This is a really cool combat system! I found it easy to progress for the most part, but I think this would make for a very enjoyable fleshed out experience if given a little more time in the development oven. Really great work here!
Nice combat system, graphics are adorable and kept simple. Overall a fun experience.

Awesome little turn based tactial dungeon crawler. I really enjoyed planning out the events happening when encountering an enemy. graphics are awesome I love low poly! music fits well with the game and sound effects really give the game some oomph. Great entry!
The visuals are positively adorable, and the musical aspect to the combat was very interesting, it's so satisfying to create tiny little scores out of your and your enemies attack patterns, very well put together
Really like the combat system and could make for an awesome game out in the market. Well done.

Outstanding concept, unfortunately there were a few instances where the sound desynced for me, and when nobody did anything there was an awkward musical gap
That said, the core concept is AWESOME, when the system was working perfectly it felt really good having the music match up directly to the players actions, super super cool
It is cute but a bit slow, I think the combat system is really innovative. great job
The idea is pretty solid, the execution got some trouble, but the essence is there!
I mean, the combat system is a good idea, but I cant help notice that its not well balanced, being a fight game, I would expect being able to attack at least once per turn, which some times there was just movement options...
The blending of the sounds is harsh, but understandable.
Lighting could have been a bit richer, but it does not break the overall idea, so it is fine.
Overall, I really loved the idea, given the right amount of fine tuning and work it can become a good commercial game on its own :)
Amazing graphics, good sound design and unique gameplay.
Looks good, sounds good, plays good. Tick tick tick. The twist on the turn based game mechanic is where the gold star is at! Great job

Really nice! Those game play mechanics caught me off guard. The art and models are well made and fit the general theme very well. The music was awesome as well. Good job on making all the samples work well together. I played against three bats and got bored a little though, a little more variation would've been nice to keep the player invested. Maybe even some kind of rpg system in between the fights. I think there's a lot of untapped potential here :) Good job!

Thanks a lot for all your nice comments! :)
@seth-tal @duke @decipator we are completely aware of the lack of balancing and depth in the battles and progression. We actually were planning much more about this in the first place but... lack of time unfortunately! :) Maybe we'll work on a post-LD version, more polished and complete! Would you be interested in such a thing?
@3mpty yeah, we had problem synchronising sounds and music because of the sound engine of WebGL... some features available with Unity were not working in WebGL and so we had to patch it to make it kind of work... but indeed it is not perfect ^^' Next time, we'll surely also submit a Windows build or something which should be robust on this side!

@ynk Out of curiosity I wanted to view some of the other work you had done, and I also really enjoyed your Ludum Dare 46 entry. It too, also shows some really nice polish and ingenuity. I would be very interested in a much more polished experience of any game developed by you and your partners.
edit: oh yeah one thing I think you guys should work on in the future is Lighting. Forgot to mention that in my previous comment.

@seth-tal thank you! I am very happy that you enjoy our work :) If we had the opportunity, we would also love to dig deep these ideas the Ludum Dare brought us :) Concerning lighting, we would like to have the time to work on it, but during a LD it is quite difficult to find the time to do so :D unfortunately there has to be some concession...

@ynk ah yes, sorry I realize that during a very brief window of development like during a Ludum Dare I understand lighting is difficult stretch goal to manage. I suppose I mean if you were to continue a project beyond a Game Jam.

Really digging the low poly look, and that you made an rpg. Well done guys
This looks very cute, congrats! (Tbh a bit sad to have to battle the creatures instead of being friend with them haha)
This is a really cool concept! I really like the music triggers linked to the gameplay, the art looks adorable, and I think this could really potentially be expanded into a full game.
As it is however, I felt like the random pick of abilities for the player felt like it was stealing from my own agenda and removed chances for me to strategize. It might have helped to be able to get a forecast of which abilities will be available next turn so that the player can adapt and prepare accordingly? How about saving some of the actions for later? Might lead to interesting trade offs.
Also I felt that the combat's pacing was a bit off. Since music is involved, I'm thinking a timer might help solve some of the sluggishness appearing at times. Also, I think the timeline is too long, would maybe remove a few action slots available (which in turn would reduce the number of actions available to keep the current "choose wisely set up").
Lots of potential there, really like the concept. With a little tweaking and expanding, I would definitely play a dungeon crawler with that gameplay!

I really love it. Nice graphics, and love the interactive music. "Feel good game" - the game. I want to play this game with my goat. Congratulations ! I want the ost !
