extra character. The graphics, audio and writing are all wonderfully quirky. Honestly masterful! EDIT: Oh, one small thing. The item I was holding kept flickering position and took up a pretty big space on the screen, which made exploring for items a bit annoying, I'd like it if the held items were smaller and were fixed to the camera. |
| Apr 10 18:38:53 | 34m 26s | Dead & Buried | ♥ 1 | Oh this is so charming!! You think it's just gonna be a clever lil puzzle game but then the story takes a turn and suddenly you're sending hordes of zombies to space! I was really enjoying the actual puzzle too, it makes you think! Very cute graphics too. Short and sweet, well done all around! |
| Apr 10 21:26:17 | 2h 47m | Vanity Check | ♥ 3 | Well that was weird! I didn't get the concept right away but as soon as I tried to fight myself and all the monsters in the map spawned at the same time and swarmed me, it was immediately obvious! That was unintentionally very funny, so was getting to the end after beating all the monsters and killing my bad self in 4 hits lol. I really like this idea of beating all the mini-bosses in a map first in order to make the final boss easier, that's a good way to encourage exploration! I liked the music too, felt appropriately surreal. I guess the only thing that's missing is polish, the art is alright but stretched out or aliased in some places, the collisions in the hallways are kinda wonky, the sounds cut off way too soon, there's no feedback or healthbar to know when you get hurt, no feedback for what the pills and the chant/blanket too, they're a bunch of small things that add up, but ultimately I think the core of the game is pretty fun! |
| Apr 12 15:09:08 | 41h 42m | A Soggy Situation | ♥ 1 | "did you enjoy the prank" BVFVFFFFF amazing, this game felt like it was laughing in your face the entire time. I don't know if I'm proud to admit it but I did actually finish the game with no macros, but I had to hold the mouse with one hand and flex my other arm so hard that it twitched as fast as possible; and that STILL didnt guarantee that I'd win! |
| Apr 12 16:12:27 | 1h 03m | Explorem Ipsum: Catacombs of Time | ♥ 1 | This is super impressive and clever! The graphics and sounds are sublime and the puzzle design is also very smart. I really like this idea of bringing stuff from one puzzle to another, it involves a level of planning that isn't common in many puzzle games. Unfortunately I am dumb as fuck so I only got 4/6 crystals before completely frying out and giving up 💔 but I really really wish I could continue because this is special! |
| Apr 12 19:14:58 | 3h 02m | Formidable Satisfactory Silkworm | ♥ 1 | Ok that was pretty satisfying! Extremely simple, but there's a pleasure in hunting down little guys and lighting them on fire. I love how they run around when they start burning. |
| Apr 12 19:25:25 | 10m 27s | Ludum Dare 57 Depth Of A Phrase | ♥ 1 | This looks really fun but unfortunately even with the resolution fix I couldn't play it :( My screen is 1366x768 so the game doesn't fit. If you end up fixing this somehow do tell me because I love word games so I'd like to try this out! |
| Apr 12 19:38:04 | 12m 39s | Goodzilla [Sega Master System] | ♥ 3 | Awww this is absolutely adorable!! I love the goodzilla so much! Really cool to see the mastersystem getting some love, I've seen other games for older systems in previous LD, particularly the NES, but never the sms! I love how games look on it, they're so colorful. Anyway the game is fun too, very satisfying, and I'm glad you can't die because some of these sections with the cannons are really tough lol, good job! |
| Apr 12 22:35:20 | 2h 57m | Podvodsk | ♥ 3 | Damn, this game is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful art and music, clever mechanic, I hadn't seen anyone do something quite like this before! It's really fun and satisfying to build your city as deep as possible. |
| Apr 12 22:49:59 | 14m 39s | Rapid Eye Microgames | ♥ 1 | This game's presentation is absolutely gorgeous, I love all the different art styles and ideas for microgames, unfortunately I was having some issues with the controls that made it kinda frustrating. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like the custom in-game mouse doesn't follow my inputs in the way I expect, it's more noticeable if I wiggle my mouse, instead of it wiggling in place like normal, it slides around everywhere, as if there's some sort of acceleration. The mouse sensitivity is also wildly different in every minigame, it feels too fast in the key minigame, too slow on the statue of liberty boss, and on the sandwich one you move very slowly but accelerate too fast. I tried a bunch of times but it's hard to get a grip of the controls this way :< If only the game followed my actual mouse's movements I feel like this could have been perfect! |
| Apr 12 23:26:32 | 36m 33s | Nightmare Descent | ♥ 2 | Okay, this is reallllllllly cool, you nailed every single aspect! I love the mechanic of using cards on different slots for different effects, weighing each strategy, actually made me think and plan ahead! The graphics and music are all beautiful, and each card had really distinct effects that made them useful in different situations! This is really tightly designed and I'm impressed! |
| Apr 12 23:59:06 | 32m 34s | Temple of Hands | ♥ 2 | This was crazy cool!! I love the aesthetic, the music, and playing correctly was very satisfying! Like others said, it was pretty difficult to understand when you were supposed to play, many times I did a pattern during the "watch" phase and got confused as to why it was showing me red hands xD though I got the hang of it, and thank god losing all my fingers didn't make me lose because I ended up with 1x0!! |
| Apr 13 00:18:52 | 19m 46s | Lock Smith | ♥ 1 | I really like the music, graphics, and the little voice over, but all the elements in the game are way too small to me, my eye sight isn't the greatest 😅 I got stuck at the level where there's a graph with a line going up. I thought I needed to pick the shapes where the number of sides on them keeps going up, but I can't really tell what each shape is supposed to be since they're so tiny! They're just a few pixels on my screen. If that's not the solution I'd like a hint because I'm stumped ;w; |
| Apr 13 01:48:09 | 1h 29m | Dwingles | ♥ 2 | First up thank you for making the first Unity game I've played this jam to have correct UI scaling so I can play on my tiny ass laptop 🙏 Anyway, fun little game! I'm not even gonna try to beat my score because looking at these records this game is clearly for insane people |
| Apr 13 01:58:23 | 10m 14s | The Depths, A Floppy Cat Adventure | ♥ 1 | I'm actually so sad 😭 I wanted so bad to see what this cute floppy cat game was about bc i love his face so much but it doesn't run on my computer... the error log says "failed to create audio", I tried both the patched and unpatched versions |
| Apr 13 02:24:10 | 25m 47s | a shrimply irresistible story | ♥ 1 | I'm absolutely in love with your art style Captura de tela 2025-04-12 230404.png So fricking cute, I love all these paths, you've got a pretty good variety of stories here! I got 9 endings, not sure how to get the other ones but it felt like enough! If anything, I'd say the vocal sounds are a bit too harsh sounding, and the text at the decisions goes a little too slow for repeat playthroughs, but honestly I just liked this one a lot despite all that! My favorite was the tax-avoidant penguin jailed in a can of spam, I'm sure he's got a whole story! |
| Apr 22 20:26:16 | 234h 02m | Down Under | ♥ 2 | bvfbvfbvbv awww!! what a hilarious and adorable lil game!! just the way I like it x3 I love how effortlessly silly it is from beginning to end, made me wanna play again just to [try to break the physics](https://fupi.cat/media/external/loopdeloop.mp4) -- I couldn't but still had a laugh! |
