| Oct 6 22:10:23 | Beware, space! | ♥ 1 | At one point I couldn't get my mouse back out of the game lol. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. I just started clicking on things, I went mad and the game restarted. To echo the others, art was outstanding | |
| Oct 6 22:21:41 | 11m 18s | The Backseat Gamer | ♥ 2 | I couldn't see well, but I didn't care because I was just playing to hear you speak to me again. You guys got a lot of stuff done, well done |
| Oct 6 22:35:02 | 13m 21s | Maze Service | ♥ 1 | Can I play this on Linux? I really want to play this one but couldn't figure out how |
| Oct 6 23:09:46 | 34m 44s | The Daytona 666 | ♥ 1 | I really liked having health bars on the enemies. I gave this a 5/5 for fun-- thought difficulty was appropriate, I beat the eye monster the first time through. great job, hail satan |
| Oct 6 23:23:23 | 13m 37s | Zog's Hopeless Abyss | ♥ 1 | Really liked it, was super spooky. I would make the green portal things solid columns of light, it looked like fire at first and I was scared to go in! |
| Oct 6 23:31:04 | 7m 41s | Looper Hell | ♥ 1 | The gameplay felt good, felt nice to get in a rhythm and avoid getting hit. Super cool that you've used your own engine, definitely get points for innovation |
| Oct 6 23:38:39 | 7m 35s | Long dungeon | ♥ 1 | Thank you for making an action rpg :) - I didn't think it was too easy - kept dying when I forgot my squad lol - Let me break crates! - Enemies were creepy very fun |
| Oct 6 23:48:18 | 9m 39s | Delivery Boy Forever | ♥ 1 | Great art! Lots accomplished here with so little time. That said, there were a lot of interesting items in each scene that were begging to be clicked on, but you couldn't. Again, took "Game Jam" into account |
| Oct 7 00:18:59 | 30m 41s | Happy Land 4 | ♥ 0 | Art was phenomenal. Gameplay was fun. Curious, was the click to put a beaver down a dev tool, or an intentional game mechanic?? Also, would have liked some early checkpoints Great job! |
| Oct 7 00:33:34 | 14m 35s | The return of Bill | ♥ 3 | Really liked changing outfits, and the water effect was really well done. I agree about the jumping mechanics being slightly off, but overall very fun. Also, don't put in the skip button! you probably worked hard on the cutscene, and it's worth watching. |
| Oct 7 00:47:45 | 14m 11s | Over Unity - A puzzle game | ♥ 1 | Simple, good looking art. Menu screen is very well done. The text is difficult to read, I would either use more contrast or put a solid color box under it. It also got chopped off on the sides, I would make the Canvas in Unity scale with screen size, it's under the Canvas Scaler component. I have a feeling there are some really good puzzles in here, but it was hard to see where objects were in relation to one another. |
| Oct 7 01:17:43 | 29m 58s | Among Stars and Robots | ♥ 2 | Are you a UI/UX designer? Thought the UI was beautiful. The gameplay was good -- I felt like I wanted my choices to have to be locked in so it was more puzzle-y. Overall, this was very impressive for a game jam, I agree that this is almost ready to ship to mobile |
| Oct 7 02:01:06 | 43m 23s | siad (a visual novel) | ♥ 1 | I found myself interested in what was going to happen, and it was funny! I would stay away from political jokes, not because some will disagree (who cares), but because they reeeeeally have to be funny to be passable and "I don't like Trump" just isn't creative. The other jokes were good. Assuming this was all hand-drawn, so high marks for art. I would agree with the comment about not focusing on the saving menu and all that, but I'm assuming that was built into the graphical novel engine you used? |
| Oct 7 02:06:48 | 5m 42s | Ouroboros: The Cursed Hero | ♥ 1 | Good story, thanks, now I know why my knees hurt all the time for no reason -- Decay! |
| Oct 7 02:15:26 | 8m 38s | Bloody Loop | ♥ 1 | The gameplay was fun! On the Hints menu, I would have the button for exiting game say "Exit Game" instead of exit. I clicked it thinking I was exiting the menu, and the game ended, but there is no visual indication of this (unless you open the dev tools :P) All in all, a good job |
| Oct 7 04:03:35 | 1h 48m | Undead Carnival Carnage | ♥ 1 | 5/5 for every category, all of you did superb. When I died, I instantly clicked retry every time |
| Oct 7 05:00:46 | 57m 11s | All A Board | ♥ 2 | Just a little bit of tuning and it's easily one of the top games this jam IMO. Idk what the rules are as this is my first jam, but if you went in and tweaked that one lever for speed I don't know how that could possibly be cheating. If it's against the rules, props for integrity |
| Oct 7 05:41:40 | 40m 54s | Cat | Stealth | Box | ♥ 2 | I liked the models a lot, and has great potential, but desperately needs a little more content. I picked up some bones, died, and the next time just went straight through without a hitch, expecting the next, harder level |
| Oct 7 07:18:32 | 1h 36m | Sir Fishbottom and Also Head's TIME MOB | ♥ 1 | Hilarious, and so much fun. I could only be mad at myself, and then laugh, watching all of my previous incarnations all hurrying to the goal and waiting for someone else to do the job! |
| Oct 7 07:55:42 | 37m 10s | Dungeon Loop | ♥ 0 | Really digging the low poly look, and that you made an rpg. Well done guys |
| Oct 7 08:15:07 | 19m 25s | Quivering | ♥ 1 | The archery felt so satisfying, I would play more levels of this. |
| Oct 7 08:30:44 | 15m 37s | Looper Cooper | ♥ 0 | Beautiful. BTW I wouldn't have finished my first ever game this Jam if it weren't for stumbling across your videos a couple weeks ago |
| Oct 7 09:01:07 | 30m 23s | HONK II | ♥ 1 | Shooting feels amazing, one of the few games I came back to play again. I do agree I want more instructions on switching weapon, running out of machine gun feelsbadman |
| Oct 7 09:28:33 | 27m 26s | Vanishing Woods | ♥ 1 | I thought it was really fun actually once I stopped being lazy and read the controls. My only criticism is that, if you aren't penalized for sprinting (like a gauge or something), you might as well just have me sprinting all the time since that's what I want to do |
| Oct 7 10:04:32 | 35m 59s | a nice place | ♥ 1 | simple and beautiful |
| Oct 7 10:45:12 | 40m 40s | Dragon Loop | ♥ 0 | Why did I keep playing so long after it was easy? Lol, the game is hilarious and sneaky fun |
| Oct 7 22:26:52 | 11h 41m | Hamsta's Paradise | ♥ 2 | Finally found your game! I thought the controls were nice, I don't expect a hamster in a wheel to be able to turn like a Prius, but was pleasantly surprised when I could traverse the gap between two platforms because of the size of the wheel. The modeling was awesome as well, great job guys |
| Oct 8 00:12:59 | 1h 46m | Hammy's Modern Life | ♥ 1 | Awesome pixel art. Great work! |
| Oct 8 01:48:07 | 1h 35m | LoopBots | ♥ 1 | I'm glad I'm getting around to reciprocating for those who reviewed my game. This has been one of my favorite games so far, and it's kind criminal how relatively few ratings it has. I'm sure that will balance out when some of your other ratings cash in for karma. Art - simple but appealing. I found the character interesting, and the loop bots are hilarious looking. I thought the first level was an excellent primer. Simple, but necessary to interact with everything. No, I did not come close to approaching your scores. I worry that people won't do the tutorial, they absolutely should, it's a gem of a game that's really well thought out. |
| Oct 9 00:10:58 | 22h 22m | Knights of the Holy Loop | ♥ 1 | This is my kind of game - cutesy RPG, met the theme perfectly, and looks polished. Not sure if you have custom CSS enabled with your itch.io, but you could potentially set cursor: none !important on the unity canvas. Probably not essential |
| Oct 21 01:34:39 | 289h 23m | Hyper Hamster | ♥ 1 | This was outstanding. Great minds think alike (Though I admit you guys executed better than I did)! My heart was racing as I climbed the speed ladder https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/hamster-dash |
