Nice entry! I really like the one-bit pixel art, and the movement and controls were all pretty smooth. A couple times I died of hunger because I forgot I had to eat (it might be nice to have some sort of visual or sound indication if it gets too low.
Object permanence is great! We need more bunny corpses on this website.
Cool game.
Loved the bunnies, carrots and whatever that vegetable I was throwing was. Felt a bit like Mario 2. I wish I had a better way to protect the high ground. It felt like I had to choose, and had no real chance to fully defend.
Really cool game. I loved the art and sound. It took me a second to figure out a strategy, but once I got going it was a lot of fun! So many bunnies!

Cute game art and gameplay! Thanks for gamepad support, by the way.

@cagibi Glad the gamepad worked, wasnt able to test it with "standard" controllers
Those little rabbits are so cute! Wait, why are there soooooo many of them! They are as crazy as march hares! Oh they ARE hares XD
The game is really satisfying. I like watching the carrots grow. Also eating them. ~~And killing rabbits.~~
Really Liked the art style and music was pretty cool too, was pretty hard to aim those turnips and get them to hit.. maybe the bunnies ramp up a bit fast too. Was a bit annoying to have to refresh the browser for a retry, but nice to have gamepad support. stylish

Love it! The art is cute, and the mix of running around for carrots and throwing them around is pretty unique and super engaging. Throwing those mini turnips is just fun :)
Great game!
I love the art and audio - great style! And fun gameplay on top of it... nice work.

God, that was adorable! I liked the floaty physics most, it makes it feel like we're fighting moon rabbits in space :D Really neat sound choices, too.

Nicely done! The sounds and visuals are very nice. The game is also pretty fun! I don't really like how it fits with the theme though, since you just have to keep the player alive, which is what you do in most games. Overall its a great game, good job!
Great game! the gameplay had a nice risk reward between eating and throwing the food. I didn't understand immediately that I needed to protect the carrot but after my first loss I figured it out. really addictive gameplay. I'd say one of the best games I've played yet. Some sex and music would be nice but I understand no having time for that. good job!
I loved the one bit graphics! The game is really fun and cute, but it gets hard to handle so many bunnies once they start to spawn. (I suppose that makes sense with the title, though.) I enjoyed having to juggle using your radishes to eat or to throw, that was a really smart idea to add some depth to a game this simple.

@1punnyguy44 assuming you meant sfx and music, the game has those! What browser and os did you use? would love to know, so i can fix those audio issues in my engine!
@malai oh ok I was in safari. I tried it in chrome and it does indeed work there. going back to bump up your rating in audio ;)

Lovely game. Solid mechanics, nice retro look and sounds. Jumping and throwing feels a bit slow but otherwise really good. Great polish for a Compo entry ^^

Cute little game! But "Refresh to restart"? Cmon :D

@finnhax my game engine does not have the concept "scene" or "clearing the world", something to implement for next time for sure :D
Much Respect for using your own engine.
Wow. Really? Your own engine? Ok this makes this game even more interesting. The black and white graphics is not so much my type but I understand where you wanted to go. Good work!

Okay it took me a moment until I realized I have to defend the carrot :) I even plugged in my Xbox controller. It worked well, but the rabits from above destroyed me and they became so many! It has a nice gameplay loop, unfortunately your engine does not support a restart :P that's a little bummer if you want to play several rounds and of corse for the score. But very impressive, I love when people bring their own engines. You can be proud about your bunny plague :)
