A very contemplative game. The background music is very atmospheric. I was missing any interactions with objects

coderaurus 2020-10-05 12:43

Very chill, heart-warming game. I tried to activate objects by scratching them :D

linus-lindberg 2020-10-05 16:22

Brilliant concept, and very well executed!! Loved the way the music got more complex as you discovered your suroundings! Mood and Audio are definate fives! :)

cnewt 2020-10-05 22:05

I'm gonna agree with Linus for this one. It was very cool when things started appearing.

jimanzium 2020-10-06 16:23

Really nice and refreshing to play something like this. You did a great job with building the atmosphere of the game. Loved the sounds, the pace and the text.

zepapa 2020-10-06 17:51

This game goes down an artistic route that is so rarely seen in video games. It does a great job at it as well. Everything from the silhouette graphics to the sublte music were spot on for a game like this. It was relaxing, fun to discover. I left off wanting more but knowing that more would be too much. So well done and thought out. Great work!

It's really beautiful! Amazing mood, great idea, solid execution. Loved the music and sound effects. One of my favorite entries so far in this jam. Very well done!

rodgems 2020-10-06 20:14

This is absolutely **gorgeous**!!!

The atmosphere, the music, the writing. Beautiful! I prefer emotional over mechanically impressive, and I'm glad to have found another jammer that targetted that area!

Brings back memories of the end of Little Inferno <3

I really liked taking the idea of "stuck in a loop" and applying it to your game thematically. The music was really beautiful and I love how it reinforced the idea of finding pleasure in all the unexpected little details of your life. Awesome job!

madbookstudios 2020-10-06 23:31

This is unbelievably nice. It's so profound and moving... I really, really liked it. Something about deciding to return home to a smiling family was just wonderful :') I liked the little detail like making the eye look at the mouse too. The art and music was gorgeous - top marks from me!

judgezedd 2020-10-07 15:45

Very atmospheric and a lovely interpretation of the theme. Well done on all fronts. Especially impressive for being under Competition rules.

mrschlag2 2020-10-07 19:25

A Very peacefull and pleasant game, thanks for this moment :)

getsky 2020-10-07 22:15

It was a very meditative and ambient experience, the sound design and graphics were on point. It made me feel happy and relieved! I don't know if it needed platforming levels, I think it's great just the way it is.

thomas-volpato 2020-10-08 17:06

It was a relaxing experience, nice to play, however I miss some objects to interact. The graphics and sounds are well conected with the mood of the game.

sayuri 2020-10-08 17:46

That game make me feel that thing ... that felling. It's like a melancholic happines that I only feel from games.

This was an experiance.

cogcomp 2020-10-08 18:40

What a nice game. Feel relaxed after that. Nice work!

thesedatedprince 2020-10-08 18:50

This is absolutely gorgeous. Really drew me in, and the music fits the mood perfectly. If I had one minor point, it'd be quite nice to have some visual indicator of the mouse at the very beginning - after reading the instructions mentioning there was mouse control, I was convinced it was a bug that the pointer wasn't present until I hit that second loop. But otherwise, absolutely excellent.

hicko 2020-10-08 18:53

Nice game , i loved the mood

madnesssguschenka 2020-10-08 18:54

It's me looking into the future :)

Thanks for this experience!

Hi Erk, I enjoyed testing and playing your little game! It's got a good atmosphere and charming music+graphics, well done! The color scheme reminds me a bit of Welcome to Night Vale, now that I think about it. Small visual feedback on the cursor would be nice when you're looking at things, but that's just nitpicking. Oh and I looked at the timelapse video, cool idea with the hats :D

elpadlos 2020-10-09 11:28

OOO! Man, you won me over. You did it alone! This is great. It was a very good game. I played with great pleasure. Good luck with the jam.

ramble-house-games 2020-10-09 14:21

This is a great little experience. I really admire your ability to take a few simple elements and assemble them into something with a great emotional impact. Well Done.

jitspoe 2020-10-28 10:57

Love all the hats in the timelapse. Nice to see a fellow man of many hats!

erkberg 2020-10-28 17:08

@jitspoe As a solo gamedev, you just have to wear all of 'em hats! :)

erkberg 2020-10-28 17:11

And @everyone who voted and left feedback: I'm very glad you all liked the game and that it invoked some emotions in you. It was very heartwarming to read all your lovely comments, thank you all so much! I'm quite speechless at the moment seeing that rank in the mood category, but of course also super happy :)
