Nicely done. Challenging until you reach the max spawns and just lead them on a chase without killing them. Maybe the black eggs should be on a separate spawn limit to force you to do more than run from generator to generator? gg :)

nice but a bit difficult to get the hang of it.
The monsters are visually a mix of a robot from Portal and Daleks :D
A pretty and well made little game.
Great little horde game, love the characters a lot, music is good, seems like there's a dominant strategy to keep looping around but overall nice job, had fun with this one :)
The lack of sounds for the robots makes it difficult to know when they're behind you, and to know when a black robot is shooting the generator. Good job overall!
Very impressive game! Love the 3D models, the weapon feels nice, and was easy to understand. however, the FOV is painfully low.
Otherwise super fun game ^^
Really fun, my only feedback is that I wish there was more of it! More attack types, more enemy types, more explosion power ahaha! I'm sure there would've been if it weren't for time constraints, but it was super fun! Spent more time playing this than any other game so far
I'll never look at eggs the same way again. This was great, awesome track playing as well. Hey I came 6th! :')

Very nice game. Managed to get 20k-ish- I had this weird issue where I rotated randomly once in a while though that kinda ruined if for me a bit. Not sure if it was an ingame rotation bug, or something with my mouse and the web client (Although I usually don't have mouse issues) - Apart from that I had a blast- Nice concept, and it felt quite good. Would've loved a reload button (Unless there was one, and I completely missed that)
Thanks a lot, for sharing your game :-)
Awesome game! I really liked the enemy models and the vibe of the whole world. Great job!
Thanks guys for all the feedback! I really appreciate it.
@achasm Thanks! I added the black robot at the very end before the deadline and did't have time to balance it correctly. They should definately spawn intependently from the other robots.
@guillem-serra I tottaly agree with you. I even added some footsteps to the robots but they're to quiet (especially with music turned on). I'm not good at sound designing and I definately need to practice before LD51 :) Regarding the black robot, I started creating it in panic mode 1h before the deadline so it's not very polished and there is too few of them spawning. I was hoping they will make the gameplay better but I think it didn't make any difference :(
@loligxp Thanks, I've put a ton of work in the modelling (and probably that's why the gameplay it's not the best ;) ). Regarding FOV I didn't noticed that before but now I see it and it annoys me too :P
@brettschiff Wow, thanks! I think if I would have 1 more day this would be a much better game, but I don't know if I would survive one more day :D It was very intesnse time and today I woke up feeling like a zombie :D
@mook Haha, thanks. I appreciate you noticed the music track. I'm not good at this and I spent a lot of time on making it. I know it's not perfect but if you don't focus on it too much it fits quite nicely :P
@mekuri Thanks. I also noticed that issue a few times but only in WebGL version (in editor it didn't occur). Probably a CPU spike caused by garbage collection. I'm happy that web version is playable at all because WebGL has a lot of limitations :D
The eggs are everywhere :egg: :egg: :egg:
Pros: - Clear objective. Kill mixer egggs*, prioritize Black Eggs and run! - I love the enemy design. Now I need to boil my eggs extra hard when doing breakfast - Good animations and quite ok weapon feel - Always glad to have control options - Hey, it's some nice music you got there
Cons: - Recipe to win: Just outrun regular eggs, kill Black ones. Rinse repeat - Sound ques or eggs / spawn / danger would be beneficial - Force density clear: Eggs should have a bit of range weaponry, that can fire at lest one time each couple of seconds - Exhaustion meter for the player, so you can't outrun everything in the end would be nice a well - Not sure about grenade AoE range. Thrown it into the flock of Eggs, killed 2. Next time, killed 7.
A good entry for Compo nontheless. Great job!
@mikoziq Thanks for great feedback. I 100% agree with all the cons :)
* Did you make the song alone? Sounds really good! * Very cool graphics for a 48h game. * It wasn't obvious to me how the enemies behaved. I first thought they only attack me, the I was running around and was always surrounded. Maybe the game is a bit too hard. * Nice leaderboard! * I wish there was a way to reload the weapon before it overheats
@christian-zommerfelds Wow, thanks for the feedback. I'm really glad you like it! :) Yes, I did the music myself. I recored several guitar parts and then arranged some of them in Cakewalk (free DAW). I also used some free VST instruments and plugins.
I'm happy you liked the graphics - it was the most time consuming part.
There is an auto-reload feature after you stop shooting for 1 second. It was easier and faster for me to do that, but now I agree that manual reload would be better - it would give more controll to the player.
@owca I meant more like a faster reload so you get rewarded if you don't let the gun overheat and just time it right :)
Hi guys! After getting your feedback, today morning I decided to polish my game a bit. I've just added a link to the post-jam version and added a changelog so you can see what was changed. You can try it if you want. I will be grateful for any additional feedback.
Once again thanks for playing my game and for all the comments

Ok just played the new version, and it's really good. Love the new FOV definitly feels a lot more comfortable to play now. The new grenade effects are fancy too, and the ability to explode them midair is a nice adition. Adds more control to the nades and I really like that.
The stamina doesn't feel too impactful though, but intersting addition that you have to think about while playing.
Another feedback I would now have is, It would be nice to see from afar which reactor is which. In my last playthrough Reactor 3 was about to run out, but I didn't know which reactor was reactor 3, so I lost.
All in all, very fun, love the little update ^^
unknown.png Now that's a good score :D
@loligxp Nice score! I just tried several times but I wasn't even close to 40k.
Hi, I loved the humor, those eggs with kitchen tools were funny :D Dig the metal music while killing those eggs, good job on the entry!
I really enjoyed the game. The sounds and controls are very responsive. I just wanna have a little more distance in the grenade. But is a nice entry. I handle to made 40k points after some replays running to the towers sequentially. :D
Nice graphics, enjoyed the game. Would like to have more power and EGG DESTRUCTION tho XD
Very fun but pretty hard game! Great art style and humor, I got a kick out of the enemy eggs. I especially appreciated the inclusion of the grenade. Constructive feedback: the reload time felt really long, I wanted to keep blasting!
[I did not play the post-jam version]
Love the models, and the graphics overall actually. I've seen eggs in my life but these were definitely the scariest ones. Fun gameplay, was quite hard for me, yet still enjoyable - so I think that's a plus. good entry!
What I certainly didn't expect was a leaderboard :) And it doesn't look like a fake. That's cool.
@andrey-zhukov Thanks for playing my game. The leaderboard is definately not a fake :) After my first Ludum Dare (48) I decided that I need a leaderboard for my future games, so I created a leaderboard service specially for LD. I already used it in LD49 and now. It's totally free so you can use it next time if you want (it's very easy to integrate in with unity). Here is a post about this from LD49: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/unstable-potions/free-online-highscore-service-for-jamers (i forgot to re-post it before LD50 :(
Oh I love the idea of this game and the gameplay also feels really smooth. Also, graphically it can definitely compete with the best entries here. I will also make sure to check out your leaderboard the next time we are participating here :)
I loveeee this game! This is one of my favorites so far.
- Graphics were absolutely perfect. The eggs with the spider robot legs and the egg beaters...awesome. The environment had a nice low poly style to it, the gun was nice and sci-fi looking, and the particle FX were great! - Sounds (for things that had them) were also really well done. - Gameplay loop was really solid. Two different enemies (one to chase you, one for reactor) was a very good decision. I think just having one or the other would have gotten stale quickly
A few notes of feedback (i see you have made post-jam changes already, but i will pretend like i didnt see the patch list :P ) - Mostly i just wish there was more feedback to the player: - Black egg robots should probably have some kind of sound they make when they fire so you know they're attacking. The red ui bar is tough to see go down and you're not always looking at the gen - When something is in danger of dying, there should be a warning symbol on the screen or maybe a sound effect of some kind - Hard to tell which generator is which. When reactor X is dying, I would like to see something big in the environment near the reactor that says X, so i know which one to go to
Honestly other than that it was a damn near perfect game jam entry...great job!
@william-corrin Thank you very much for playing my game and for the feedback. I really appreciate it! I also played & rated your game - it was really fun! Good work!
Very cool man, loved that you added a leader board.
