May 1 00:02:16 USPS United Space Poostal Service ♥ 2 Pretty neat arcade-style shooter, I love how you have to be precise. Kinda confused on the click and drag control scheme? Feels like it could've just been a mouse movement to move the ship and then click/space to shoot, but that's just me. I read your devlog and I'm honestly surprised you still managed to pull through despite all those outages and data losses!
May 1 01:23:59 1h 21m Crystallium ♥ 6 This is pretty slick! Feels like a mobile game I would've been way too addicted to in high school lol. Controls pretty smoothly, only issue I have is with the collisions on some of the obstacles but otherwise this is really cool. Got 35 on my first attempt
May 1 02:06:43 42m 44s Read All About It ♥ 2 In general it's pretty difficult to tell which buildings you're supposed to be delivering to. The map is quite small and the movement is really sluggish which makes it pretty annoying to get from one place to another. I do like the concept though, and the fact you managed to create a whole progression system and upgrades in such a short amount of time is no easy feat. Keep working and you'll improve in no time!
May 1 02:15:10 8m 27s It's Cargo Time! ♥ 1 Really simple concept, fun execution. At first I was a bit frustrated because of how hard it was to find each building. And then I discovered you could drive through alleys. And that changed everything. While I do wish that could've been telegraphed, I think it's such a cool "aha" moment that people should be left to discover on their own. As of writing this, I hold the high score of 58 :) Good job!
May 1 02:26:50 11m 40s The Pigeon Post Principle ♥ 6 What a cute and clever game! I love all the puzzles you managed to squeeze into this in such a short amount of time, and with really cool solutions too!
May 1 02:36:25 9m 35s Ultimate Package ♥ 9 Didn't realize jumping on enemies was momentum based, which was cool when I discovered it. Wasn't much use for it but it was neat. Hitboxes detection on enemies was pretty frustrating sometimes, sometimes it looked like they weren't touching me but I still got damaged. And the boss' movement was so jittery, like it was teleporting, made it impossible to dodge it. Otherwise, very cool playing as Moist Critikal.
May 1 02:44:29 8m 04s LD53: House Delivery! ♥ 2 The music speeding up/slowing down based on what you do is a really nice touch! I love the one button gameplay, it's so simple yet so addictive for some reason! Was confusing at first but eventually got the hang of it. I think the text that pops up should be telegraphed a bit better/be a bit easier to see.
May 1 03:20:43 36m 14s Rattenbiss - Plague delivery ♥ 1 Graphics are fantastic. The timing is really tight but makes me wanna keep trying. The exits in each level are hard to see though, and they're really tight gaps.
May 1 03:30:34 9m 51s 42 blocks in 7 and one-half minutes ♥ 2 It really makes you FEEL like you have to travel 42 blocks in 7 and one-half minutes. Swinging mechanics work pretty well though there was a section where it looked like you needed to go way higher and there wasn't really a way to tell that earlier on.
May 1 03:35:55 5m 21s Mt. Deliverest ♥ 9 Instruction button wasn't working for me no matter how many times I kept clicking on it, so I didn't know how to control the game until a few attempts later. Overall I like the ragdoll physics, it's a rage game like Getting Over It which was pretty neat. Agree that collapses happen a bit too frequently especially earlier on, maybe they could happen more frequently the higher up you go. Art is insane, good job there!
May 1 03:47:48 11m 53s Serum Run ♥ 2 Wow, this is a really awesome text-based adventure, and the fact you were able to put in so many different scenarios was really awesome. A shame about the audio but the visuals changing throughout your adventure was awesome to see.
May 1 03:54:32 6m 44s That one time I became Merlin's apprentice and was tasked with destroying his... ♥ 2 The graphics on this are insane, but unfortunately because there's no feedback for both giving damage and taking damage, it's hard to tell how much health an enemy has to regain mana, or when you're about to die.
May 1 03:59:36 5m 04s De-Livery: A Game About Organ Removal Surgery ♥ 1 A very solid and unique game! I love how you took the theme and made it a pun, and then turned it into something unique and challenging. Really tests your dexterity, and I really like how morbid it all is, from the visuals to the sound design.
May 2 18:02:22 38h 02m Starlighter ♥ 0 Very interesting take on the theme! I really enjoyed the slippery movement, made it feel more fluid and also kind of provided another challenge to avoiding the buildings (not sure if that was intentional). I agree that lighting up the stars should've been automatic but it was nice nonetheless.
May 2 18:04:25 2m 03s Pizzapocalypse ♥ 1 Really funny game because of how chaotic it can get. Sounds were a bit jarring but controls were fantastic. Enjoyed this quite a bit!
May 2 18:08:18 3m 53s Deliver the Cube ♥ 1 Took a while to understand but with enough tinkering I got it. So cool you managed to do something like this in such a short amount of time, reminds me a bit of something like Kerbal Space Program! I just wish there was a bit more instruction/tutorialization so there wasn't so much trial and error to understand how the game works.
May 2 18:14:39 6m 21s Styx and Stones ♥ 5 Really incredible art style! The default view on the web build made things zoom in, had to figure out a way to make it full screen to fully enjoy. And it also took me a bit to figure out the controls but they're so simple it wasn't that big of a deal. Love how hitting obstacles reduces your total capacity, a very interesting take on the health mechanic.
May 2 18:18:07 3m 28s Crazy Hearse ♥ 2 It's ok, I got insurance. Car was so difficult to control but maybe that's the point? I think you could've kept the speed but made it control a bit better. Pressing W to go down while you're facing down is so wack, took me a long time to get used to that. Otherwise a really funny premise.
May 2 18:26:20 8m 13s Drony Delivery ♥ 2 The watercolour art style is insane! You balance the puzzles and managing orders very well. My one critique is that it can be really hard to see where you need to place things as it can blend in with the background quite a bit, but otherwise this is a really fun time!
May 2 18:37:32 11m 12s Rogue 'n Royal ♥ 1 What a great game! Everything is really polished, fantastic job! This is such a unique concept and the way you managed to allow for branching decisions that affect how you take on different things is really cool. I'd love to see this expanded on in the future, this has a lot of potential for sure! Reminds me a bit of Reigns.
May 2 18:42:58 5m 26s 30 Minutes Or Your Potion's Free ♥ 2 Insane you managed to pull this off. I love deckbuilders and the fact you managed to make one for Ludum Dare is so cool. You could definitely expand on this and turn it into a full game. Everything is so simple to understand and yet there's some really cool synergy to pull off here. Fantastic work!
May 2 20:45:06 2h 02m Delivery Champ ♥ 1 Love the simplicity and love the concept even more hahahaha. Wish there were some consequences for failing a button press but otherwise really solid.
May 2 20:49:15 4m 09s C.R.A.B. signal ♥ 2 It was quite confusing to figure out what everything did even with the explanations. Once I did figure it out, this was a nice time!
May 2 20:54:45 5m 30s Delivery Boy ♥ 3 Wow, this is really frantic and engaging! Very cool having to manage navigation and accepting orders. Gets quite challenging the further you go. I wish the tutorial wasn't just walls of text because it can be easy to skip through and forget what you have to do but once I got the hang of it it was really fun.
May 2 21:03:02 8m 17s Shaggy Rush ♥ 2 The controls felt really clunky, it was kind of like there was some latency between when I pressed the button and when the character would actually perform the animation? Or it could be the animations were delayed. Either way, it didn't feel as responsive as it could've. Wall jumps were also really hard to pull off and I found myself getting stuck on walls more often than not. I do like the tutorials being conveyed through the doors. Love the character design as well.
May 2 21:10:12 7m 10s Faking It ♥ 3 This is incredible, you struck gold on this idea. It's hilarious to see the guy slowly get more stressed out the more you fail and the artstyle is amazing!
May 3 00:29:38 3h 19m The Souls Express ♥ 3 Wow, this is stunning! How were you able to pack in so many little details in such a short amount of time! I agree with the others that gameplay was a bit slow but I think the kind of introspective nature of the story suits that really well. A bit more agency in the gameplay instead of just getting told where to drop people off would've been nice but this is a really solid foundation for something really special.
May 3 00:50:51 21m 13s Corgi Cargo Combat ♥ 2 I didn't expect to have this much fun with a game about pissing. Ok maybe I did.
May 3 02:24:27 1h 33m Constellation Courier ♥ 5 What an adorable game, the art is simply wonderful and I loved learning about each of the different characters you visited!
May 3 19:27:59 17h 03m Oshumania ♥ 1 Nice and simple concept. Some tiling issues and general lack of polish but otherwise the drone controls pretty well. I would've liked to see some kind of consequence for crashing with an oshum you're carrying, but there is some good enough challenge with navigating each level anyways.
