Wow this is really well-done. I played a bunch of times, because as I saw problems arise I wanted to go back and start over. I love the way the coffee/fruit needs are not quite in balance, and natural imbalances build up until you are looking at a convey clogged with coffee and devs waiting on fruit.

The graphics are very nice, the mood of the space is enjoyable (the tune helps you a lot there, I know you didn't make it but well-chosen). The controls are good but a bit shy of great imo - I would have wished for a few conveniences such as rotating w/ mousewheel, and an easier way to delete/overwrite.

The theme twist is clever and the overall package comes together into a cohesive entry. Nice work!

i love Factorio, so this inspiring; unfortunately i couldn't figure out how to get it working well. some blocks, like the 1:1 splitter, do not appear to work and cannot be deleted once placed. i liked the graphics and the atmosphere, good attempt!

Very well done, loved it!, love the art, the sounds, very nicely done!

leniwabula 2020-04-21 08:42

@pkenney @hgouveia Thanks for comments!

@euix Thanks for feedback. We've reproduced the splitter issue (it happens only on built version of the game..) Version with bugfix should be uploaded shortly, should you want to try playing again :)

Amazing work

quix 2020-04-21 10:20

I loved it but it was laggy :)

frozen-spirit 2020-04-21 12:37

A fun take on the theme. It was cool see all the items move across the screen. My game did crash unfortunately while I was play one time but apartt from that it was a super satisfying factory style game.

Edit: turns out the game crashed for me just because of an incompadibilty issue, thats all.

petitpois 2020-04-21 12:59

Love the game, great fun. would have been nice to have a little tutorial or at least a diagram for all controls.

kebabuturka 2020-04-21 14:31

@petitpois when you press escape, there is "Help" button ;)

lerg 2020-04-21 14:51

Very nice concept, heh. More coffee!

pusheeneiro 2020-04-21 16:46

Wow, very nice gameplay and great graphics, and it's all in 72h.

rein 2020-04-21 17:12

Excellent work, especially for a game jam. I had some issues mostly having to do with not knowing how things worked, but that was all on my end (granted, more of a tutorial either in or out of game would have been appreciated).

leniwabula 2020-04-21 17:21

@rein Thanks for the kind words :) Tutorial was on our TODO list. Sadly we never reached that part of our TODO list in the allotted time :P

Quite ambitious, and very impressive how far it got! Unfortunately it's a few pieces short of a complete system it feels like. Apart from needing to figure out that the programmers take/put stuff from conveyor belts automatically (not needing to feed it straight into the cubicle) it didn't take too long to get to a point where I didn't feel like I could optimise further apart from duplicating my entire factory.

Definitely a good starting point if you want to push this game further, although in that case you'd need a unique hook to stand out above the heads of similar games.

Sorry if this is coming across as negative; I am genuinely impressed by this given the timeframe it was made in.

leniwabula 2020-04-21 20:37

@ramperkash Thank you for your feedback - it didn't come across as negative at all!

krammetje 2020-04-22 12:37

It looks really good. I like the mechanic and it's pretty fun to play.

Adding some variety to the resources could make this really fun to create huge contraptions.

Overall a solid entry.

noamraz 2020-04-22 14:01

Cool!

nithman 2020-04-22 20:37

Great Game, took me a while to figure thing out but the video helped a lot(i copyed the design in the video  ). Nice music but it sounded a light glitchy (was using Webgl) i saw this in the description so its not that big of an issue. Also would love to have maybe a turning conveyer belt because the switching diretions seemed strange

tw00 2020-04-23 18:22

Really nice game! After a while it became a little slow (HTML version), but still a great game. I liked it a lot.

cadstor 2020-04-23 19:19

Nice Game! The Overall is interesting, the graphics are amazing and the music and SFX, please. I like a lot!

Fun lil factorio spin off style, great work!

soldierbear 2020-04-28 17:29

wow that is actually very impressive for a ludum dare game. I love the general look and feel of the game. Great submission!

winslow 2020-05-02 07:00

Absolutely loved this game!

Initially I failed quite a bit as I built out conveyor belts and didn't realize the programmers could pull off the conveyor belts from the side (potentially due to the IN/OUT arrows at the mouth of the programmer cubicle. Then I didn't have enough resources to finish off the data center. A nice feature could be to get some resources back for when you delete an existing building/item to avoid the issue when you're just learning.

Again awesome game really enjoyed it!

Recorded my play through here: https://youtu.be/qKSLnGxSef8

leniwabula 2020-05-02 17:12

@winslow Thanks for the recorder playthrough! It's always great to see someone actually playing the game. Regarding your initial failure - yeah, we really should have found some time to create a proper tutorial - it's just so hard to do in in alloted time :/

szupinek 2020-05-03 11:41

Nice concept! I only used the basic conveyor and the code one. For rest, sadly, I didn't found much use (maybe because I haven't played it long enough). Overall solid entry, fun to play and figure out. Additional plus for the graphics ;)
