OMG the squelching noise when you move is so gross! :smile: Very fun game - I particularly love the camera movement when you change rooms :heartbeat:
The sound effects, oh god, the sound effects! That squishing sound will haunt me 😆
Really liked the feel of moving the worm character thing - lots of pleasant vibes there.
The look and feel were simple but nicely done, and the sound effects were very effective - possibly too much so! Really enjoyed seeing how everything came together
The gameplay was fun! On the Hints menu, I would have the button for exiting game say "Exit Game" instead of exit. I clicked it thinking I was exiting the menu, and the game ended, but there is no visual indication of this (unless you open the dev tools :P)
All in all, a good job

Not my cup of tea though, I think it lacks polish and I didn't find it very fun to play, lacks juiciness. I liked t he blood trail and FX, they are nice but could have been integrated better. Overall correct sound design, but I am curious, why the blood theme thing for this jam entry? Watch out the buttons in the menu (On HTML5 version at least) overlap the hints :/ The loop theme here is kinda, ok, but I think it could have been exploited better, there isn't really a mechanic expoiting the loop thing, it just felt like different levels with tougher enemies.
Nice power ups and items, they work well.
Overall, it works well, but it's not very original and could have used some more work but he that's a jam !.I mean it's not bad or anything, I don't even know your level, just giving contructive feedback ^^
@kaldrin Thank you so much for the feedback. I agree it's not really original but I worked alone on this and I'm kinda a beginner (been using Unity and coding in C# for 5 months) and I wanted to practice making a roguelike game so I decided to take elements from Isaac and change them to fit the idea of boss getting your abilities. Getting honest feedback is the best way to improve for me so I really appreciate your amazing feedback.
That's got to be the bloodiest game in this entire event. It looks nice and plays well.
Great job on making this! The rules are simple and the movement feels ok. The diversity of power up is nice.
I hated the art style and audio but it seems some people dig it so it's ok!
A few things I noted: - The firing didn't seem to exactly follow my mouse. - The R button to interact was a weird choice. I guess E to interact and Space to use power would feel better. - There was not enough level / monsters diversity to justify so many rooms per loop I think.
