Cool little game, a real tongue twister, had to read the spoiler to figure out the coder, after that it was pretty much plane sailing, I like that you have to think abit and figure out some new torch combos to get further in the game! ^^,
Great game! took a while to figure out the code part, but eventually got it. love the whole torch puzzle idea. Not much to say on how to improve on it, but art is solid, mood fits, and hits the theme solidly!
@aliz0r @dummydojo Thanks for playing and for the feedback <3
Very cool graphics!

The graphics really stand out ! Good job to the designer
@martin-delemotte @ramelio Thanks, it's acutally my sister first try doing pixel art or any kind of art for a game, I'm stunned by the result as much as you XD

Great atmosphere. Really liked how the story and mechanics got introduced. You can see a lot of effort went into the visuals and audio in this one!
This is a very good game, love the art style and the music. Very nice puzzles, little consufing to get around which considering the premise of the game is spot on. Great work!

I wanted to finish this game, but while fiddling around with the UI I opened the menu, read "back", clicked on it instinctively cause I wanted to go back to playing the game and it returned me to the main menu instead, losing all my progress. I wanted to start a new game, but the game bugged as I clicked "start".
I like the concept, smart way to make a long game with relatively few assets.
Nice tutorial! The first room with the torches was a little hard to figure out but everything else was pretty smooth. Well done!
A good and simple puzzle game. I don't really have any complaints. the art was great. everything worked properly and was well designed. I think should've probably opted out of the audio category, since the song (I believe) was written by somebody else, but beyond that I absolutely love what you've done here and am amazed it only took three days

Very solid. Obviously, graphics and overall mood are nice, but I liked the take on the mechanic quite a lot. Simple, elegant quest giving that Choose Your Own Adventure feeling. Great job!

This game has wonderful graphics, and neat style. But the movement of the character is a bit off, the main character feels like he is flying half the time, and the sound effects felt really off a detracted from the rest of the game. 4 torch memorization looping cavern was a good take on theme. Other than that you've got your self a pretty good experience with some polish.

Very funny game, it took like 1-2 mins to understand the mechanic. The music and the graphics are prefect. Good story.

A very interesting concept. I actually felt lost before taking notes where some of the NPCs where.
The sprites and most sounds are fitting (damn that green snail!), but the movement feels off somehow.
Unfortunately, I once clicked the "Back to Main Menu" button in the backpack while absentmindedly thinking it was the "Back to Game" button :D. I didn't lose too much progress though.
I really liked how the background music added to the mood of being stuck in a labyrinth.
The ending feels like this game is a prologue to something greater.

Love the graphics, mood, audio and the presentation. It was a bit confusing for me to understand. I was personally not a fan of the Super Mario puzzle xD. Game itself is quite good and well made.
@gnx @ninowolfie @appoxgames @unhandyred @tefatika Thanks for playing and for the Feedback <3
@tefatika Thanks for pointing out the bug, when you pressed the item bag the game pauses and then go to the main menu and when we start again it stays paused which causing the freeze hhhh what a funny bug, I'm uploading a fix right now.
@unhandyred I agree with you about the music for the background music it's free from 'freemusicarchive', but I did some SFXs and also the audio manipulation on them and the background music to fit the game all adds up to the full music experience since I did all the work on it I considered leaving it.
Cool and fresh idea of labirynth-solving game. (can't name it puzzle though, there is no logical guess, just back-and-forth method) Could use some built-in map-making tool, especially if you decide to make game bigger and add some conditional transitions (e.g. Up-Down-Up-Down leads to romm 7, but from roon 5 it leads to secret room) Nice graphics and music, potential for a great story. No bugs, a bit umcomfortable jumping. Gives the "A-ha!"-feeling when you get it how it works. Good job!
Nice game, cosy mood and music :). Had to see the spoilers to figure out the code too. Nice little attentions given to details. GG :)

What a great game! This was by far the most innovative game I have played this ludum dare and maybe also the most fun one.
I really liked that the controls were explained to you but you had to find out how the core mechanics worked.
Maybe you could notify the player that he has found everything he needs. I somehow missed it and spent some time searching for rooms I had not yet visited until I finally realized that I already had all the items.
Also I accidentally pressed back to menu once and had to start all over again. Maybe there should be a dialog box to confirm this.
The graphics were absolutely amazing and the music was great. The jump sound got a bit annoying after a while. I really appreciated that you created a tutorial. This made playing and rating your game a much more enjoyable experience!
I am really glad that I found your game and decided to try it out!
It would also be really cool if you also tried out our game :)
Pretty fun game, I really enjoyed this and the artwork was nice as well. One thing I noticed is that there is still tears in the tilemap, you should look up unity pixel perfect camera, if you have a newer version of unity it's probably installed and you can even use the newer version with lwrp
@anonim93 @firellon @savvy-community @vadzim Thanks for playing and for the Feedback <3
@kolocop Thanks for playing, yeah the character movement gave me some trouble, the thing was if I lowered the jump power the player will not have the annoying ceiling head pump but in exchange, he'll not be able to jump from down all the way up, so I had to settle for this, do you have any recommendations?
@jatdev Thanks for playing <3 the movement as I said in the comment above you and that Bug has already got patched.
@tigerija Thanks for playing and for the Feedback, You're the first one to guess where the main mechanic came from hhhhh nice job I always loved it and wanted to make a game on so this jam was perfect for it.
@areywarlord Thanks for playing and for the Feedback, and yes it's not a sole puzzle game more of an exploration/adventure type of game. and really thanks for the suggestions I'll keep them in mind for sure.
@cambryx Thanks for playing and for the in-depth comment, and It so good to see that something you thought about in the design of the game worked hhhh.
@radgegames Thanks for playing, I tested the games a lot and fixed all the tearing but maybe I've missed some, I saw the pixel-perfect camera added to the scene and then removed it I don't know why I never used it before so I didn't want to risk it, but I'll give it a try now, thanks for the suggestion
great idea with white outline! game is great and idea with tutorial is amazing. maybe notification of all things collected and more neutral jump sound would boost it a little. we also did pixelart with platform motive but its waaaay other :sweat_smile:
@mirakazumi Thanks for playing <3 you can check the item bag for all the items hhhh and yes I'm beating my self over the that jump sound,it was the best that I could find :(

Really fun, the atmosphere is really cool ! The labyrinth is a nice concept and I loved playing your game ! :D
@ananas-j Thansk for playing and your kind words <3
@fadrikalexander still amazing job!
Story telling in a game jam!? :) For some strange reason I though I had to carry a torch with me to light up the others so when I first encountered the ghost I didn't realize he was saying "go right" but rather I thought he was saying "take the light" so I kept going left to grab the torch but I could not and whenever I kept going to him he would stop me and tell me the same thing again. I got myself stuck in a loop! lol Until I realize I just need to walk passed him :D Beautiful artwork, love the color pallet, and the audio/lighting really sold the mood. Nicely done.
@prodigalson hhhhh wait what a loop I didn't intend of putting in my game I guess, Thanks for playing and for the feedback <3

Nice use of the theme - pretty oldschool puzzle feeling. The calm music was pretty fitting too. But maybe have the back to menu button harder to press by mistake. I needed only the key in the safe and dropped from the inventory screen back to the beginning. Sure it was my mistake but it felt bad xD
@willoxs Thanks for playing, and sorry for the button, I'll upload a fix soon.

Unfortunately I struggled with figuring out how to get where, just when I thought I was getting the hang of it, I'd find out I was wrong! Nevertheless, it's a nice entry. The graphics are great and it has a nice feel to it. Well done.
Wow that is confusing but in a good way. Nicely put together and plenty to give. Great entry
@garys yeah the game is all about figuring out how to move around the underworld, thanks for playing <3

really funny game and nice concept.
@neowhoru Thanks for playing <3
Well that was fun. I couldn't remember how I got into any of the rooms so I wandered around randomly, and then I got to the safe room and didn't understand the instructions so I left that room and was ready to give up until I went back and read your spoilers. So I found the safe room again but couldn't remember which torches I used so I had to try every combination of changing the code by one (there's only 16 of them).
The game looks rather pretty, the music is great and the mood is perfect. Gameplay is a bit confusing but figuring it out is part of the fun.

This definitely is one game that will go to the top this LD! Really nailed the theme in a good way, graphics are great, music and sound is great and the all around mood is perfect! Really great job, wasn't able to figure out the key combo sadly, but had a good time playing! :)
@sawtan Thanks for playing <3 top 500 and I'll be one happy guy
