| Apr 3 19:11:17 | THERE IS A FIRE HERE | ♥ 2 | I really like the art, the colors are really clear. My first few attempts I tried to bring my fire to the trees/wood and wondered why they weren't burning. | |
| Apr 3 19:19:49 | 8m 32s | Friendly Corp | ♥ 2 | Really liked the sound effects and art on the little creatures, the office felt surprisingly big but never hard to navigate (thanks to the little signs on the wall), had a few issues with mouse drift in the browser version but the windows download was completely stable if anyone else has the same problem. |
| Apr 3 19:24:12 | 4m 23s | Numerus Maximus | ♥ 2 | Will come back when ratings open but enjoyed this as a good "minesweeper-like" some simple rules and a bit of nice game-feel that add up to a pretty satisfying push your luck game. |
| Apr 4 00:27:03 | 5h 02m | Distract The Cat | ♥ 1 | Cute game, The movement/controls feel super similar to bouncing a toy(like a feather on a string) for a cat in real life. |
| Apr 4 00:35:10 | 8m 07s | Escape The Unstoppable Gooey Blob | ♥ 1 | Really enjoyed this, way more weapons than you'd think would be in a jam game, although some of them feel like they aren't really making a dent in the blob. Also didn't realize you have enough health you can actually stand in the blob for a little while a chop it up until after a couple of attempts where I died by blowing myself up. |
| Apr 4 01:18:29 | 43m 19s | plant. | ♥ 2 | It was very unclear what it was that I was doing that was causing the plant to be healthy or die, so very true to life. I kept going back to chop the plant back to health anyway so quite satisfying to play. |
| Apr 4 06:53:12 | 5h 34m | Serious Royal Business | ♥ 2 | Really great game, feels like there is heaps of depth and ways things can play out for something made in 48 hours, the amount of feedback is nice and vague to keep you guessing but the randomness sometimes makes that frustrating (It's hard to work out what the AIs like or dislike before they kill you). I wish there was something more active you could do to placate pissed off members of the court, I feel like one will just be fuming off in the corner as I talk to everyone but them until I die. |
| Apr 4 07:04:26 | 11m 14s | The Hunger | ♥ 2 | Is draining blood supposed to one-shot enemies even when they are at full health? I never really felt like I was in danger because I could just rely on blood drain to kill every enemy onscreen. Otherwise interesting concept, the resource management side of the game works well with the card game aspect. |
| Apr 4 07:13:21 | 8m 55s | Last Bastion of Wizardom | ♥ 0 | Are you supposed to shoot from the top of the tower or leap off and fight the orbs from the ground? As a bit of a frantic rush to get back up the (very tall) tower hoping I've got enough health to last after capturing souls to heal it kind of worked for me. |
| Apr 4 07:22:45 | 9m 24s | Rat-Stack | ♥ 2 | A nice game when you actually get a good stack going, but sometimes the objects spawn in such a jumble at the start it feels like you can't move anything without something else being in the way and it turns into more of a rat clean-up. |
| Apr 4 07:30:16 | 7m 31s | LOOP | ♥ 1 | It's a really interesting concept and you did a great job communicating things to the player just through the UI, I agree with others and think a "how to play" section might be good to clarify but I got everything through the visuals. |
| Apr 4 07:49:07 | 18m 51s | RISING BIRD | ♥ 3 | Nice game but it's a bit tricky to work out you have to go back and forth from the left side of the tree to the right because it looks like the bird can just jump directly up to the next layer. |
| Apr 4 08:44:28 | 55m 21s | Gone Out West | ♥ 1 | For a jam game this has an impressive number of systems, it's a bit tricky to keep track of them all but your tutorial lays them all out nicely. |
| Apr 4 08:58:13 | 13m 45s | Space Onslaught | ♥ 1 | Really good, I always love strategy jam games, never felt like I "broke" it either, no matter how many units or how much income I had the aliens always felt like a pressure. |
| Apr 4 09:01:24 | 3m 11s | Keep Cool | ♥ 1 | Wow the title screen and game over screen art is brilliant, a very nice game. |
| Apr 5 07:07:08 | 22h 05m | Click to Continue | ♥ 1 | If I could give 10 stars for humor and audio I would easily the best game I've played so far, absolutely loved it. |
| Apr 5 07:59:07 | 51m 59s | Parachute | ♥ 2 | Really great game, the perfect example of limited scope and a good concept with great execution. |
| Apr 5 08:11:49 | 12m 42s | DeckHex | ♥ 2 | Visuals and audio were both outstanding, I liked the guess the frequency puzzle element as well would probably play a full point and click game with this as the puzzle system if it had this level of production quality. |
| Apr 5 08:25:32 | 13m 43s | Campfire | ♥ 1 | Really lovely, everything tied together so well, I'm really impressed at how understated and effective the writing and mood were. |
| Apr 5 09:12:34 | 47m 02s | B-Game | ♥ 1 | The pixel art in this game is gorgeous, really neat simple concept as well. taking the queen bee to the corner of the screen seems to send me into turbo speed. |
| Apr 5 09:22:51 | 10m 17s | Keep the tower alive | ♥ 1 | Very cool game, I feel like there are some really nice art and animations on the enemies but they all get lost in the fog so you can't see them properly/ |
| Apr 6 08:27:48 | 23h 04m | FUSE | ♥ 1 | Really good execution of a simple concept, just difficult enough I felt like I wasn't going to make it, the song is really catchy too |
| Apr 6 08:58:28 | 30m 40s | The Inevitable Company | ♥ 1 | I have discovered the endless joys of hitting sinks and will never go back, wonderful game. |
| Apr 6 09:05:12 | 6m 44s | Wild Mongoose Chase | ♥ 2 | Very straightforward and fun, despite the retro look everything was really well visually communicated. |
| Apr 6 09:09:37 | 4m 25s | TAB-BOT | ♥ 0 | I got a JavaScript error when trying to play one of top mini-games in html5 that I think killed tab bot, but click the cookie and paper scissors rock worked. Very cute tamagochi style game. |
| Apr 6 09:35:29 | 25m 52s | Different Strokes | ♥ 3 | You've somehow created a game that captures so many of the most positive elements of a game jam within a game jam. I just lost so much time to exploring the gallery and trying to improve artworks. This is absolutely wonderful. |
| Apr 7 08:12:59 | 22h 37m | Secret Mission: Datastorm | ♥ 1 | I'm a bit confused as to what I'm supposed to do, I move back and forth across the screen until a circle moves past me vertically then everything stops. |
| Apr 7 08:26:03 | 13m 04s | Stickman Dam | ♥ 1 | A really good job for a first game jam, well scoped with a direct and clear goal. I agree with others that a score could have been good, or perhaps a clearer indicator of how long the Dam had left until it burst. |
| Apr 7 09:45:56 | 1h 19m | Wrath of a Dying God | ♥ 1 | This was incredibly addictive I got to about wave 20 a few times and wanted to reset to play around with the different bonuses. Balancing the different powers was actually really interesting, my only notes are that heal always feels like a waste of time, the regular units die too fast to benefit form it and in order for it to be effective for angels and buildings I ended up investing so many points my other powers weren't holding things off, maybe if it could heal units past their max? that might also help with the fact that Angels seem to just melt when up against the black hole enemies. |
