| Apr 21 02:12:33 | Sparky's Joy | ♥ 3 | Simple idea with good execution. The only major shortcoming was that I couldn't tell if it was a natural progression of levels or if they were being selected randomly. I'm pretty sure it was the former but there was nothing in-game to indicate that. | |
| Apr 21 02:24:03 | 11m 30s | Earth 2.0 | ♥ 1 | Looks pretty, but not being able to see the left/right edges of the map makes it unnecessarily difficult. Good execution, though I would spawn the asteroids in farther away (or extend the camera's view distance) and make them despawn behind the camera (sometimes they disappear right next to the ship). The chaotic speed at the end was nice and intense. |
| Apr 21 02:29:21 | 5m 18s | Medieval Messenger | ♥ 1 | Pixel art looks great. Gameplay is almost too easy once you get the timing. Adding more variance when things attack after appearing would help a lot with that. |
| Apr 21 02:38:34 | 9m 13s | Wandering Star | ♥ 1 | Beautiful art. The "doot" sound gets to be a little much over time. A visual indicator of if something is just a little too big for you would be appreciated since there were multiple occasions where I thought I was bigger but ended up getting eaten. The gravity effects were terrific. Overall great execution of a simple concept. |
| Apr 21 02:42:51 | 4m 17s | FROGISLN.ELF | ♥ 1 | The graphics were surprisingly endearing. My only major issue was the camera getting pretty weird around the "bottom" of the circle. |
| Apr 21 02:49:25 | 6m 34s | Relaxing Sarlacc Experience | ♥ 2 | Dude, this game wins the jam for me. At first I was playing for real and like, "meh" but then the beats kicked in and I was like, "bruh..." 10/Chill - Would mellow again. |
| Apr 21 02:58:24 | 8m 59s | Medic! Keep'em Alive | ♥ 1 | I absolutely love the art. The gameplay is solid and the audio really completes the retro feel. Excellent work. |
| Apr 21 03:08:23 | 9m 59s | The Harmless Prison Escape | ♥ 1 | The graphics are beautiful, the concept is fun. My only complaint is the puzzles were all trivially easy but hey, it's a game jam game, just having functional puzzles is a tremendous achievement. |
| Apr 21 06:36:23 | 3h 28m | Mage or Trouble | ♥ 2 | Terrific work on making all this content. More enemies would have been nice, but you know - game jam. Biggest issue was that battles took way too long. Enemies could do about 1.5x more damage and the player should do about 2x more and things would flow much more nicely. |
| Apr 21 08:07:44 | 1h 31m | ADRENA-LINE | ♥ 1 | Excellent design and execution. I don't even have constructive criticism, it's just great. |
| Apr 21 08:27:44 | 20m 00s | Planets wars | ♥ 1 | Simple idea with excellent execution. The variety of enemies really keeps the simple gameplay loop alive here. The explosions looked especially nice, and the music did a great job of not getting in the way of the game. |
| Apr 21 08:51:02 | 23m 18s | HEX ATTACK | ♥ 2 | Very interesting concept. I agree with the other comments about the mouse. I feel like I spent a lot of time chasing down individual enemies. I was hoping there would be more large chunks of enemies like in the screenshot but that never happened. More activity on the board would be a massive improvement - make you actually think about which unit to sacrifice, etc. |
| Apr 21 17:12:52 | 8h 21m | Keep IT alive | ♥ 1 | Excellent work, especially for a game jam. I had some issues mostly having to do with not knowing how things worked, but that was all on my end (granted, more of a tutorial either in or out of game would have been appreciated). |
| Apr 21 18:50:07 | 1h 37m | The Sword of Saturn | ♥ 2 | The enemy types really add some needed variety to this game, and the boss fights were fun and challenging. Melee combat is the only thing that could really use some tightening up here though. Overall great job! |
| Apr 21 19:38:04 | 47m 57s | Open Fire! | ♥ 3 | Graphics are wonderful. Gameplay is simple but well executed, although a bit boring. Maybe adding more constraints on when buttons should be pressed/how many times would help? |
| Apr 21 19:49:43 | 11m 39s | A Life Learned | ♥ 1 | Very interesting concept. Without the hints on losing I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to win, which was very helpful. Nice work. |
| Apr 22 01:25:43 | 5h 36m | tiriplici | ♥ 2 | Very unique input controls, and a fun visual style. The game was right at the perfect level of challenging where it wasn't easy but wasn't frustrating either. My only complaint is the audio gets pretty repetitive. |
| Apr 22 01:38:11 | 12m 28s | Tablet Force | ♥ 2 | I love the visual style, and the gameplay was really good. It was a little hard to dodge the enemy shots sometimes but I'm not really sure what I would do differently there. There was no reason not to use the hack beam even though it had a greater cost to it. Maybe if you had to charge each shot and it took two hits to disable them, where the regular attack was just one? |
| Apr 22 02:06:44 | 28m 33s | "IT" dies | ♥ 3 | Very interesting concept. I liked the conflict in priorities between completing each order and defending the gate. The art was terrific as well. Great job! |
