Nice game! How may bosses are there, I keep falling off after second one.
It was fun, but I found it a bit too punishing, I didn't want to have to do the whole balancing part over when I lost to the boss, I just wanted to try the boss again.

Really fun game, the visuals were really good and the gameplay was good. Only 2 bits of feedback. Maybe instead of the enter key to attack it should be space, because since it's enter, my hands cross over a fair bit. Also, sometimes when going into the balancing sections, I immediately fall off with no chance of starting to recover. Other than these it's actually a really good game.
Very cool that the camera is offcenter. Reminds me of The Pathless. I also liked the 2D character sprites in 3D environments. You don't see that very often these days and I realize it was probably due to time constraint but I think it's very charming in this 3rd person context. I'd love to see a fleshed out version of this.

@maggardjosh, @squirmonkey yes i have put checkpoint after each boss but you need to walk a little to reach it (there is a sound when you reach it), but for some reason the balance may be too punitive and you can fall. I need to check that!!!Thanks for your comment !
@turncoda Yes i like too the mix between 2D/3D, i'd planned to made better sprite (for the character) but not enought time to polish it. I think too there is a lot of thing to make using the two methods ! Thanks for your comment !
Simply brilliant. I did notice when you take a boss crystal and go on the next path, you might fall down instantly before reaching the next checkpoint, and have to go to and fight the same boss again.
@iori-branford (i like king of fighter too), thanks for your comment, i looked that after your comment and i think it's fix now (i made the fix).
Made it through all the bosses to be at peace. Not sure what to say for this one. I liked the interpretation of the theme, and it made for a pretty atmospheric experience. On the path sections I found i was just looking at the coloured dots and so not paying any attention to the environment or character which is a shame. I liked the pixel art in 3d style. Gameplay was compelling enough to keep me retrying to the end and the music helped a lot for the surreal vibe. A fun experience.
I really enjoyed this. The balancing mechanic is immediately clear and imo progresses in difficulty at a nice pace, and I also enjoyed the boss fights, they were definitely a welcomed surprised to break the pacing a bit and rest my wrist.
My only criticism is that I would've made it an auto runner because my hand gets kinda awkward holding W while gently caressing A and D, and I felt no need to stop walking forward. Outside of the lil glitches in the sky and ceiling the overall atmosphere is very dream like even if the character art is a bit on the rougher side, and the music only complimented that mood.
@achehex Thanks for your comment, i had an issues with the randomize cloud height in the HTML5 version (that didn't work exactly like the Windows version), if i use the fonction at the same moment the result was identic, and when you try to draw polygon at the same position this can be glitchy, but it's fixed now i created a custom random function.For the autorun, i prefer that the player have the liberty to avance or not,because it's your decision. (sorry for your wrist, there is a pause with press escape).I like you appreciated the mood global of the game !
Really nice game, I managed to finish it. The mood was really nice, the gameplay well designed yet a bit repetitive once you mastered it.
Nice mechanics. At some point i couldn't get central gems for some time, especially first one, idk why, is it a bug or there some rule?
@andreman I've no encounter this problem in my playtest (HTML and Windows). The gem is really a t the middle of the circle maybe the collision box is too small but there is normally no problem. In which version Did you had the problem ? The game was laggy or not ? If you stay in the gem a moment you take it ?Else the gem role was to realign the character for the next phase and after you can continue the path nothing other, that's not very bad if you can't really get it.
@robowarrior1982 I played Html version: i went through gem without any reaction from game. You mentioned that i need to stay in it some time? I didn't that if i correctly remember
PS Graphic solusion is rare and nice looking)

Balance and boss fights mechanic looks very simple but still enjoyable . Also i like your 2d style. In balance part if you will add auto walk it will be more good.
This game answers the question "what if Tony Hawk was a 2d anime schoolgirl?". I liked this! Any game jam submission with more than one game mode is really impressive, and while the gameplay was pretty simple, the balancing part was challenging and the boss fights were visually interesting, so I was never bored. Well done!
Awesome unique aesthetics! I think standing still during the balancing part could have been used to further stabilize. And I would have loved to have some balancing elements during the boss fights. Overall very solid entry and tells a nice little finished sotry.
@bassguitarbill ahah ! You have find my inspiration ! With the annoncement of the theme, i thinked about the mechanics of the grind/manual in TonyHawkProSkater3, and i tryed to made it and i have made things around ;)

Fun to play balancing game with fun boss fight mechanics. The 2D/3D mashup worked great and the graphics suited the game well. Good stuff all round.

The art style is great, especially with the boss designs.
I have defeated all the demons! Very nice atmosphere with a wide view of the built-up space+music fits it very good.

I absolutely love the concept here.
Boss design was a bit simplistic and easy to spam, but there was clear pattern progression. The rooftop segments were tricky but I felt like I was getting better each time.
The aesthetic you've got going here is fantastic as well.
Overall really nice work!
