May 1 14:57:31 Dungeon In a Bottle ♥ 1 Fantastic entry. Art & music was amazing. Gameplay was tight. One downside was I could not execute the long jump effectively, so I got gated around level 4. Much prefer easy to access moves that require perfect timing rather than moves that require perfect timing for a wide range of acceptable executions. Super entry! Good luck.
May 1 22:34:08 7h 36m Game of Worlds ♥ 2 Great entry. Gameplay worked and I beat it. Found the exit during the day and had to wait until night to win. Did not see the point of collecting friends but was fun to do anyways. Awesome job, looking forward to your next.
May 2 01:59:36 3h 25m E.(a)T. ♥ 1 Great game. Nice conflicting goals. It was tough to achieve a nice balance. Knocking the enemies off was very satisfying. I would like some visual feedback from the character at low hunger. Graphics, sound, and controls were excellent.
May 2 02:08:19 8m 43s Sillyzilla Rampage ♥ 4 This is a very good entry. The premise was solid and could definitely be built upon. The characters were interesting and smashing enemies was fun. The gameplay was immediately intuitive. I would have liked more feedback when I was being attacked, I found it difficult to notice the ground units. Well done!
May 2 02:18:56 10m 37s Carefulzilla ♥ 1 Absolutely epic. The only game so far my 8 y/o who is watching demanded to play. Then again ... Small issues with the camera and both feet staying easily clickable on big steps. Would have liked some camera scaling to keep them on screen. And of course ... more screenshake ;P. Well done!
May 2 02:37:48 18m 52s The Wonky Wizard ♥ 1 Well done. Had a great time mowing down enemies and exploring the world. I also ended up using mostly the lightning. The charge shot was hard to use and would have preferred it on the keyboard. Great game!
May 2 03:28:19 50m 31s Les Petites Planètes ♥ 3 A fun clicker. The art, music and sfx all worked well together. I also happen to love the Little Prince =D. I liked having to choose to ignore some meteors but click on others.
May 2 03:46:42 18m 23s Get Off my Planet! ♥ 0 Great entry. Easy to grasp and play, mechanics worked as expected. Combat felt a bit too smooth. Some stops and knockbacks could have made it feel great imo. Excellent work!
May 3 04:12:26 24h 25m Planetary Defense Force ♥ 1 Great tower defense game. Was genuinely fun to play. I would have loved to have seen more orbital mechanics. It did get difficult rather quickly but ... thats a jam game =D. Yours is a great example, well done!
May 3 23:12:22 18h 59m Rock my Ship ♥ 1 This is a great game. It's fun with conflicting goals to be balanced to succeed. I wasn't able to escape but enjoyed trying. Sound fx and a better UI would really make this gem shine. Thanks for the fun!
May 4 02:35:19 3h 22m Jetpackman VS Bouncy World ♥ 2 The game plays great, looks great. Its an excellent entry. Some other enemies / constraints would have done a lot to extend the gameplay. Well done!
May 4 03:06:52 31m 33s Song of Fungus ♥ 1 This is excellent. The puzzles are well thought out. The pacing is good. Art and music work really well together. One of the best I've played so far.
May 4 03:25:46 18m 54s Holy Shit! A Spider !!! ♥ 1 Good job. Game played well and I had fun. Voiceover was funny the first play through but I would have liked to have been able to turn it off for subsequent plays. Well done!
May 4 03:34:09 8m 23s Grall Axy ♥ 2 Well done. Great core idea. Art and sound were a nice fit. The mine types were a nice addition. I think some arc trajectories for the incoming projectiles would have felt nice. I had fun, thanks for making it.
May 7 17:24:13 85h 50m Rock Hammer ♥ 3 Great concept. Character art was fantastic. Was fun to play but I got frustrated when I knew my character would never make it in time so I was just waiting to die. I would have liked to have been able to use right and left side of screens for move left / right. Then tap for throw (or swipe up).
May 7 23:39:04 6h 14m Dung Beetle ♥ 3 Great concept. Loved the camera work introducing the levels. The introduction of new mechanics was great. I would have really loved it if the dung beetle both animated more like a dung beetle and controlled more like it. Great entry!
May 8 01:40:29 2h 01m Crustacean Frustration ♥ 0 Thought the game was impossible until I learned from comments I could double jump. I like the art direction and music was fitting. Great game.
May 8 01:55:23 14m 54s Seagazer ♥ 0 Can't really add more about stars than what has been said. Great experience. I was often confused but found my way forward nonetheless. Great entry!
May 10 03:31:38 49h 36m Rocket Roller Space Polo ♥ 0 This was a great game. Had a lot of fun while playing it, even though the AI managed some quick hard to defend goals it still felt fair. I wish I had a wee bit more control over moving left or right, I was able to get off some counter clockwise rocket jumps that were super satisfying. Well done, thanks!
May 11 03:49:02 24h 17m Cell Division ♥ 1 This was really good and unique. I got overwhelmed after awhile and I am not sure any strategy would have helped me progress. I think a growing camera would have addressed this and add an element to the game. The art was great, the music worked well with it. A fantastic entry. Thanks!
May 11 03:59:21 10m 19s The Adventurer Davidson ♥ 1 Great concept and entry. Having to switch between the mouse and keyboard on death kept me from enjoying this at the pace I wanted to. It was a tad difficult for me, but the levels I was able to pass all required the same technique. Loved the art and music, thanks!
May 12 00:24:24 20h 25m It's A Small World ♥ 2 NIce game. It was a good story and fun to play through. I am not sure I understood the end of the story. Great job!
May 12 00:38:10 13m 46s One Small Step ♥ 1 I really love the aesthetic. The menus, art, and sound were really well done. Once in the game it took me awhile to figure out what to do. Once I figured it out I didn't have further issues. Well done!
May 12 00:48:23 10m 13s Polar Conflict ♥ 0 Great game. It played well, and I was able to improve. I would have really like better turning on my ship. The aesthetic was great. Thanks!
May 12 01:47:55 59m 32s Orbitz ♥ 0 I really like the look and concept of this game. I think this would work very well on mobile. It seemed like I always had to shoot super slow to get it right. I would have liked for the whole thing to be sped up. Great entry! Thanks.
May 12 02:23:12 35m 17s Noizy ♥ 1 This was super. Great aesthetic and solid gameplay. Difficulty was on point. All I can offer are small nitpicks : I think allowing players to still jump for a split second after they fall off a ledge would help with feel. Jump cancel on button up for reduced height jumps always feels good to me in these kinds of games as well and allows greater depth of play. Fantastic entry, thanks for making it for us!
May 13 04:11:24 25h 48m drone ♥ 2 It looks and sounds very good. I enjoyed playing with it for awhile, but after I sampled all the variations I ran out of things to do. Nevertheless, it was fun to play with for awhile even without goals. Thank you for making it for us.
May 13 19:14:00 15h 02m Bitverse ♥ 1 Really nice game-play. Very solid aesthetic. Lots of controls but I only had to reference them once. I got a little bit confused when using the map the first time, I wasn't sure how to exit ... walking away did it. There were a lot of controls but I had no trouble using them. I had fun playing it. This is a very good entry. Thanks for making it for us. P.S. If you have time and could review mine as well https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/spider-collider
May 13 19:31:34 17m 34s Virulence ♥ 1 Great concept. I liked the creature editor. In game I didn't feel I could control the creature well enough for my choices to be very important. After I beat the first level, subsequent levels required me to collect negative goo and I never saw an enemy again. The edit mode and gameplay mode were ambitious but you succeeded, everything was well executed. Great entry! Thanks for making it for us.
May 13 19:41:55 10m 21s Of Course I Remember You! ♥ 2 This is really great. I love the use of the theme. The voices are very good and add a tremendous amount to the final product. It took me a moment to realize that there were clues on the screen and also that I could move the text bar to the left and right. It was a lot of fun. I think the additional off additional mini games as random as the characters would take this to the next level.
May 13 20:11:31 29m 36s Tiny Hero ♥ 1 I like mobile one tap style rpgs so this is right up my alley. I really like the idea of having the hero follow the mouse that closely as a game mechanic. The whole aesthetic was put together nicely. At first I didn't realize the wave didn't start until I attacked so I wasn't finding time to level up. It did get difficult for me rather quickly. I would have gladly played some easier content before getting crushed. Great work!
May 13 20:28:13 16m 42s The World Repeats ♥ 1 It played great with the xbox controller. I would have liked the left thumbstick to work for movement as well. The circular world with one way travel is a great mechanic based on the theme. For the jam content, nothing except the herbs really harnessed this as a mechanic but it has great potential. It was very easy to use the craft system and inventory. That many systems in a jam is ambitious, and you pulled it off! Great entry.
May 13 20:44:43 16m 30s ChronoCombat ♥ 1 Its a great prototype of an ambitious concept. I had to test versus myself but had trouble killing myself (moving around blind and randomly). I think a 15 frame version where there were very few places to go or hide so even guesses were somewhat likely to be correct. The initially traveling projectile caused me some confusion as well. Great work, thanks for sharing!
May 14 03:10:18 6h 25m Not Rude Bear ♥ 2 Everything was well done. Lots of great polish on the details like digging, text presentation and color grading. Music was superb. The story got some LoLs out of me, the difficulty wasn't high but the fun level was.
May 14 03:12:21 2m 03s ATLANTIS ♥ 2 The characters and environment art were fantastic. After wasting a few rounds, I got the hang of how to play. I think more highlighting on the active character would clear up most my issues. There was a lot of polish and winning requires a strategy. Best of luck in continued development.
May 14 03:26:18 13m 57s More Room! ♥ 1 Multiple scenarios is a great touch. This was an ambitious concept and it succeeds. I feel like the unit control could use some tweaking. Its a great entry, thanks for sharing.
May 20 03:43:33 144h 17m Smalltrek ♥ 1 Hey, thanks for the feedback on spider collider. Pulling the ball to the spider is a fantastic idea, I'll try that out if I continue. Thanks for coming back to share!
