Oct 4 07:42:08 Domi-No-Mercy ♥ 1 I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. I love the battle-field like music really works, although i found the music a bit too loud vs. the sound effects. It reminded me a bit like real pin football games from my past, so i could imagine the theme to be further polished could be really cool. I enjoyed mostly pushing the buildings that was suprising, could be maybe stronger element of the game?
Oct 4 07:55:44 13m 36s Unstable Mines ♥ 2 A very nice game overall. Congrats. I really think the theme with the chain reaction brings the unstable concept to life well. Its cool that the bombs become aggressive after some time. Its good you can try dash away from problem areas. Maybe some different maps with different kind of strategies would have been a nice addition. The sound was nicely done too, graphics bit basic but at least clear.
Oct 4 09:21:59 1h 26m Unstable Empire ♥ 1 Somehow I got confused how this all should work. The idea is nice of task-person mapping but it was not clear to me when a turn ends, and why some tasks fail, some others dont. I think some feedback on whether something is failing by random chance or by player failing would have helped. And yes the Marshall killing the Chancellor was a nice move :)
Oct 4 09:34:42 12m 43s Totally Stable Docking Simulator ♥ 1 I agree a really relaxing gameplay, with some ambient music I could think to play it just to break away for a few minutes. What i liked on graphics that it is a consistent palette - it matches. It could be a bit lighter colors though as well. Some stars would have gone a long way I think to create an immersion of a space docking. Nice job alltogether! I also appreciated the theme of unstability.
Oct 4 09:52:22 17m 40s Astral Instability ♥ 1 Congratulations! I think this is a super little nice game. The puzzle mechanics, graphics and audio just create a nice smooth experience... I really appreciated playing it. I like the theme of ghost moving into objects - this fits well with the puzzle mechanics, but I dont understand how it relates to the theme unstable. The graphics is great, but the floor floating animations are not needed - they distrubed me unnecessarily, and to me it would have been OK to simply imagine Im in a haunted mansion or something (eg you have everyday objects - great idea) but could be in a more regular stable house setting. It took me some time to figure out mechanics, so a few more easier maps would have helped. Anyway, really nice job!
Oct 4 10:01:37 9m 15s Walking Home Simulator ♥ 1 A cute game, with a really nice pixel art. I could have gone playing a bit longer, but the game was too simple I'm afraid. Maybe more cars - and put the beer only there?
Oct 4 11:29:53 1h 28m Reactor ♥ 1 A very super game. I really think the concept is super, with like a fusion reactor - how do you capture the energy creating particles. I love the graphics, matches very well the game/mechanics. I find the mechanics really an intersting one. I found the game though rather difficult and therefore a bit frustrating despite the well intended tutorials.
Oct 4 11:38:14 8m 21s Colon: Colon ♥ 1 I think this is a great concept, this would be a unique way to control a game. I wonder how my own stomach does such a difficult activity ๐Ÿ˜„ I found the controls a bit challenging though. Well done nice work!
Oct 4 11:48:42 10m 28s Death?Box ♥ 0 A cute game I believe. Agree that difficulty could have been increasing over time. I also thought the cat could have been vibrated in radiation (like with two versions of the cat exchanged), or simply disappear sometimes and reoccur somewhere else - following the Schrodinger's cat example.
Oct 4 11:59:24 10m 42s Orbit Unstable ♥ 0 Nice recreation of flappy bird concept. I really enjoyed the perspective of the game, as the planet/Earth orbits and different satellites come. Simple and nicely done! Good choice of font and the athomspere was good. I missed some simple audio though, and I did not find this too well bringing the unstable theme.
Oct 4 12:06:30 7m 06s CrazyTrain ♥ 0 A nicely done small game. The graphics was cute and harmonic - and the way the landscape was moving cool. It made me laugh when "put big explosion here" part showed up! I think this is also a great way to include fun in your game. The game mechanics were a bit too easy, I can think of two things: 1. fire/steam too quickly cooled off 2. there was no hurt to move slow... it would have been better with a race-monster following the train so there would be higher stakes. Great that you included some basic audio - it worked.
Oct 4 12:26:32 20m 02s Don't Melt ♥ 1 Its a really cool game! I loved the art and the mood of the game was super. I really enjoyed the mechanics too (which felt nicely balanced), and that you have to control a reactor-power plant. The reactor sound effects were great, i wish they were a bit louder in the beginning. The blow-up animation was also excellent in the end. Well done, really nice work!
Oct 4 16:26:53 4h 00m Apocalypse horse ♥ 1 Hah. Unstable stables ๐Ÿ˜„ Interesting really. First I thought I can only select one horse, which made sure I loose. Second I realized I need to select as many i can so i can beat everyone. Sometimes selection did not seem to work, maybe my fault. Anyhow I think you are unto something, it would be an interesting mechanic if you could only select one or a subset of horses, and maybe we would have some info on how many horses we have in each stable or with some barriers-walls on the map so you could strategize a bit. Anyway I had great fun watching how the horses were running around! Great job. BTW -- the moving dead horses were a real distraction. They should have stayed where they died or even disappear. Lastly - i could not resist this yellow background on your thumbnail image i had to click it!!! ๐Ÿ˜„
Oct 4 17:03:40 36m 47s Unpredictable Processes ♥ 1 I can imagine the graphics being inside a computer, but somehow were too strong lights which was distracting. Good little game though.
Oct 4 17:53:58 50m 18s Unstable Genius ♥ 1 Hilarious! I love this game, this is super funny. Especially the dont look folder was cool... The concept was great. I think the audio commentary was excellent, although the music was bit repetative. But otherwise all pure fun.
Oct 4 18:04:49 10m 51s Core of Color ♥ 1 It is really satisfying to watch these dots get organized by color. It annoyed me thought that i always lost all the dots, it felt like I cannot move slow enough to avoid that, but even with fastest speed i felt it was a bit slow to move around. Knowning the Ludum Dare theme, i expected some chain reactions - maybe colors could have sticked around longer but when some sort of a chain reaction starts, thats when the problem occurs. Anyway, really nice job! Congrats.
Oct 4 18:25:26 20m 37s Space Squabble ♥ 1 A great game! I loved the chatter between the guys and especially ending was fun. First I was really confused how to "repair" - i was waiting and nothing happened ๐Ÿ˜„ But after i figured out what to do it was really calm and nice experience. Great pixel art, and nice chat effects... Congrats.
Oct 4 18:39:53 14m 27s The Unstable Zone ♥ 0 Nice work on the story and the overall flow! I really liked the part on altering reality, memory losses, restarting your journey... The audio added a lot to the story, so I wish there were more sounds effect - and the music seemed too loud for me vs. the audio. The music fits well too to the mood and the story. In the end I got out of the second bridge but i was not sure whether i have left something to discover in the story. Alltogether great job and congratulations.
Oct 4 18:46:15 6m 22s Alien Disco ♥ 2 Danced for 100 seconds... It definitely brought back the feeling in being in the disco and manage your energy for the night ๐Ÿ˜„ And being the star of the night. A fun little game, with matching style of gameplay, graphics and audio. Great work, congrats!
Oct 4 18:54:35 8m 20s Unstable Concoction ♥ 1 Very nice graphics and audio, and a consistent game alltogether. Somehow stiring was not intuitive to me, i was trying to move the green rectangle ๐Ÿ˜„ Also I had no idea what needs to be mixed for quite some time. Anyhow, really nice job alltogether on your game.
Oct 4 19:15:37 21m 02s --- ♥ 1 Very nice atmosphere, the environment and the mood looks just super great. The audio worked well with the whole game. I would definitely play something like this, if there would be full maps and some more neat puzzles-progress.
Oct 4 19:27:13 11m 36s Optimal Path ♥ 2 Wow you tried to a do with this game. I tried the first map but unf I got stuck and could not move much further. I like the idea though of shooting out blocks to get moving. Quite a lot of graphics which is great, but i found them a bit to inconsistent. Anyhow congratulations for making the game!
Oct 4 19:31:55 4m 42s Happy Glasses ♥ 2 Congrats on your first submission, its a fun little game. I like you are utilizing the physics engine, i could imagine this becoming a game with more polish on visuals and more maps.
Oct 5 06:18:59 10h 47m Banana Martyr ♥ 1 A super charming little game - it's super. I love the artwork both the graphics and audio come together nicely. Plus the rope physics was also nice. I was thinking in the beginning oh this would be great if the rope would be moved, and then the boss fight came ๐Ÿ˜„ I assume with more time the gameplay could have been made more interesting (different maps, different enemies). The monkeys were so cute! Congrats, great job.
Oct 5 06:32:01 13m 02s Alpha Decay ♥ 3 A really cute game. I loved the nice charming graphics, clean but it worked nicely with a but muted and inviting color palette. I like how the atoms and basics of chemistry are presented here. I agree with Karsinis that I could totally see this for classroom game for students, if further improved. The puzzle mechanics sometimes were not clear to me, the goal clear, but not sure how i could achive it with not right number of atoms... Anyway, it is working and congrats to your first ever jam entry. Very well done!
Oct 5 17:36:33 11h 04m Eruption ♥ 3 Its a simple yet nice relaxing game. The signs on where to find the people and the arrows with directions were very helpful.
Oct 5 17:44:03 7m 30s Roboturai ♥ 1 Quite impressive with C++. I was not very good at this game - i always felt when hiting, not sure what i did wrong.
Oct 5 17:51:25 7m 22s Wibbly-wobbly Tower ♥ 1 Super game, and thigns are nicely organized our the theme - Japan music and building from bamboo was all fitting together nicely. The only minor thing I would have changed is to make the background a bit more Japan themed.
Oct 5 18:05:54 14m 29s Ruin ♥ 1 Overall a well done game. It was definitely relaxing, yet i found the puzzles/building part a bit easy. Nice job though!
Oct 6 18:08:18 24h 02m UNSTABLE OSCILLOSCOPE ♥ 0 Very super game. Simple but interesting mechanics, nice visual and audio. Congrats! Very nice.
Oct 6 18:34:24 26m 06s CandleLight ♥ 3 Wow! I think this is an excellent game in terms of mood, and execution quality of both graphics, audio and gameplay-maps. I love the idea of the character being a candle - serving two purposes: 1) creating the atmosphere, but also 2) to show time elapsed. Well done, this is excellent.
Oct 6 19:25:27 51m 03s Better Tomorrows ♥ 1 Hah, this is probably one of the best experiences I have played thru this LD. The story was excellent, and because I got most of the berries and mushrooms before I would have needed them, I could not escape ๐Ÿ˜„ The letters were so cool, plus i definitely loved the graphics and the athmosphere the whole thing had. Very nice game. Congrats.
Oct 10 10:37:17 87h 11m Wobbly Cannonry ♥ 3 Very nice idea and game. I love the graphics (esp explosions), and the game goes very well with the theme. I like the extra challenge when the red tower appeared to make sure you cannot win with a full stacked tower... A nice way to balance the challenge. It would have been nice with the space button to be able to flip around the guns, when you had only one of them...
Oct 10 10:58:44 21m 27s Shoved Serenity ♥ 1 Haha. A perfect small game. I really liked the how-to-play description, it was real fun. Also the controls felt very nicely balanced - not too easy, not too hard. Nice experience, made me laugh. Thanks!
Oct 10 11:32:33 33m 49s Hikariโ€™s Journey ๅ…‰ใฎๆ—… โ€” the umbral world ♥ 2 A great game, which pulled me into playing. I loved the abstract world which was totally destroyed (and disturbing) in the beginning, and it was a pleasant suprise that it evolved into a more concrete-stable world as Hikari progressed. In the text based parts, it was a nice touch on how pressing the yellow text unwrapped additional content. The story of self-reflection resonated with me very well (my game was also about a similar topic), and I think it was very nicely explained. I liked that getting out of coma would be via a set of puzzles (which for some reason I could not solve - I must have missed something obvious...). The music and the simple piano was resonating very well with the story. The only really minor thing is that sometimes i entered dialogs twice, and did not know how to cancel... anyway a super nice job for a jam game indeed.
Oct 10 11:41:21 8m 48s Collapsing Cave ♥ 0 Good mini game. I thought the graphics-audio were quite all right for a Jam submission: the biggest improvement i coudl see is with gameplay mechanic -- somehow make the collection of gold vs. collapsion logic a bit more difficult (like with accumulation and also cool-down periods would have gone a long way in making the engagement more interesting). Anyway, congratulations for finishing and submission!
