Apr 24 12:41:44 One-Sec Bullet-Hell ♥ 1 Pretty good game, controls were easy to follow and the game is quite challenging. Love the bloom.
Apr 24 12:47:38 5m 54s Revenge of the LuchaDorks ♥ 1 Love the graphics and the visual aesthetic. The platforming is solid and controls are really simple. Really liked the minimap, it was very helpful in preparing for waves. Didn't really find much incentive travelling up the world though. Also for some reason, the audio wasn't playing at all for me.
Apr 24 12:55:03 7m 25s Wordelicious ♥ 1 Brilliant idea for a game! It's a shame you can only suggest one word answers, but as is this game is very clever and requires a lot of thought.
Apr 24 12:59:20 4m 17s MATCH3+CONNECT4 ♥ 1 Really fun competitive game and very well polished. Works surprisingly well!
Apr 24 19:50:19 6h 50m BREAK // HELL ♥ 1 Holy hell! There are so many bullets on the screen that you need to be careful with how often you shoot. Brilliant combination!
Apr 24 19:59:42 9m 23s Dinner Hunter - Cook Or Die ♥ 1 Fun idea, but agree the control scheme is weird. It probably make more sense if there was controller support.
Apr 24 20:09:34 9m 52s Turn-Based Invaders from Space! ♥ 1 A brilliant mix of a classic arcade space shooter and a strategic grid game with limited actions to take. The simple visuals stand out and fit really well and there is a good level of polish as well.
Apr 24 20:19:33 9m 59s Feed the Beat ♥ 1 Really well-polished music rhythm game! The pixel art looks amazing and I love the palette usage!
Apr 24 20:25:44 6m 11s Vyperspace ♥ 0 Really clever idea! I love the glitch effects in this game and the combination of three games instead of two makes this just as impressive.
Apr 24 20:38:16 12m 32s Grid Gunner ♥ 3 Love the bloom and the screen shake. I found aiming a bit difficult since clicking is used to both move and aim at the same time, and I found aiming only worked if you are clicking right on the green character.
Apr 24 20:49:51 11m 35s Brickris Tetout ♥ 1 This is a brilliant and deceptive combination. This version of Tetris is challenging enough, but with a ball that removes individual pieces, it makes it harder to clear lines. Needing to time exactly when to drop pieces is essential if you don't want the ball stuck. I also love the visual effects, I'm a huge fan of bloom but I also like the colourisation and wavy effect of the grid in places where blocks used to be. Brilliant work!
Apr 24 21:02:56 13m 05s Astral Fantasy ♥ 0 Pretty good visually, although the pacing feels kind of slow. It's also irritating to aim at opposing ships. It's still really fun orbiting around planets. This also does a really good job at replicating the UI layout of Final Fantasy and of orbital physics.
Apr 26 12:50:16 39h 47m Rythm is Lava ♥ 1 Clever idea, I like the challenge of controlling two characters at once.
Apr 26 12:59:51 9m 35s Type n' Jump ♥ 2 Good concept, the controls work really well and the graphics look nice. It would be nice if there were some more options, I got as fire as knowing LEFT, RIGHT, JUMP and FIRE. If there was a turn left/right as well as a stop function then the platforming would be more controllable.
Apr 26 21:27:38 8h 27m OUTLAW 🚗 MAYOR 🚓🚓 PANIC! ♥ 1 This is really impressive! I had no idea you could achieve 3D graphics within HaxeFlixel. The music is also really nice and the game has a bouncy and smooth feel to it. The only gripe I have is that there is very little room to avoid the cop cars. Since I was focused on the arrows, the road, and the rotating overworld, I couldn't look at the mini-map to see what direction each were going in.
Apr 26 21:39:09 11m 31s Hug Me While The World Collapses ♥ 0 I liked the cardboard cut-out look of the game but I had a hard time understanding how the controls worked. There isn't a clear indication of what direction you chose or what the goal was. All I gathered was that tiles were sinking, and you needed to set a direction and press the action button to move?
Apr 30 12:34:37 86h 55m ASM Hell ♥ 1 A pretty clever way of playing using assembly. It would be nice if there was a way to skip to the end of a line so you could easily change the right side of it without pressing right constantly. Aside from that the puzzles are good and it functions really well.
Apr 30 12:44:12 9m 35s Escape ♥ 1 Very good Gameboy Style platformer, the puzzles for the rooms were clever, I ended up dying a lot to the rats.
Apr 30 12:49:49 5m 37s Spin.ENG.RefleX ♥ 1 This is pretty good! I can see this working well in an educational environment to teach basic English. It would be cool if you had music that would progressively speed up with the multiplier.
Apr 30 22:03:49 9h 14m Bullet Heck ♥ 1 This idea is incredible, and it works really well! I'd love to see what shaders there are to make this game look cool but as is there is a really good concept from two genres! Great work!
Apr 30 22:10:41 6m 52s Barcelona Secret Party ♥ 1 I like the booming baseline effects as well as the amount of rave lighting. I kind of wish that the web version was more playable, I tried it on two PCs and two web browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and the tab crashes after the game loads but before the music kicks in. I also found it frustrating at how easily you can walk into walls, causing you to do a U-turn right into the cops.
May 1 12:44:49 14h 34m BIRKANOID ♥ 1 A really good mix of strategy and action, it was a challenge using the cards at the right time while avoiding the red blocks. I also liked the retro feel the visuals had. Great work.
May 1 12:55:51 11m 02s Cropshots ♥ 0 A really fun idea, I like the plants having a variety of different bullet patterns to work with. The hand-drawn art and animation work really well with the setting as well. Also, like the music but I can understand why it isn't a voting category. I found a bug where the seeds you currently have gathered aren't cleared when you restart the game, so you could start a new round with an advantage.
May 3 12:48:46 47h 52m On The Fly ♥ 1 This is a very charming and relaxing kind of game. I found the controls very easy to use, would work with a twin-stick controller setup, however, I wasn't sure what the downside was for having one bird's status down to zero. I found the questions both sweet and funny based on the context that they are birds, like how on earth does a bird know what a computer is and why would it need one. I like the texturing and lighting in the scene, looks almost like an acrylic painting.
May 3 12:53:44 4m 58s Gun Appetit! ♥ 0 Good god that chef is butch...
May 4 12:55:46 24h 02m INSiTU ♥ 0 The perspective switching is really good!
