Really cool art but very/too hard to became a good manager when all choices are random. I think you should scenarise a bit more the choices by giving personalities to the workers.

Good controls, simple design but difficult to do everything to perfection in a one person project.
Things you have to improuve: - add collider to the asteroids to challenge your moves and avoid the "tactic" to stand on the centrer of the asteroid before break it for loot all the ressources easily. - I think if I had'nt seen your vlogs I could'nt enderstand the role of the right gauge. You should add a text for explain what it is for.
So I found your game too easy and the theme too long to understaning. The incresure of the rental cost should be really more quick to became a real problem!
But good entry for your second JAM anyway!
Lovely art and music. Gameplay harder than I expected but a bit too repetitive. So it's a perfect mini game ;)
