| Dec 4 18:23:57 | Until there were none | ♥ 1 | Pretty cool concept here. I like how many different powers are available, which is not something usually seen in Jam games. I wish there was a little bit more to the sound effects, but I understand how that can be a compromised area during the short time we have to develop the games. Nice presentation, too. I liked how the Sorcerer reminded me of Final Fantasy's Fighter. Good job! | |
| Dec 4 18:36:25 | 12m 28s | Incaya | ♥ 0 | This game looks so pretty. I thought it was a little hard to understand what exactly had to be done. I could send my villagers to get grain, then use the grain to manufacture more villagers, but other than that, I couldn't get very far. I think some written instructions and names to the buttons would've helped. |
| Dec 4 18:44:34 | 8m 09s | Morbid adventurer | ♥ 1 | I don't usually play multiplayer games, but this is a concept I can really get behind. Playing a dungeon explored by many, in hopes of being the first to find the secret treasure, that's a great concept. COngrats! |
| Dec 4 18:53:53 | 9m 19s | Dance Dance SACRIFICES | ♥ 4 | Cool art style. And just HOW MANY PEOPLE di we kill here??? haha A dancing game really should have some music, though. It just feels off, not having any music at all like this. |
| Dec 4 19:07:59 | 14m 06s | Silvercliff Killings | ♥ 2 | This is really impressive looking. Great presentation. Great mood. I liked how the simple characters made me care about them. I didn't want the husband and wife to be killed and separated from wach other. However, once I figured out how to spot the killer, it became easy. Still, a great entry for a jam! Oh, and I got a bug where a character's name didn't appear, only the tag for his name {personFullName}. |
| Dec 4 19:17:22 | 9m 23s | The Forgotten Four | ♥ 1 | Nice, Darkest Dungeon-esque proposal here. I'd advise in using sans-serif, less curly fonts, as they're easier to read :) |
| Dec 4 19:25:51 | 8m 29s | The WeeZard | ♥ 2 | This game looks so good. SO GOOD. I also really liked the sound, the character designs, all of it's great. However, the mana/ammunition was a problem. Sometimes you kill the first 3 enemies, they don't drop any mana, and then your hands are tied to your and you can't cast any spells, forcing you to restart. I didn't make it very far, so I also didn't see where the theme connects to the game. Other than that, great entry! |
| Dec 4 19:39:33 | 13m 42s | The Pizza Lord | ♥ 1 | I like the silly premisse :) I think the text on the narration at the start could have a clearer and larger font to make it easier to read. Having it centered on the screen would look better too. I got a little confused at the start, when he asks for something cold. I immediately went to the fridge and spent some time trying to open it. |
| Dec 4 19:45:36 | 6m 03s | One Humble Caravan | ♥ 1 | I think the interface got a little confusing... maybe if the game had a larger screen, it would be easier to understand what's going on. I liked the random events such as bandits attacking. |
| Dec 4 19:52:13 | 6m 37s | The Awful adventures of Awful Dave in Awful 3D World | ♥ 1 | Ok, I really like the humor here. I chose the dabbing debility and it really... DABilitiates your abilities? (urgh, awful joke) I can see how the soundtrack was chosen to be funny and weird, but I think a bit of it gets a little grating after some time. I also like how you have to choose something that gets in the way, kinda reminds of the characteristics in Fallout New Vegas, that had this idea of one good thing in exchange for one bad thing. |
| Dec 4 20:18:27 | 26m 14s | Berrytales - Fracture Flight | ♥ 2 | I really like the visuals and the premise. Feeding people you kidnap to your dragon is a great concetpt, though I did feel a little sorry for the dragon, haha! I think this has the the basis for a pretty solid ful game, something where you play a smuggler or some other sort of scoundrel character, travelling around a magical world on your man-eating dragon. I think the game god a bit hectic, but that's part of the fun, something that could tweaked and fixed out of the jam. Good job! |
| Dec 4 20:33:29 | 15m 02s | The Astonishing Airscapade of Sir Bittergloom | ♥ 3 | I love this concept! Having to throw your stuff away fits perfectly with the balloon element, and is funny too. The game also looks and sounds great. Amazing work. The only thing I'd change is to make text pass with player input, rather than ina timed way. I can never finish reading texts like that, haha |
| Dec 4 20:45:16 | 11m 47s | Miguel's Birthday present | ♥ 1 | Very nice twist! Also, good presentation and the illustrations are lovely. Great job! |
| Dec 4 20:50:45 | 5m 29s | Your God Demands... | ♥ 1 | The visuals are great, as is the gameplay and the soundtrack. I love how Chicken God looks. You could have this hosted somewhere as it is, but I'd love to see a version of this game with some more finality to it, like an ultimate objective. Good stuff. |
| Dec 5 10:24:26 | 13h 33m | The Pursuit of Profit | ♥ 1 | The visuals are very nice. I think the concept could use some work, though. I know we're pressing for time in a game jam, but it's too direct for a title like this. A little more subtlety would go a long way. |
| Dec 5 10:34:46 | 10m 20s | The Making Of | ♥ 1 | Really nice entry, good use of the theme. Coding is hard, hahaha. Good job! |
| Dec 5 10:52:28 | 17m 42s | Minotaur Mania | ♥ 1 | This is the first Minotaur-themed game I've seen on the jam, nice to see someone referencing the myth. |
| Dec 5 11:01:13 | 8m 45s | Farewell Dear Cargo | ♥ 2 | I love this game. The visuals are very nice and cute, and the gameplay is just so funny. Hearing the animals inside the boxes your hurling out of the plane to prevent a horrible, fiery death is heartbreaking and hilarious at the same time. I found myself francticly scrambling to put all the stuff in order. Great job with this one, I really, really enjoyed it. |
| Dec 5 11:20:01 | 18m 48s | Overpopulation | ♥ 1 | Good concept, very reminiscent of Papers, Please. I kinda wish the people would come in from a straight line, then head to the right if spared and to the left if sacrificed. I think it would give the game more visual impact. I think some of the profiles were funny, too. Like the same guy having "works for law enforcement" and "Is a gang member". Also, a lot of people were complete psychopaths! I coudln't tell if my choices had in impact on my ending or not. The ending I got didn't reflect what I was feeling at all, so that didn't go so smooth. Overall, nice work! |
| Dec 5 11:37:04 | 17m 03s | The Sunday Massacre | ♥ 0 | This is good! The graphics are very nice, and the gameplay is fun, too. I like how you press space to start mass, and that immediately attacks, letting you know how to play the game. I didn't understand how ti use True Sight the first time I played, and the right mouse click didn't work for me, for some reason. Overall, very solid game. Congrats! |
| Dec 5 12:00:14 | 23m 10s | My Little Daily Sacrifice | ♥ 3 | Very polished game. Funny, great graphics and soundtrack. I also like the challenges proposed by Satan along the game. Great work! |
| Dec 5 12:26:05 | 25m 51s | Sacrifice | ♥ 1 | The graphics look pretty impressive here. I expected to be able to attack with the mouse button, but that didn't work for me. Having to switch to attacking with Z was very jarring. The part where you're killing the crash test dummies could use some work too, as they don't really do anything. Like, you could have less of them and have them standing to be executed or something like that, a different approach to cause impact. Just throwing an idea here. |
| Dec 5 12:40:20 | 14m 15s | 2 Choices | ♥ 1 | Congrats in completing your first LD entry! Ok, on to the feedback. K works as a double jump, so you could just make it a double-press os Space. No need for a second button input there. Also, when you get to the first obstacle, the purple grass/spikes, it was too close to the ledge. It would be better to introduce such an obstacle in an easier-to-avoid place first, then do something like this later on. The jump is too high and across a large distance, making it hard to tell where you'd land. Most of the time I'd fall straight into the trap. Still, good work on your first entry, keep participating! |
| Dec 5 12:50:54 | 10m 34s | How to ruin your life in 48 hours | ♥ 2 | Very fun game! I love how hectic things can get #relatable I don't think I fully understood how to complete the programming task, like, I'd do it, but then how do I confirm that I had it done? It seemes my score for coding never rose. Other than that, great game, cute visuals, very fun |
| Dec 5 12:55:58 | 5m 04s | Kaiju Attack | ♥ 2 | Fun game, the alien design reminds me of that one Angel from Evangelion. Good stuff. |
| Dec 5 13:02:40 | 6m 42s | Goats and Gods | ♥ 0 | Fun gameplay. I loved the spinning centaurs, and it's really interesting to see how our Goblin perception has changed in a post-Goblin Slayer world :) Reminded me a bit of Legacy of Kain, due to camera angle and animations |
| Dec 5 13:08:37 | 5m 57s | I don't wanna die | ♥ 0 | I found it a little difficult to let go of the cards when and where I wanted to, like there was a cooldown or something. Not a fan of that aspect. The premise is great though, as are the visuals. Good job! |
| Dec 5 13:16:23 | 7m 46s | Bird Vs Rat, A Retro Shoot-Em-Up | ♥ 0 | The game looks great, very lively and colorful. I kinda wish the rats didn't explode when they touched the ground, but would rather run at you. It would make more sense, like in that old Win95 game that did something similar. I liked the cutscene visuals too, though the text and the timing of the text could use a bit of work. |
| Dec 5 13:20:31 | 4m 08s | The Sun Scene | ♥ 1 | Beautiful art style and concept. Too bad you guys ran out of time, but what you ended up with is pretty unique. |
| Dec 5 13:26:57 | 6m 26s | Unfinished Sacrifice | ♥ 1 | Too bad you ran out of time, but what is in here is pretty impressive. I really dig the visuals, and the combat is pretty complex for a LD game! The only thing I'd change is the running animation, as it looks like he's jogging and it's a bit funny :P Good job! |
| Dec 5 18:31:20 | 5h 04m | GameJam Sacrifices | ♥ 0 | I coudld've completed the game if it weren't for the cat :( Nice game! I liked the events trying to distract you from the task at hand, and how matter of factly you can dismiss them :) |
| Dec 10 12:56:12 | 114h 24m | Ranch of the Gods | ♥ 2 | I loved how you just straight up LIFT AN OX and carry it to the altar. I would've liked to see some lightning crashing down when the lightning god is angry. |
| Dec 10 13:02:45 | 6m 33s | Dark Villagers | ♥ 2 | The visuals are great, and I like how the villagers attack teh cult and how travellers come to get into the cult. Some nice visual narrative here. I'd like to see the instructions made a liiiitle bit clearer, other than that, great job. |
| Dec 10 13:08:04 | 5m 19s | Sacrafices_LD43 | ♥ 1 | This is a nice concept and I loved the character designs, but I couldn't pick the other cultists up. |
| Dec 10 13:13:43 | 5m 39s | Serial Dater | ♥ 1 | This is a great concept! I love the visuals and the gameplay. My only complaint is that the font and color used for the typing segments made it kinda hard to read the words, while every other font is pretty easy to read, so maybe change that. Everything else is top notch. Congrats! |
