Great music, great atmosphere. I did feel a bit rushed with the time ticking, but it turned out to not be so bad.

It was pretty entertaining watching lost ants try to find their way. The AI is very impressive, it feels like real ants trying to figure out where to go.
I also got rekt by the caterpillar of doom. FYI the backgrounds are not working on fullscreen, but it was simple enough to switch back. Good work!
Amazing entry! I can't believe how well polished this came out for a game jam. The controls feel great even on keyboard (I didn't even feel comfortable playing Super Meat Boy on keyboard, so that's an impressive feat). The level design is top notch. If I could make a suggestion it may be to show a level preview before you bet, so you can judge and decide "I got this in 1!"
I had a blast right to the end! See what i did there? Everything about this felt great and was incredibly fun! Combining these two things worked incredibly well, and provided for some really awesome stages. My only complaint is really the default sound volume is super low. I couldn't tell where the smooth music was coming from. Great job!
Nice idea! It could use some balancing for LD, as especially early on, as there is no room for mistakes or slow responses. The health kits were a little too scarce for the amount of damage you inevitably take. That being said, the graphics, music, and premise of the game were great! Keep it up!
Incredibly addicting!!! High score of 850! I was highly motivated by the changing landscapes as I got higher, and I really wanted to hear the entire awesome song loop. The RNG seemed a bit painful at first, but i also realized that this game often gives you a few options to get through a situation, and sometimes you just needed to burn cards or save some for later. After that realization, I felt in control and able to think on my toes with whatever I had available. It was an awesome feeling!
This is an impressively complete solo entry, complete with nice music, sfx, graphics, and a few different levels. My recommendation if you take this forward is to add some more platforming challenges especially if you could incorporate the shooting and the platforming together, like shooting your character for a double jump, or clearing enemies mid jump. There is a lot of potential here!
I see you have also elected to see what kind of wackiness can be had with a card game. This is pretty neat, and a bold choice to mix these genres. I think this would work a little better with fewer flower colors, because currently you end up mismatching more often then matching. Losing a hand slot after each miss is pretty brutal, but it was good attempt to feed back rhythm performance to the card portion. Maybe something like 3 strikes to lose a hand slot would feel a bit more forgiving. The music and graphics are great! And I think with some tweaks this could be really fun!
Nice choice going with the typing game hybrid. Our team came to the same decision that there aren't enough typing games in the world. The sounds and feel of this game are great. I especially like the word choices as you progress. Look into maybe adding some monster chases or something to add some franticness to the mix. Good job making this feel very polished though!
