Finally a game made for mobile! Cute game, nice sounds, good level progression and good replayability!

save-sloth-studios 2024-04-16 09:36

Cute idea and I like the minimalistic graphics! I just don't see the summoning theme in it!

thebooksnail 2024-04-16 12:45

@save-sloth-studios, the original idea was do have other birds be attracted by your good singing and would fly away if you did bad. the better you did the more potential mates you would "summon". that ended up being cut due to time :slight_frown:

bird song are soothing but timer is more and more stressful ! Really cute game, I like the mood

Haha that's a very nice concept! Last 2 birbs were too funny xD I can see this as a game that can teach you some trivia about different bird sounds, as well as teach you to draw more accurate strokes, just great!

Nice little game. Not my cup of tea but well executed, graphics are on point and so is the sound design. Good job!

kuggenhoffen 2024-04-16 13:54

Cool idea, I could see hardcore version of this where after a while you don't get the shape anymore and have to remember the sounds and their shape

What a fun game! Very innovating also. Did you record the sounds yourself? As I don't see an option to rate sound here. One suggestion I have is putting the name of the bird somewhere more obvious, as this is an opportunity for the player to learn some bird-facts :-)

This is a really clever concept. The engine works and replicating the bird sounds has a nice ambient feel to it. Perfect game for mobile.

Great work!

I like how simple and novel this is! Also +1 to everyone saying that it's great that this can be played on mobile.

Great game, but where's Lucky Lefty? (just kidding)

Funny how one of the bird has music even on their scientific name (Song sparrow / Melospiza melodia), very appropriate for this game :)

Oooh birds, I like birds! Original game idea, and awesome that you can play it on a phone. My highscore was 4.60 on my phone and 4.83 on my laptop (with trackpad). Really cute, but somehow I did miss some more gameplay elements. Like maybe remembering the sound shapes?

Good job!

lame-rat 2024-04-21 21:16

Nice! Thats an unusual idea. For me, it didnt provide enough challenge.

jennyhe 2024-04-21 21:54

Cool to play at mobile phone!

tucan 2024-04-22 03:47

This is a really nice idea! I really enjoyed your game with the bird songs feels very relaxing! Good job!

johnnysix 2024-04-22 20:14

Very cool! I live out in the stix so I have love hate relationship with some birds, especially owls :owl:

I played on the phone for the full experience. If you continued to develop, it'd be cool to have a speed element to the stokes, as well as accuracy. If the up strokes are fast, the down are slow or something, for extra challenge.

Well, I ended with 4.46/5, and yet I have failed once or twice  I like to watch out for the birds coming in my garden, trying to recognize them well, and some of their songs - so this game was made typically for people like me ha ha - good job!

tetrergeru 2024-04-23 19:02

Nice game! I used graphic pad to play — felt really nice :D Even replayed couple of times to get higher score

It would be awesome, if successful drawings produced a complete song.

Cute idea! I like that it's also playable on phones! I wish that it did a little bit more with your input rather than just scoring it, to add some more dynamic interactivity to it. I really liked when the birdsong diagrams just started going crazy, haha.
