Nice and simple! Having to manually control the camera is a interesting twist on "press the button at the right time" but I found that once I found the right speed I could just leave the mouse in place and I could continue forever. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.
I think mixing up the gameplay in one way or another would give it more longevity but I'm not immediately sure how I would do that.
@pulkit-garg Thank you!
@sayumeki Thanks for the comment :) You are right, the game could use a few changes as you progress. As for controlling the camera, I just wanted the player to be able to see the game from the view that they wanted. Though I should have made it more a part of the game.
Liked it! Would like more varied gameplay but nice graphics and audio. Was fun seeing the wave develop. Nice!
Nice entry! Congrats on your finishing your first jam. :)
@jetthesimon and @drunkardwolf Thanks!
Very cool concept. Definitely a unique take on the theme. I liked the cheering sound effects you recorded as well. Good job!
This was a really fun concept. Took some time to get into the rhythm. And sometimes the camera went really fast. But great game, played if for a long while :smile:
Congrats on finishing a game for your first jam! It was quite a fun game, I would love some more feedback on the right time to click the button though, either that or I generally suck ^^" good job!
Very interesting game!
I'm going to start by saying that I suck at rhythm games, sadly x3
However, it didn't stop me from really enjoying it!
The way you made this idea of keeping the wave going into a rhythm game is hands down my favorite thing about this, it's just a very smart idea!
The audio is nice, it feels like there really is a crowd waving, so yeah! :D
The graphics are minimalistic, but they look good!
Overall, this is a pretty fun game !
Congrats!

The audio on this is absolutely hilarious and I love it. "Come on, man..."
It was a bit tricky for me to figure out what to do with the mouse button, I kept getting it wrong...
Cool original concept!
Thank you everyone for the feedback :)
@harry-alissavakis Yes, I should make it more apparent as the wave crosses a section. I will think of ways to improve this.
@captainabi The mouse button does nothing XD, you only use mouse position to have the camera look where you want. I should have been more clear in the instructions.
Very original! I really like it and engaged me to go as far as possible. Honestly no constructive feedback; it's very solid.
I don't know if you can call this a rhythm game, but it feels like one. I sat for a long time seeing how far I could go. I love the fact that you took something as simple as a wave and made is work perfectly for this competition. Nice work!
This is definetly my favorite entry so far. The graphics are simple but I think they fit perfectly the concept. Sound effects are really good too and the gameplay is smooth. You did an amazing job here. Congratulations on your entry!
Thanks everyone!
@fizzyapple12 I guess it is a rhythm game!
Since Flap Bird, It's the more simple innovative game! This is a casual game, but could be a game for learning typing. Keep with this project! I think the possible for a mobile game is change the keys for colors same a guitar hero.
@rodrigo-castro Yes! I will consider making it a mobile game, thanks for the idea.
nice idea! simple yet entertaining
This was a really unique game! It was intuitive but more challenging than I expected- how hard can it be to type one letter at a time, right? I found myself wanting to play "one more round" every time I lost. Great job!
Hahaha funny game. It was also pretty good. I like the concept and how it was put into a game. The timing was well programmed. It works very well great job!
Ahah, simple and nice, sound effects are as fun as great, well done.
Very nice for a first jam, glad you had fun! Its a nice take on a rhythm game. I especially the like the losing sound affect (come on man).
Thank you
Simple idea, well done. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/rlppIbg4aVI
@jupiter-hadley Thanks for playing my game! It's the mouse's horizontal position in the game which controls the camera speed (more to the right will make it faster). You are right, the instruction is unclear (a lot of people didn't understand how the mouse worked). I will explain it better in future releases, or maybe change the way the camera works.
Best stadium wave simulator that I have ever played.
@dingotime lmao thanks
I like the cheering! Interesting take on the theme too, and congrats on your first Ludum Dare
Great concept jejej i liked the mood and the use of the theme. Audio and graphics are well made too. Very good job!
wow quite unique idea and the audio work is great, good job on your first jam
Definitely has a unique charm to it. The mechanice was almost perfect, thought it was a little hard for me to time it right. Not sure if more visual feedback is needed or if I just suck. The cheering sound was great, you blended the states together really well.
Pretty fun rythm game! The audio was pretty fun too, and after a few tries, the "c'mon man" really started getting to me XD The idea to incorporate the mouse was interesting, though admittedly I only used it once to set the speed to a fixed value that felt good and then kept it that way. anyway, nice job ^^
One of my favorite Compo Games so far. I got a highscore of 91 don't know if that is much or little :D
I really enjoyed the sound effects. The Graphics are simplistic but charming.
If there is one thing that I would have changed it would be the rng. I would have used a bag system instead of plain rng. (Check this if you don't know what I mean: https://gamedevelopment.tutsplus.com/tutorials/shuffle-bags-making-random-feel-more-random--gamedev-1249)
"Make the game less random to make it feel more random"

Thank you everyone for the feedback :)
@ausstein 91 is a really highscore! My personal record is 56.
Thanks for telling me about the bag system for random generation: I am now using it in the update I am working on. I use it to randomly select the sound effects (the cheers the people make). Before (in this current version) the game could play the same sound twice at the same time, which is ugly. With the bag system, this doesn't happen and the game sounds much nicer. This system could also be used in my other games. Thanks a lot!
@inflamedgums Thank you! On the update I am working on I decided to completely remove the mouse mechanic because it doesn't do much. The camera will automatically adjust itself to follow the wave. Also, this will be a mobile game, so controlling the camera would be weird.
