May 1 09:06:11 A Perfectly Lovely Expedition ♥ 3 This was cool to play. Got a bit frustrated half way through as couldn't figure out what to do with the blue thing made out of gems, but got there in the end!! (took about 10 mins to complete) Neat mechanics too.
May 1 10:13:57 1h 07m In Defense of a Dragon ♥ 1 Impressive considering you mentioned you were learning Go for the first time! Mechanics were quite well done, just needs a bit of sound & polish to make it into something more enjoyable, great work though
May 1 10:34:34 20m 37s Tiny World ♥ 0 Hey, your itch.io link doesn't work :-) Also you can create a direct link to your .rar file like this https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B-GrTXz0211aV3NPY2pxbEVEb1E
May 1 12:07:42 1h 33m Inside Inc. ♥ 2 Beautifully made game which was genuinely fun to play. Love the graphics, shake effects, monster design and level design. Controls were fluid and intuitive. The pathfinding by the enemies was a little limited so after a while I found myself using that to my advantage to kill them, it felt less hectic after that. But those darn green spiky blobs that split down into smaller ones are impossible!! Managed to get through about 5-6 screens but kept getting stuck at one point, it felt too hard. Awesome job!
May 1 12:26:02 18m 20s Tribal Tension (Twitch) ♥ 1 Simply amazed by this - concept, integration with Twitch and how fun it is to play, awesome job!!
May 1 12:32:02 6m 00s Tsunami ♥ 1 Hi! ~~The Windows link on the itch.io page does not work :-(~~ I do have access to a Mac as well, so when I am by it next, I'll try it out! My mistake, my popup blocker was preventing the dropbox link from opening!
May 1 13:04:43 32m 41s The Inner Lock ♥ 1 Wow, seriously scary, glad I played this during the daytime 😁 Love the lo-fi graphics, ambient sounds and spooky voice/text. Could be the start of a great psychological puzzler.
May 1 14:04:59 1h 00m This is Cutopia ♥ 1 Beautiful graphics and very fun to play. Got quite protective of the bunnies after a while. Would be awesome with some sound effects and a bit of background music. Nice work!
May 1 16:09:04 2h 04m Way Out ♥ 1 Nice game 😄 I got lost in the 2nd level and couldn't figure out where to go from there. Those rats are evil! It felt well balanced, being able to gain the hearts back. Would be nice to have some more variation in the backgrounds. The drip drip sound really added to the atmosphere. Nice job!
May 1 17:43:00 1h 33m LOST PLANET(oid) ♥ 1 Lovely sprites and level design, the room names were a nice touch too, imaginative. The firing was a little awkward but got the hang of it after a while. Kept me entertained for 5 minutes!
May 1 18:00:06 17m 06s Little Eco Planet ♥ 1 Really neat little puzzler! Would make a great casual game for mobile. Agree with Goncalo that some sound would be nice. Great job!
May 1 18:16:35 16m 29s An Ant World ♥ 1 I love simulation type games so this was a real treat to play (reminded me a lot of SimAnt, obviously!) Before long I had foragers and soldiers all over the place. After the initial learning curve it wasn't too challenging. Maybe more enemy ants would have made it harder. Nice job!
May 2 07:34:24 13h 17m Little Big Square ♥ 1 Quite an original game with neat mechanics. Felt a little like crazy golf! I also got stuck on the one with the blue box that destroyed the ball...
May 2 10:04:45 2h 30m Interstellar Botanist ♥ 2 Wow, this is a seriously impressive entry. Very engaging and fun to play, would like to try this in VR! Voices are brilliant! I couldn't quite figure out why trading ships say they are coming, then after a while the timer increases and so it never gets to zero? Thought it might be triggered by some action I am taking, but couldn't make the connection...
May 2 11:48:56 1h 44m World Collector ♥ 1 Great game, it offered the right amount of challenge each level without getting too overwhelming, by about the 5th level it got too hard for me though! Agree with others that the controls were a bit hard to get used to, probably because there were so many up/down/left/rights to keep track of while the ship was rotating around the planets. Still it had a lot of depth and playability! Music was cool too. Great job!
May 2 11:55:39 6m 43s Alienus-Alienas ♥ 0 Really liked the graphics and animations, it had a frantic feel to it. Would have been great to have some sound effects when repairing jumping etc. I couldn't quite figure out what caused the game to end, was it the rockets getting damaged or the player getting hit by bullets/missiles? Nice job!
May 2 15:43:20 3h 47m Food Fight ♥ 2 Brilliant fun, managed to get to #2 on the leaderboard 😄 (amazing how a simple thing like the leaderboard made me want to play more) Sushi on legs pushing packs of wagyu beef around so they can chase me is hilarious. Had a bit of a Micro Machines feel to it. Music was epic, I think more sound effects (and softer ones) would have rounded it off. Nice work!
May 2 15:52:26 9m 06s Throw ♥ 0 Beautifully simple with great level design. Gentle, relaxing gameplay, with gradually increasing challenge, left me wanting more. Imaginative take on the "Small World" theme. Nice work!
May 2 16:04:57 12m 31s DIMPOCK ♥ 1 Lovely lo-fi crackling graphics and SFX, the background music lends an ominous feel to the gameplay. Sooo hard!! The intro sequence when the level is being built is awesome. Nice job!
May 2 17:08:15 1h 03m The World of Zolcraft 🌎 ♥ 1 a funny and creative entry that kept me entertained for a little while, nice work 😄
May 2 17:18:07 9m 52s The Taker ♥ 2 Nice idea, well done considering you only spent 7 hours on it ... kept me entertained for a little while!!
May 2 17:39:59 21m 52s Song of Fungus ♥ 2 Absolutely stunning game in all aspects (visual, sound effects and background music). Gentle learning curve and then it gets challenging ... Addictive! Awesome work. By far the most impressive game I've seen so far in LD38. 🍄 🍄 🍄
May 2 19:17:48 1h 37m Rogue Basement ♥ 1 Really cool entry. I have been wanting to do a rogue-like for a long time, so it was inspiring to play. It was also very interesting to read your design & implementation analysis doc. I wonder if the CSV approach could allow people to extend your game without writing code. The background music is GREAT! (composed in the wee hours - impressive) I am determined to beat this ... have picked it back up a couple times today 😄
May 2 20:10:25 52m 37s Floppy McFloppyface ♥ 1 Completely bonkers, loved it.
May 2 20:25:32 15m 07s Stop CO2 ♥ 2 Really nice graphics, it was refreshing to see a game with isometric layout and you obviously put a lot of effort into the sprites. Had a great "evil SimCity" vibe to it 😄 I did find it a bit hard to understand what was going on, but got the general idea after a few minutes. Could be the basis of a nice Tower Defense/SimCity hybrid!
