Yknow, normally I avoid playing non-web builds, but the premise was too good to pass up. Definitely don't regret it! This was a fun little experience, and if you guys plan to expanding it, I'm interested in seeing where it goes.
great idea and executed with a lot of personality, the dialogue and animations are a lot of fun. i'd like to have more options but can't really complain about a lack of content in a jam game, and what you've got here is great
Hahahah man I cringed all the way through, Ball Boy sure is awkward. What on earth made me be enthousiastic about having a sandwich for lunch?! Dad-jokes have got nothing on this game, music was also dope, shame BB will be raving all by his lonesome :(
Great idea ! I really liked the concept and I had fun playing it, the humor works really well I liked the jokes (especially the one on Pythagoras). I feel a little sad for ball boy x)

Solid game, Animations are the real star here, really are able to convey the awkward feeling really well done ! The take on the theme is A+, probably one of the best representations in LD50 that I've seen and played. I think with some polish and more content this could be a really fun game to play, Well done <3
It's hard to have a chat with someone who's nothing in common. You pointed out well. Great concept! It might be a good idea to use more boring bgm i guess.
Really cool idea! I loved how dynamic Pyramid's reactions were, especially how he backs slowly away if you don't say something fast enough.
Everything looked really crisp and fluid, which it really should since--for whatever strange reason--the game was running my GPU (GTX 1070) at 100% constantly and even started causing coil whine, which I've never had before on this card...! O.o
I've no idea if that's something you can fix or if it's some very niche problem that's only affecting me, but I didn't want to play too long, just in case... Sorry...! ^^; I really did want to play through it more than once. :confused:

your game is hilarious! i loved the social awkwardness and the dialogues. A very different take on the theme too. Graphics and animation are to the point.. all in all i've enjoyed playing and i have nothing negative to say. I would love to see the post jam version if you would add some kind of voice over. Great work :)
really really liked this take on the theme, the concept immediately made me want to play it ahah. i'd say it's all very... solid.

Hilarious concept! It's just as awkward as me at real parties!
There are few games that get me giddy with enthusiasm but this is one of them. A lot of neat animation, a god damn CONTEXT-SENSITIVE dialogue tree :eyes: and really good writing. I loved it! High marks all around!
If you need voice work for a post-jam version or future LDs, hit me up :) I do some casting and could probably get a couple of pro voice actors in on this!

I thought it was a very fun and hilarious concept and idea! xD Really seeing how every time he didn't like something he took a step back towards the door made me very funny. The 3d models are very good, I think that with more work and time that "party department" could look great. Great job!!

I love this. This so was so fun and endearing, the visuals were great, simple shapes with clear, pleasant shading and the choice of colours was very good, also the choice of font made this visually very very pretty! The animations were also cute and clean! Really made fully-fledged characters out of these simple shapes!
The convos were fun, the convo choices hilarious and really made you wanting to keep trying. the controls didn't need any explanations at all, I liked the topic and literally everything. My best is so far almost 3 minutes :D
After a while, I tried to hush out that pyramid head as soon as possible because I'm sure all my ballbuddy really wants is watch some Netflix :b

haha! Really good. Don't really have any critique, maybe being able to interact with the environemtn would have been nice :) (and let the player figure that out themselfes, like clicking on the fridge to get the dude a beer or something. or like turn on music or whatever. maybe with an inventory and you can grab something and give him a gift haha.

I love it! But I'm not playing games to remind me of my own life :D jokes aside: to me it felt well put together with everything having its place to make me feel really awkward.

Such a heartfelt game, I've been in both positions and this game almost made me uncomfortable for how on point it was. Really well out together, and mad respect to pyramid for knowing when to bail.
