| Oct 6 19:18:17 | Assembly Loop | ♥ 1 | It took some time to understand the principle, the guide was a big help. In the end I had a lot of fun building the robots, my highscore is 5 :-) Some feedback for you: + The character was a bit hard to move around with a touchpad. When grabbed a mouse from the other room it was a lot better to control. + The first time I played, I focussed on the left blueprint the most. When finisched it got replaced with a new one. I did not realize that the time was running out for the others which ment I was game over pretty fast ^^" Maybe it was better to move the remaining blueprints to the left and add the new one at the right side. + I like how the player has to move around to pick up the pieces. I tried just standing next to the assembly line, but that took too much time. + Next time, try to add some sound to 'juice up' the game more :-) A simple audio que when a blueprint runs out of time would add so much to the game :-) I had fun playing the game. The theme was very visible, good job! | |
| Oct 6 19:44:38 | 26m 21s | Hoops Paradise | ♥ 2 | Somehow I already had fun reading the explaination. Somehow I find it funny how it says how to dispose the dead body like it is the most normal thing! When I played the game I laughed out loud by the choas this game brings haha. Texting your boss "that everything is ok" while you see people drowing in the background is somehow very funny to me. My highscore is 97 seconds. Some feedback: + It is a bit hard to play with a touchpad, when using a mouse it is a bit less hard. + I like how you have to search for the drowning person, I can imagine it is a bit like in real life. + The introductiontext you made seperate gave a lot of context with the situation the player is in. Maybe it would have been nice to add that introduction into first screen of the game itself. + I did not really understand the colors of the water, did I miss something? + The theme was very present in this one. + I liked the graphics very much. It all fits together very nicely. |
| Oct 6 20:05:34 | 20m 56s | Loop Cultist | ♥ 1 | I think this game has a lot of potential. Sadly, I did not understand much of it, sorry :-( I tried a lot and figured out some aspects, but I think there is a lot more I did not discover. In the screenshot below is how far I came, maybe I'm at the start, maybe I'm at the end. I don't really know ^^" Long story short, I missed the context. A tutorial level would have helped a lot, reading the description you ran out of time so I understand. I'll play the post-ld version later because I still liked it. I like the concept and art style and the audio queues are clear. The controls are solid. Screenshot from 2020-10-06 21-57-12.png |
| Oct 6 20:18:12 | 12m 38s | Lily Pad Drifters | ♥ 1 | I liked your game a lot. It is simple to learn, hard to master. The best games use that concept :-) I can't really see where the theme is, do the levels loop around? I missed the audio queues though, I think it adds a lot to a game like this. The graphics are solid though. Two things I didn't really understand: Why is there sometimes a textbaloon appearing at the frogs in the left top corner? And what do the hearts mean? I had fun playing your game, well done! Edit: I did not read your description properly, sorry for that. the objective is clear now :-) I have to win the girl frog and the hearts are an indicator of how far I've come/ |
| Oct 6 21:12:58 | 54m 46s | Legacy Looper | ♥ 1 | I really liked your game. it is an interesting concept using the player's movement as an 'enemy'. It makes you play in a way that you reduce the chaos in later levels, second guessing every movement. You perfectly nailed the death animation. The game is very hard, just like in the olden days. So the name is fitting. |
| Oct 6 21:27:02 | 14m 04s | Training for Capitalism | ♥ 0 | I liked the game. First i did not know what the accelerator was, but when I clicked around I found out. The concept is simple to learn, hard to master. You have to prioritize speed and efficiency. Using those colors made it very intuitive to play. Sometimes I would stop the train a little to late, and the passengers could not enter or leave. I have mixed feelings about that mechanic. It forces the player to be careful with the accelerator near stations (which is like real life). But it can also be a bit frustrating being one pixel off and getting a huge fine for not letting the passengers in or out 😅 The graphics could use some polish though, but the gameplay is solid and enjoyable. |
| Oct 6 21:36:13 | 9m 11s | Shadow of Archimedes | ♥ 3 | I played this game longer than I was supposed to haha, I liked it a lot. First I did not understand how to get the resources, but by picking them up and putting them into the contraptions I learned they generate new items. The art style is gorgeous Well Done! |
| Oct 6 21:42:21 | 6m 08s | Escape From Rotting Town | ♥ 1 | Sadly I don't have a controller right now so I can't play your game. Is there another way to play it the music sounds very fitting to the the though. And I like the graphics! How did you make those? Is it 3D art? Of it made out of 2D images? |
| Oct 6 21:46:24 | 4m 03s | Impact Juggling | ♥ 1 | I had to play for 5 seconds to know that this game is very fun to play and very addictive. The addition of a leaderboard makes the challenge even more fun. The 'juice' is very much present in this game. The only feedback I have is: the maximum amount of characters for the name on the leaderboard could be bigger (-: |
| Oct 7 10:44:22 | 12h 57m | Beyond Death | ♥ 7 | I loved this game! I'll play more of it later, I was soooo close finishing it and opening the door 😄 It's very simple to learn but hard to master. Which is a basis of a great game. I loved the graphics and the sound effects. Also the way the mood shifts gradually is done to perfection. The way the character reacts when it finds one of those little tokens is very cute. he's happy like a kid Normally I also give feedback on how to improve the game, but i cant think of anything with yours. Well done sir |
| Oct 7 15:17:09 | 4h 32m | Purgatory Hospital | ♥ 2 | First I thought the graphics where a bit rushed, but later I found out the mood (and so the graphics) changes after walking over the hole in the ground. It was intended that way and I like that Those grim reapers gave me goosebumps everytime I saw them, I felt an urge to run away from them. I think that was your intention so good job! The sounds are nice too, it makes the game feel more alive. I havn't seen the ending yet, but reading the comments it sounds promising :-) Overall, good game. I had a good time playing it ;-) |
| Oct 7 15:32:51 | 15m 42s | Looper - The Last Mission | ♥ 3 | I like the game very much. The tutorial was solid and the gunshooting had a lot of impact. The graphics look great too, it all fits together very nicely. The only thing I could not figure out for a while is why I died so soon every time. Later I found out the bullet bounces back. Which is a fun machanic, but maybe the player could get feedback why he/she died. I had about 7 runs until I noticed it. I had a lot of fun playing it and think this is impressive for a game made in 48 hours. Good job! |
| Oct 7 15:42:33 | 9m 42s | TANKNAT | ♥ 1 | I'm impressed, the concept feels solid and I like how everything is on one screen. At first it feels a bit slow, but after a while the speed/chaos increases. The graphics are nice and the music fits the theme very well. I had a fun time playing it. |
| Oct 7 15:59:20 | 16m 47s | TIME TO DANCE! | ♥ 2 | This game is so cool! I wanted to try it for the last view hours and finally I had some time :D This is a very unique take on the theme, I like it a lot. The graphics are cute and the music is catchy. The fact that users can interact is a very cool touch! How did you do that? Do you have a database somewhere? I had a good time playing it! |
| Oct 7 16:14:36 | 15m 16s | Loop Train | ♥ 1 | I like your game a lot! The 'juice' is there and the gameplay is very simple and intuitive. The sound effects are nice too, although.. The sound the hero makes sounds a bit weird to me. Like there is a kid inside that armour hehe My highscore was 351 at the first round. I think that is pretty high (-: The graphics are spot on, as you may know I have a special place in my heart for these kind of 8-bit styled graphics. The theme was very much present in this game. Maybe.. a liiitle too much present. The game was fun, but it felt a bit 'too repetitive'. The enimies getting harder and harder is a nice touch to add some chellange Edit: reading the comments I understand where the sounds come from, that is so cool! |
| Oct 7 16:27:42 | 13m 06s | OOO | ♥ 2 | This game is sooo cool! The 'juice' was very present in this one. The music is cool and the graphics are awesome! The controls are very intuitive :) |
| Oct 7 19:05:11 | 2h 37m | Too Hot to Handle | ♥ 3 | Your game attracted me from the first time I saw it. Unfortunately my span of attention is not long enough at the moment to play it in depth. I'm very tired after this long weekend haha What I did see was very impressive. Somehow you pulled it off to make an awesome looking game with nice atmosphere and good fitting sound effects which reminds me a lot of simcity. The fact that you made it that every player has an impact on the next one who plays it is just the coolest idea ever! I wanted to do something similar, but I could not think of ways or game ideas that allowed for that. My Girlfriend acctually finished it when I told her about your game. Here is her feedback: So, the game is awesome! It started with a clear intro, and the concept of 'sharing the earth with the next generation' is quite close to the current discussions around. I like the strategy behind it, though as you probably already know it would help if there are some tips in-game. Like, "There is a firestorm coming! Build firestations (etc)." It is genuily a difficult game, so you would have to like it. And as I said it is awesome: I made it to the end of the game and build the rocket. The music and graphics fit nicely with the game. They are not too difficult and the small color aspects on the chimneys and stuff are nice details. It would help if when you hover over something you build, you remind the player which object is missing currently to keep it stable. |
| Oct 8 20:13:13 | 25h 08m | LoopChan | ♥ 3 | Loved the game, it took me a little while to figure out how to play it. But when I found out I had a lot of fun. The graphics are very cute and the levels are nice and short to keep the attention. Well done! |
| Oct 10 17:35:48 | 45h 22m | A Game Devs Nightmare | ♥ 1 | I made a similar game once, your's is much more intuitive. I liked it a lot, I could not figure out level 5. I like the music and the sound effects add a lot to the game. Graphics could be better in my opinion, some polishing could do wonders :-) I had fun, good job sir! |
| Oct 10 18:08:38 | 32m 50s | Bhoot && Toobh | ♥ 1 | Love the game! The graphics are cute and the controls are simple and intuitive. the tutorial level was nice and quick. I can't believe you made this in 24 hours! The only things I can say is: use sound effects where you can. It adds so much to the game! And I can't really find the theme in this one. Which is not a problem, only the community adds some weight to the theme while rating. I'll won't do that of course :-) Well done sir, it is a fun game to |
| Oct 10 18:26:22 | 17m 44s | Appease The Gods | ♥ 2 | Love your game! It took me a while understanding what was going on, but after 1 time loosing I understood what was going on. Very creative take on the theme, my compliments to you! The controls could have been a more refined, but for this game that is not important. Also, those googly eyes of those judging gods are pretty funny |
| Oct 10 19:17:26 | 51m 04s | Loopin' Gluey | ♥ 1 | Oh cool! A physical game! I'll print it and play it later (: After that I'll rate it. I'm curious |
| Dec 23 15:15:27 | 19291h 58m | Crazy Looper | ♥ 1 | Just played your's, I wish I saw this one back in the day to rate, as it is so much fun to play 😄 |
