I like the idea a lot! The controls seem a little unintuitive at first, but you can learn them quickly, and the way it uses clockwise/counterclockwise is very unique and allows for some fun and creative maneuvers. One of the most unique interpretations of the theme I've seen so far as well, with good art on top of that. I really appreciate the bus's butt. I think some really interesting strategic play could be around the corner here if you better explained to the player how the police's movement works: For example, they prioritize going straight, then going right, then lelft. However, none of these are things _wrong_ with your game, just ways to make a good game better.

My two biggest gripes, though, are that the default speed is a little slow (although this is a nitpick considering you can speed it up), and that the background is very bland. Even if it's just 2-3 building/tree tiles, or some dirt thrown in with the grass, you could really improve the visual quality of your game by spicing up the background a bit. Otherwise, very nice job!

> The controls seem a little unintuitive at first

Pick with mouse is not fun but when we pick with the keyboard is more fun that with mouse.

Graphics/audio are great but the maps/tiles background are little forgot (I mean a little bit too neutral^^ depending of the rest of your game). :sob:

the controls were strange at first (i think directional arrows might have been better). the puzzle aspect was great. thanks for making it.

Really liked the art and music, the fast forward button was a great addition! Overall great job!

Great UI animation! Would be cool to have stronger feedback when choosing direction. Loved the "AY!" sound and the inclusion of a fast forward button was a good choice! Well done!

I love love love how you implemented the theme! It's unique, it's different and the mechanics to me appeared quite clear from the start.

My main criticism is from a game-level-balance perspective, as I felt that the cop level was a bit frustrating cause he seems to be slightly quicker and too smart - at least for a 2nd level :see_no_evil:

BUT, the audio, assets are very nice and work very well together - maybe make the map bigger so that people can see the assets with more detail, because I am a fan of that bus's design and I wanted to see it closer. THE BUM. :peach: was great.

Haha, cool little game, the controls were quite hard to grasp, but once I got that under control it was a nice experience!

Very hard to understand buttons meaning (even if readed all main screen, may be some direction arrows will be more intuituve). Only one savior was a speed up button :)

I like how it shakes its butt when it drives north XD I don't think the keyboard was needed for the controls though. Just cycle through the 4 options.

Fun game. Love the music!

Great game! The music gives a good vibe and the party bus sprite adds a great deal to the humor of the game. The controls were a little confusing at first, I thought the wasd were controlling the bus, rather than the tiles I clicked. Once I understood though the game was a lot of fun!

Very stylish and entertaining game. The sprites are looking very smooth and professional. I especially like the atmospheric details from the changing music when you pick up party-goers to the bus booty waggling to the beat. The difficulty curve is good and you explain things very understandable but not to extensive. I personally stoped the second level after you introduce the party-goers that can be picked up by cops aswell. At that point the indirect time limit and numbered tiles you can place plus the different mechanics got too much for me too handle.

Overall, I liked it very much :)

Very amusing and surprisingly difficult (or maybe I'm just dumb haha), nice work!

i loved the humor in this game! i also really enjoyed having to orient myself on the fly in order to be able to pick the correct direction - that was definitely a welcome little challenge! i agree with dreamcastgh0st above that having some insight into how the cops move would definitely go a long way toward helping you feel like you have a little more control over the situation. i did love the theme and the style though, it was fantastic! keep the party alive!

edit: i also freely admit that i'm a huge dum dum and didn't try and maneuver the cops around with the lights at first. good god. maybe have that in big red text for people like me who are going to just not think all the way through a mechanic? lmao that's also... man i really should have thought of that.

adriczero 2020-04-24 10:39

Great take on the theme. First level was simple enough. But on the second level I really couldn't figure out how to avoid the cop car. Nice music track and graphics very polished.

dextreon 2020-04-24 11:12

hahahaha! I loved the "eghhhh" sound, hilarious! Really nice idea, it was difficult to play through the levels but engaging at the same time, that's an achievement, congrats for the nice work!! :ok_hand:

I was about to say that I was missing some shorcuts for the tiles, but the I realized that I didn't even read the instructions. Anyway some in game hint would help. Nice game and nice theme interpretation.
