Oct 8 01:13:11 Oracle Pine ♥ 2 Absolutely amazing. Stunning. Without a doubt one of the best games I've played for this jam. The music, the mood, the story, the graphics: they were all on point!!
Oct 8 01:19:06 5m 55s VOID ♥ 1 This is gorgeous!! Spectacular for 72 hours! I love the models, hex grid, AI, particle effects. It's so polished for a jam game!
Oct 8 01:33:10 14m 04s Nothing to Say ♥ 3 Super innovative! Always cool to see obscure mechanics that affect the narrative!
Oct 8 01:52:05 18m 55s The Game of Mao ♥ 1 Everything felt bouncy and fun in all the best ways. Good animation, clever mechanics, and just all around a good time.
Oct 8 02:01:45 9m 40s Tale of the Toad King ♥ 2 It's so weird and cute and amazing. The voice acting was hilarious. Very cohesive, and well thought out world.
Oct 8 02:12:26 10m 41s Mergem ♥ 1 Super cool concept. Love the UI animations and art. I enjoyed mixing things together and seeing new things emerge.
Oct 8 02:50:27 38m 01s The Life Spirit ♥ 1 As someone who also tried (and failed) attempting a hexagonal grid for a different game jam, I'm super impressed! Neat concept too, haven't seen something quite like this before.
Oct 8 03:13:52 23m 25s Draw Your Own Adventure! ♥ 3 This game is spectacular!! What a masterpiece! So much thought was put into every part, from the hands moving, to the outline of drawings on the sticks, to all the voice acting. Really well put together and we need more games like this! I haven't seen anything like this before!
Oct 8 17:02:20 13h 48m BitterSweet ♥ 0 I'm assuming this was an asset flip, so it's hard to tell what you did and didn't do. But I'll assume you at least did the level design and the candy mechanics. In terms of level design, I think it's all laid out very thoughtfully. Definitely conducive to a non-linear experience, but knowing generally areas with light are where enemies are. It was fun to go off the road and find a graveyard with cute particle effects. In terms of the candy mechanic I didn't quite understand it. I mostly was just hitting enemies until I eventually died. Also the UI for both the candy and health is pretty bare bones. If this is your first time using Unity and wanted to throw together assets to make a cohesive game, I think you did a great job!
Oct 8 17:29:53 27m 33s Seedlings ♥ 0 You had me at "Let go of your inner demons by focusing on your inner garden". This game was so peaceful and calming, but also so innovative! I haven't seen a wind mechanic used like this before, and for a gardening game of all things! Also very pleasantly surprised that the wind particles actually change directions based on your gusts. Super cute art, cohesive, and perfect for this jam! Bravo!
Oct 8 18:16:53 47m 00s TidePool ♥ 2 Spectacular art direction, and such a cool player controller. This game fits the theme so well, has such a great message, and everything about it is so cute. With a bit more polish I could definitely see this being shippable. Great Job!
Oct 8 18:44:21 27m 28s Soundmarine ♥ 0 Big wow! This game is dripping with vibes and good times. Amazing art, shaders, particles, and overall aesthetic. Loved exploring through this floating island paradise with good music growing along the way. Easily in my top 5 favs for this jam!!
Oct 8 18:55:47 11m 26s HEARTSCAPE ♥ 2 Easily one of the best games I've played for this jam. You should really build this into a full game! It would be insanely cool as a multiplayer game too. So cohesive, great art, simple concept but done amazingly. This game really could go places!
Oct 8 19:55:33 59m 46s Color me Blind ♥ 2 Super neat idea! I've never seen mechanics like this before, and it was so peaceful and exciting to explore and bring life to this world. Great character design and animation too! Good job!
Oct 9 05:04:07 9h 08m Negation ♥ 2 This is actually the best game of this jam. You did it. Congrats. The debate is over. No need to wait for results in 20 days @ludumdare we already found the best game.
Oct 9 19:21:46 14h 17m The Song of Calirum ♥ 2 This game is breathtaking! For a jam game, you practically made a fully releasable game you could ship. This game reminds me a lot of Cultist Simulator, but more streamlined and approachable. After playing it three times I understood what each of the resources did, and certain events I need to plan for. While a bit repetitive at the beginning, there was enough variation to make each play-through meaningful and different. Great job!
Oct 9 19:40:26 18m 40s Necrofenser Hero ♥ 3 Cool style. Really appreciate voxel art games getting more popular.
Oct 9 20:17:37 37m 11s Nobody's Journey ♥ 1 Super neat game. Familiar aesthetic, but innovative mechanics. It was a little hard to follow at times, but I think I got the hang of it. I won on my first play-through.
Oct 9 20:25:49 8m 12s The Persistent Thief ♥ 1 Love the pixel aesthetic. Cool level design. Super impressive that you had a whole tutorial. My only complaint is that there are way too many buttons to remember. Very impressive for a compo.
Oct 9 20:37:20 11m 31s Little Guardian ♥ 1 Super neat game. Boss fighters are so cool, and the round world really added dimension to it. A platformer where you shoot things is a little overdone, but yours definitely separates itself from the rest. Great art, and great music.
Oct 9 21:06:18 28m 58s little BEETLE bottle BATTLE ♥ 0 Awesome concept! Usually I'm not too into Match 3 games, but I love the strategy and resource management aspects. It really married 2 genres together in the best ways. I wish the second phase was a little longer because I liked that more than the match 3 phase of the game, but all in all, great job!
Oct 9 21:27:39 21m 21s Ritual ♥ 1 Super moody. Love what you did with the snow on the trees. The warmth mechanic was clever too, made moving around a bit more stressful. I like that you made item descriptions important. Demon ritual games are awesome and we need more of them!
Oct 9 21:49:31 21m 52s Palely ♥ 2 This game is fantastic! Super innovative and exciting to make new words. The art style is gorgeous as well. Outstanding job!
Oct 9 22:17:10 27m 39s Return The Stars ♥ 1 This game is gorgeous! The concept was simple enough to understand without needing any instructions. And the music and audio really added to the mood. You took something pretty simple, and added so much juice to it to really make dangerous moments feel stressful, and the safe center to feel comforting. I liked that it was non-linear, but I will admit at first I went to the hardest section and died very quickly. All in all, bravo! Super juicy game!
