Love the atmosphere of the game, but I wish there was some kind of an indicator of here the gun is aiming, a crosshair or a more immersive laser pointer.

Love the atmosphere of the game, but I wish there was some kind of an indicator of here the gun is aiming, a crosshair or a more immersive laser pointer.
I like how it looks. But on the same topic, I didn't like the narrow FOV(
The design is cool, somewhat reminiscent of penumbra.
Excellent graphics. Cool pixel filter. Is this pixel perfect? Creepy traps hanging from the ceiling and gas clouds. The voice acting is also great.
really atmospheric, super neat :) It feels super claustrophobic
Did you make the piano background music too? It really fits with the whole theme of your game, nice job!
I love the atmosphere! The wheelchair was super creepy and well-placed:). The atmospheric piano was perfectly eerie.
I get what you were going for with the narrow FOV, but I think it could be just a bit wider (tho I think I got used to it after playing for a bit). I also couldn't shoot some of the long hanging creatures - they just wouldn't shrink. Oh well, maybe I just missed. Overall, well done - i got goosebumps while playing this.
@eugen-rantev @martynas-dargis Thank you for playing. And your right that having no corss hair made it really hard to aim. We were aiming for a no hud game for more atmosphere but we should have telegraphed where you are aiming better.
@emilija-marija @martynas-dargis I improvised all the music at my piano, happy you liked it.
The atmosphere and visuals are great! I imagined myself a futuristic vampire :D
Visuals look really nice, but the combination of very low fov and very high sensitivity makes it very hard to move and see where I'm going. I do really commend the art and atmosphere
@shp You can change the sensitivity by holding down tab. Or is it still to high even at the lowest setting?
Probably the best looking game i've seen so far. And the best mood/style. You've knocked it out the park on visuals. I thought the gameplay was eerie and mysterious but I think I was looking for more horror? Appreciate its a short amount of time to try and fit so much in though, and you've done an amazing job with the time you had. Excellent stuff!!
I personally enjoy the narrow FOV. It makes the world feel cramped and unforgiving. The mechanics were also unforgiving with how slow the reload was. *I think this was a good thing, personally*.
the graphisme look so good and i love the physique when you move the gun
Nice entry, although the sensitivity was quite weird during my playthrough, my player would randomly go spinning 180° for no reasons..! But otherwise great mood, nice graphics and the idea is quite cool!
Cool game! Reminds me of the lethal company's graohics.
Neat game! Default sensitivity was WAY too high for me, and there was a lot of hangs. If you'd done a PC build I would've preferred that, I think WebGL is at its limits on this one
Game nails atmosphere with its eerie visuals and haunting soundtrack! The narrow field of view really adds to the claustrophobic, tense feeling as you explore, although it might take some players a bit of time to get used to it. The pixel filter adds an amazing retro touch that enhances the immersive, gritty environment. 👾 The music, especially the piano, is perfectly eerie and complements the dark, unsettling mood. 🎶💀 The creepy traps and hanging creatures are spot-on for creating tension, but I did have some trouble hitting the long-hanging enemies. While aiming without a crosshair makes sense for the "no HUD" vibe, a subtle indicator like a laser pointer could have been a helpful addition. Overall, it's an incredibly atmospheric experience, and I loved how the visuals and mood come together.
Thank you so much for the kind words @jemh2k and @sviborg, really happy you enjoyed it
It looks and feels pretty cool. Playing it in the browser, there are some "stutters" for me regarding the movement, it's like the perspective rotation with the mouse gets stuck for 1 sec every now and then. But overall, I've enjoyed playing it!
Very solid entry. I won't repeat the good comments about the graphics and the mood, which are of course top notch. I also had that stuttering playing the web version and couldn't find a windows build. I'm working on a horror game and this is honestly inspiring to see where you decided to put the effort. I love the exploring, the attention to limiting the player's vision, the green fog creates an intense feeling of danger... Again, inspiring. Keep making games guys.
Hey, would you be able to host this on something like itch.io?
I'm having some real issues with the embedded version, and this looks really cool, but I just can't get it to play right, even with full screen.
Very nicely done, some nice PS1 horror game atmosphere to it and some nice detailing too, I especially like the creatures and the gun reloading animation with the air pressure clouding out. Great stuff, had fun playing it!
Great atmosphere with PS1 style! I like 3d models and visuals
+1 point for an ability to run
+1 point for the gun, just like in metro
+1 point for barnacles from half life
I am glad that a lot of people appreciated the choice to have a lower FOV. It was a design choice we were unsure would work but kept it for the claustrophobic feel! Happy you guys enjoyed the gun @soul-grinder and @pomidor-carry. It was super fun making the design and animations for it! Thank you all for the nice comments!
Fun and spooky! I agree with your choice to have the low FOV, it just added to the nerves imo it's a vibe. I had some stutter but as others say my mouse was super sensitive even on the lowest setting and I think that was related. Great entry, just cool atmosphere and brought together really well.
I have now added a windows build @gametrodon, @mikeandtherest and @shadowbrain. Hope that runs better for you. And there are a few stuters when you begin the game, it is shaders compiling and won't happen the second time or if you just look around a bit before exiting the door. Could probably have made a loading screen for that, but game jam
Nice concept, also liked the pixel-like game, so definitely high rank
I died without understanding why x) But i LOVE the graphics, love the ambiance, and love the fact than a 3D game was on html 5 playable on navigator. Keep going ! if you got time, try rating my game too!
Daaamn, those graphics! I really like myself some pixelated horror (: tho sencetivity even on the lowest setting is kinds too much and i ran out of ammo - couldve just killed me insantly at that point Overall i like the idea a lot and graphic with models are a nice touch
I also really liked the graphics and the mood of the game
Nice graphics and impressive mood
The setting is really creepy, and wonderfully made! I love the PS1 style aliasing.
I recorded myself playing to game, so I can provide as much feedback as possible. Cheers!

Ohh ohh ohh.. what else to say than what the others are saying... creepy as hell atmosphere! I rarely download desktop games (prefer the web) but this time I downloaded it / wanted to try a bit more and hopefully (no stutter there). Those empty rooms with a single object in them rise further the deep feeling of desperation. The pixelated retro graphics give a vibe of an old-time shooter, which I very much fall for. And do you know what that nasty bug reminds me of? The bugs in the caves in Turok 1 (1997). Very well-fitting textures too!
What I'd wanted maybe.. to not die so easily. Amazing atmosphere! Congrats!
The aesthetics are just something, loved the whole atmosphere
Very creepy. The unified oxygen resource was well done, although some cannisters or fill methods in the depths would have been a nice way to round it out. Really liked the visuals. Claustrophobic.
Pretty neat game, vibe was neat. I don't know if this is just a problem with the web version but the starting room ran quite poorly and would freeze often.
@mardood Its shaders compiling which is unfortunately something we haven’t been able to fix. Should just be those initial spikes and then fine after that and ideally we would have hidden it behind a loading screen. But we didn’t have time to do that
amazing visuals and a tense atmosphere very well achieved. Excellent job
