| Dec 3 03:59:39 | Keyboard Twister | ♥ 1 | this is one of the cleverest things I've seen in a long time and it is executed SO well. GO you. | |
| Dec 3 04:02:50 | 3m 11s | Behead | ♥ 1 | This is super fun, juicy, and well executed. I loved all the death sounds. so many |
| Dec 3 04:23:03 | 20m 13s | Bloop Bloop! | ♥ 1 | i was a little confused but figured it out after a bit. It was so cute though! never found primitve spheres so adorable before wow :) |
| Dec 3 04:40:47 | 17m 44s | The One You Feed | ♥ 1 | that was super creepy. I think it'simpressive how concisely you executed on the concept, and how painless you made going back and forth between scenes. it was a good transition, too! also the long......... ellipses...................... before the cat part added a self awareness to the action that saved it completely from being too predictable to be interesting. 10/10 |
| Dec 3 04:48:59 | 8m 12s | Defuse | ♥ 1 | aside from not having confirmation when a module is done, this is REALLY well done. The cleverest use of the theme I've seen so far. 10/10 |
| Dec 4 01:12:06 | 20h 23m | Save the little ones | ♥ 1 | super cute character and great platforming scenarios! :C i didn't bring enough antidotes |
| Dec 4 01:15:32 | 3m 26s | The Boat is Sinking | ♥ 2 | I didn't have anyone to play it with, so my left hand one and I'm sour about it. Awesome visuals and sounds, and a good menu. great job! |
| Dec 4 01:24:41 | 9m 09s | Ludum Dare Simulator | ♥ 0 | This is awesome! the game goes far behind the initial joke of making a ludum dare in a ludum dare game, and introduces an interesting puzzle that made me excited for the fictional game i was making. I favored decorative and extra elements over actual gameplay and got a bad score. Also, the generated comments are hilarious. Great job. |
| Dec 4 01:30:49 | 6m 08s | Omelettes | ♥ 1 | Very fun concept and great level designs. Level 4 was super interesting; had me going ooOOOOh and then reversing a bit a few times. Only thing is that i found it very hard to tell what the heights the blocks were |
| Dec 4 01:42:34 | 11m 45s | Hostile Takeover | ♥ 1 | holy s__ this is so rad. amazing sound and art and humor. Elon Skeevehusk turning into a mintoaur was 👌 |
| Dec 4 01:53:46 | 11m 12s | For You | ♥ 1 | Hey that was very good!I became convinced that my siblings were destined to die (because of the theme) and thought very hard about how to keep them alive when i was given decisions. SUPER relieved that everyone made it. |
| Dec 4 01:58:02 | 4m 16s | ScreenCrifice | ♥ 1 | I'm not sure if i was successfully getting pixels back, but i enjoyed trying! cool concept, really well-done screen effect, and fun character art. gj! |
| Dec 4 02:26:51 | 28m 49s | The Vault | ♥ 1 | I got stuck, couldn't figure out the code for the safe and wasn't able to interact with anything else. I tried all the dates in the notebook, the date of the case of the man with a hole in his brain, evene Margritte's birth and death years and the date of his painting 'Decalcomania'. Despite that i didn't finish the game, though. i REALLY love this. awesome work. Like the person above said, this has got a lot of soul and love for game dev/storytelling in it. Really creative idea to have blocked dialogue options, just like the turn Alice couldn't make while driving in 2036.great job. |
| Dec 4 02:33:44 | 6m 53s | Plane accordingly | ♥ 0 | link doesn't work but i'll give 4 stars in humor because the title is a great pun |
| Dec 4 02:37:37 | 3m 53s | Sealed | ♥ 2 | Cute characters! Very nice particle effect when hitting slimes. The Giant Slime boss killed me instantly, but i won't hold it against him, i was trespassing in his house |
| Dec 4 02:54:42 | 17m 05s | Alms Crown | ♥ 1 | I got stuck on level 5 but it was super interesting and i LOVE the style. this reminds me of some games in this vein ive played before, limited movement creating difficult spatial puzzles, esp. steven's sausage roll, but I haven't seen any with the space limited in quite this way, and that made this very intriguing! great sound and art 10/10 |
| Dec 4 03:06:40 | 11m 58s | Head Over Hooves: My Heart Bleats For You | ♥ 4 | i couldn't goat the game to continue after the third time in the field but boy do i feel charmed and into goats right now! this is a TON of polish for the amount of time oyu had. Way to go! |
| Dec 4 03:28:33 | 21m 53s | Sacrificial Wool | ♥ 3 | Phenomenal submission! Polished as all get out. The mechanic was clever and really well executed, and all the graphics were stylish and 👌 the subtext in each of the options items were funny. 10/10 |
| Dec 4 03:34:55 | 6m 22s | Vitality! | ♥ 1 | That was a lot of fun! very smooth controls and great visuals. NOT ENOUGH BLOOM jk there was lots of bloom and it worked great. I felt like my aim was just a little off from where i was pointing, but it was easy to adjust to. Great job! |
| Dec 4 03:53:57 | 19m 02s | Brownie Cove Cancelled | ♥ 2 | this lighting, archtitecture, audio, _sense of humor(!!!)_, mood, detail, the part with the smoky room and the scattered clocks, the stained glass staring at a plane that will never leave, the creepy stocks in the corner, the faces of the characters, and everything else... really really amazing and full of personality. I admire this game. it is a weird and unforgettable thing that I'm gonna keep referencing in concept and design conversations for a long time and this is the kind of gem that makes me love games. great job |
| Dec 5 00:17:10 | 20h 23m | TAMUTU | ♥ 1 | Amazing job! it felt really good and had a lot of *awesome* animation and sounds in it. Loved the music a lot too. I think you nailed it with the mood and i especially loved the timing of the Happy/Grim theme flashes. This is also an impressive amount of art assets for compo! So impressed! |
| Dec 5 00:32:14 | 15m 04s | Gossip | ♥ 0 | [Capture.JPG](///raw/f55/e1/z/1ef08.jpg) relatablepost.jpg! |
| Dec 5 04:10:28 | 3h 38m | Omnibar | ♥ 1 | These are awesome graphics and a lot of functionality for such a small filesize. What cool limitation and you did great with it. I loved the (pretty) screenspace reflection pool. +5 points for adding spectator mode. great job! |
| Dec 5 04:26:01 | 15m 33s | Offerlings | ♥ 1 | Wonderful audio and art! super well done, and so polished. Only complaint - I didn't realize i had opened the game yet because i had so many LD tabs open, and i kept hearing the offerling go "woooOOOahh" every ten-ish seconds and i was SO SURE i had got funny virus from one of the games i downloaded.. so i was super mad at your game when i started it. i warmed up to it though :D |
| Dec 5 04:41:21 | 15m 20s | F R I E N D G U N | ♥ 1 | Hey this is so wonderful and memorable and i'm gonna go make noise about it to other people and reference it when i talk about game jams ok bye |
| Dec 8 15:02:36 | 82h 21m | Gift of Life | ♥ 0 | The health pickups didn't work for me, so i was never able to summon more than 1 ally, and it seems like the enemy spawns wait for you to summon another, so the game stops for me. Great idea, aesthetic, and control, though! |
| Dec 8 15:08:34 | 5m 58s | The Chosen Sheep | ♥ 2 | Hey that was great! excellent graphics and (o.o) nice grass, nice stylistic choice to guide the sheep with a trail of blood. The game's rules were intuitive and it was a lot of fun. I think the black sheep are a little to fast at the end to feasibly keep up with the impatience of the gods, but i didn't mind losing when i saw the ending. good job! |
| Dec 8 15:22:10 | 13m 36s | Devilman Tossbaby | ♥ 3 | That was a lot of fun! i got into a groove when i realized you can grab bodies from far away with the ranged spell. I never used the AoE spell, though. I think the timer might be too short to encourage the player to leave the small circle around their blood-pit, even though there's a thick crowd of enemies waiting northways on the map. |
| Dec 8 15:39:09 | 16m 59s | Knight Soul Redemption | ♥ 1 | That was a pretty fun! I didn't find that i never took long enough to sacrifice more than the free (meat chunks?)in the beginning, so the sacrifice didn't real become a major part of the gameplay. However, the visual style, audio, and combat were all very enjoyable. It makes me wonder why there aren't more top-down melee dungeon crawlers that i know about 🤔 good job! |
| Dec 8 15:53:03 | 13m 54s | Volcanic Ritual | ♥ 0 | When i run the executable i get the "choose a person to sacrifice" message but i am unable to do anything, no buttons or clicks provide input. D: |
| Dec 8 16:00:33 | 7m 30s | Glow It Alone | ♥ 2 | I made a lot fewer sacrifices than i expected to! Fun game and lovely graphics + good sound and controls. I think the player should have a little extra control in the area, as it's sometimes difficult to land on an old body in the lava and i ended up spending two bodies on both of the first two lava pits. |
| Dec 8 16:09:21 | 8m 48s | Sacrifice | ♥ 0 | Even with the contols in the image you posted above, I'm not able to move my character. (though he does point int he direction that i press WASD). GREAT sword though |
| Dec 8 20:53:27 | 4h 44m | Bow-wow Before God | ♥ 1 | i was very confused for a bit but managed to get to a place where i could keep the world alive and the pup god happy! never figured out the shop though. I just clicked buttons until the god was happy. i LOVE this concept for user interface, especially in that making it spatial forces you to commit time to traversing it, and causes you to neglect one aspect while addressing another. Cool game! |
| Dec 8 21:13:40 | 20m 13s | Birds in Space | ♥ 0 | This game feels pretty good, especially for a jam game, where moving doesn't always feel so good haha. Very chill vibe and great visuals. I thought it was a little too easy; I didn't feel any pressure to upgrade anything but Boost, and i only hit 1 rock when it loaded inches in front of me while boosting. I had fun though, and happily made it all the way to the end :) |
