| Apr 27 03:38:15 | Survivor | ♥ 3 | Hi Hagge! I tried to play your game live on my channel but for some reason it broke the stream. I will try it again today without audience and give you a rating when I've finished. What I've seen so far, the balancing of resources is a nice touch, the hardest part for me was trying to find my way back to the zone where I could sell 😅 | |
| Apr 27 03:39:51 | 1m 36s | Don't Touch the Button | ♥ 3 | That was a very surprising and fun experience, loved the voice acting (thanks for the subtitles!) I never knew where the game would take me and it's great when that happens. Here's the video of my playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs |
| Apr 27 03:42:28 | 2m 37s | Symbiosis | ♥ 2 | Very good game! Loved the strategic aspect of it and graphics and mood were super nice. It just felt that once I had my winning strategy I didn't have to change it up, maybe another enemy type would have helped? But then again, it's a game jam and getting a game done in that short amount of time is already an achievement! Here's the video of my playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs |
| Apr 27 03:43:52 | 1m 24s | Silly Fluffy Bunny | ♥ 1 | Another great action-puzzler from you, Jiri. I expected nothing less and wasn't disappointed at all. Love the concept and the level design, you had me screaming at the screen again, not because the game was unfair, but because I was incapable of multi tasking. Here's the video of my playthrough again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs |
| Apr 27 03:46:23 | 2m 31s | Journey to the center of the body | ♥ 1 | I think that it's wonderful that you participated in Ludum Dare and brought your perspective as biologists to the table and I hope it won't be the last game you develop! I was a little bit confused at first because I was more inclined to pick up the yellow half-circles because they had such cute faces! If you're curious how things went for me, here's the video with my playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs |
| Apr 27 03:49:47 | 3m 24s | TankMan Phil | ♥ 2 | I got the same T-shirt, what a funny coincidence! As you have witnessed, I enjoyed the Missile Command throwback quite a lot, it felt like a "Missile Command II" could have been with scrolling and a moving target to protect. I enjoyed the additional challenge with the toxic drones in the final confrontation and was very lucky to have "it" survive on my first attempt. Here's again the video with my playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs The victory fanfare still makes me chuckle! |
| Apr 27 03:52:03 | 2m 16s | RushBomb | ♥ 1 | First: Congrats on coding a game in your own engine! As you've seen in the stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs ) I had some troubles with the HTTP level, probably because I zoomed into my console too much and broke something. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the hacker-y atmosphere and the fact that I was playing a game in a bloody console window!! |
| Apr 27 03:55:24 | 3m 21s | Area 64 | ♥ 1 | That was surprisingly big for a text adventure written in such a short timeframe! The writing was very good and together with the music it created a sense of place rather easily in my imagination as I was playing it. I just wish that it would have been possible to switch off the torch when I wouldn't need it anymore but having the inventory in the sidebar was genius! I enjoyed it very much, although I was save-scumming a lot and had to start over once 😅 Here's the video with my playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs |
| Apr 27 03:59:09 | 3m 45s | Eggs With Legs | ♥ 2 | Wow, what an insane amount of graphical assets in such a short time! I really enjoyed the look of it all and once I figured out what the game wanted of me and how to get a gun mounted, things started to click together. Maybe start the player with a basket and a gun mounted already because once I figured out what I was looking at in the shop screen everything made sense. I would have also like the projectiles to be a little bigger at times. 😅 Here's the video with my playthrough, towards the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2FekepgpMs PS: I just realized that the video on YouTube is still only 2 hrs long, because I streamed for longer than that. Please check back in a couple of hours, then it should work! |
| May 11 01:13:31 | 333h 14m | The Diamond-Flowered Orchid | ♥ 1 | You already witnessed me chasing after Henry and the unicorn, and competently picking the leeches off my legs without even looking, still here it is, last week's stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:15:28 | 1m 57s | Seeds of Hope: The Last Stand | ♥ 2 | First thing I noticed was how much it looked like a more beautiful FTL! But then I kinda fumbled with prioritizing and keeping my cloned crew waiting at the water cooler ;) Here's my stream featuring the game on last week's stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:17:34 | 2m 06s | LAMPCHASERS | ♥ 1 | A very moody and very beautiful entry! I think I encountered a bug with my first attempt as I skipped over a lot of the tutorial, apparently and thus was a bit lost. Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:24:28 | 6m 54s | The Unicorn and the need for coffee..! | ♥ 1 | You already saw me playing your game but finally I played it again to see all the other endings. Again, I feel so honored to see myself in a game and the unicorn pooping coffee beans remains as adorable as the first time! And no, I don't think it's funny to blow up unicorns! 😥 At least I didn't fall asleep... FOREVER! Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:26:15 | 1m 47s | Balloon Rush | ♥ 2 | A very elegant mechanic, simple yet with so many different applications. Gameplay reminded me a lot of The Incredible Machine, just trying things over and over with small adjustments. I could definitely see this as a mobile game 😊 Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:29:10 | 2m 55s | Tears of Coffee | ♥ 2 | Very nice art and fitting music, and thanks for the small Swedish course right at the top! I had fun with playing barista for a change but I think I had an unfair advantage as I was playing the game full screen in UHD and thus never had to scroll between customer's order and fulfilling it, otherwise I wouldn't have lasted long. Good game! Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw PS: I really miss going to the café! ☕ |
| May 11 01:30:53 | 1m 43s | Have Mercy | ♥ 1 | Very cool idea and wonderful execution. Loved the art very much and the little action bar demanded a bit of skill as well, that's a very clever touch. Took me a bit to figure out that the shortest region corresponded to the smaller hit-values but it totally makes sense. Well done! Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:33:23 | 2m 30s | Kaoamaru Kaiju | ♥ 1 | Instant PS1 nostalgia from seeing those huge unfiltered texels! <3 Sadly it wasn't much of a game, but I definitely got a lot of Silent Hill vibes from the presentation, and a little Final Fantasy from the huge cannon. As you said, you ran out of time of making a game out of it, but what's there is icryptic and yet intriguing :) Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:35:35 | 2m 12s | Conservation Inc. | ♥ 1 | Once I got the hang of it, I felt like I knew what I was doing ... well almost ;) I think was incredibly lucky with my final playthrough and I could enjoy all the illustrations of the various disasters, such as the dinos orderly proceeding into the shelter ;) Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:38:44 | 3m 09s | Spring Tree | ♥ 1 | You already saw me play it but I still want to comment here as well: It's a very fun game with clear mechanics and strong arcade vibes (and you kno9w how much I enjoy those) and thankfully not too hard for me. The jumping felt a little too floaty for my taste but that's highly subjective. Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:41:26 | 2m 42s | Operations : KIA | ♥ 0 | You already witnessed me on the stream playing your game (thanks for dropping by!) but I thought I write you some lines here as well. Like I said, it's not the most original in terms of mechanics but I liked how strong it was in terms of characterization and humor, especially how the game explains away the lack of levels 😅 Here's my stream from last week featuring the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUmP-nl1pVw |
| May 11 01:44:11 | 2m 45s | Keep Reputation Alive | ♥ 0 | Very fun puzzle game! I really liked that it was not as unforgiving as so many other puzzlers where one wrong turn would lead to a dead end and you'd have to reset the level. So being able to revisit already colored tiles was very generous :) The only thing I wish for is a level select! Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:46:24 | 2m 13s | Feed the Machine | ♥ 2 | Another resource management game that was both far too complex and too stressful for me. I struggled hard with it because there was so much to look out for and to do and the game wasn't throwing me any bones at all and I constantly felt lost. I feel that it could need a bit of polishing and especially player guidance in some easier levels first 😅 Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:48:51 | 2m 27s | The Last Guardian | ♥ 2 | Again wonderful art style and a very nice game. I felt that the clouds could move a little faster and the first time I played it and not instantly focused on growing friends (wonderful way of describing it, btw!) really felt that the game was overly punishing. Also enjoyed the variety in enemy design and behavior. :) Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:53:08 | 4m 17s | Ark Survive | ♥ 2 | Very funny game and wonderful UI design. It reminded me a lot of Reigns (swipe left or right to rule a kingdom!) with small decisions quickly snowballing into something uncontrollable. I felt that the game was a little too punishing and didn't leave me any other options than to memorize the optimal path and try again but at least I learned something: "Mess with the honk and you get the bonk". Well that and that god loves trolling for the lulz. Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:55:04 | 1m 56s | Burn to Love | ♥ 0 | Wonderful mood and visual design. I really with that the game were longer and that there would be more interaction between the two characters. Only problem I had with it was that jumping felt extremely floaty but the rest of the game made up for it. Very nice game! Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:56:39 | 1m 35s | Signal Surfer | ♥ 1 | Strong Canabalt vibes right off the top but this game is even faster! I enjoyed the simple and streamlined mechanics quite a bit although it took me a couple of tries to finally be transmitted, so I hope I wasn't a crucial data packet. Only thing that felt a bit unforgiving was the bird placement sometimes... Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 01:58:57 | 2m 18s | Last Light | ♥ 0 | Very intriguing style and very moody, felt a bit like Limbo. Sadly, I didn't manage to get far as the second set of monsters attacking you was impossible to dodge and when I ended up wedged between them I had absolutely no chance so that felt a bit cheap. Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 02:04:02 | 5m 05s | Medic! | ♥ 1 | How many brave Jameses had to bleed to death as I was stuck on the entrance to sick bay? How many times has pushed me one of the Jameses out of my cover just so they could get shout? Just how many James Ryans are there anyway?! ;) I very much enjoyed the stylish pixel art with a apt palette and the mechanics but soon just focused on the most promising victims. I wish it would be possible to have some kind of medic for my medic and to heal after every other wave or so, but maybe I am just too easy a target ;) Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 02:07:08 | 3m 06s | Scrambl'd | ♥ 2 | Now this is an expertly crafted piece of GameBoy software. Very clear and elegant mechanics, the controls feel super responsive and the presentation is a treat. I really wish that this game would've come out on GameBoy when I was a kid because it looks and plays like a full-fledged GameBoy original from the golden era. Amazing job! 👏 Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 02:09:54 | 2m 46s | Pump It | ♥ 3 | It starts off way too easy ... until it becomes the complete opposite! I found this game a bit too unforgiving as when I made a mistake once and lose my rhythm, things would escalate too quickly and my patient would die. I think I subconsciously tried to match the rhythm of the music (very nice chiptune, btw!) and this didn't work out. Oh, also your volume levels are all over the place and casued me quite some discomfort: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
| May 11 02:12:35 | 2m 41s | Another f****ng escort mission | ♥ 1 | First: I am so sorry for my stereotypical ""French accent"" in my stream. Second: At least I wasn't alone with that. Really liked the humor and hated the spoiled brat, my favorite line was that zombies only go after brains ;) I had a bit of problem with the controls but that's probalby because I am not used to top-down sword-fighting games. And boy, the kid really got on my nerves! Here's my latest stream featuring the game, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP012VKTPV8 |
