Twitch integration in 3 days is impressive. Would be nice to see as an extension in the future, so it could be played by chat while streaming something else.

loiclegrosfrere 2019-04-29 23:26

I think it could be really cool, but, I do not feel that my actions do something... Maybe it's a lack of feedbback of what do what we buy (maybe it would be cool to have some common pot

ilprinny 2019-04-29 23:31

I like the idea of a kinda MMO Idle game, just wish I could tell which one is me. Love it tho and will keep it open for a bit (wiseolive)

EDIT just realized that we arent the villagers. I get it now Really cool

liauj 2019-04-29 23:51

This is awesome! Thought we were supposed to be the villagers, would have been cool seeing us walking around

hybbaron 2019-04-30 00:45

Thats a cool idea. Any intention to the future?

cuppycat 2019-04-30 02:50

Interesting game! Still playing at the moment, but as someone else said, it'd be fun if it had Twitch users/players names for villagers for example :)

jasond 2019-04-30 03:18

Agree with most of the comments here - very interesting concept, and impressively polished. But would be great to see more direct feedback/indication of individual players' influence on the game world, and of objectives!

lot9s 2019-04-30 04:24

This is super innovative! I'll probably keep playing this well after the LD44 has officially ended.

sheepolution 2019-04-30 09:24

Very interesting! I like that you added details like rain and clouds, and how it gets night and day. The problem I have with the game is that it's not really clear to me how well we're doing. Stuff is also very expensive. I have to stay in chat for like an hour or two to be able to buy a house. Though maybe that's just the pace you were going for. But it surely is really cool to see a Twitch game made for Ludum Dare, good job!

someday-not-today 2019-04-30 11:06

Wow, it's awesome.

jeremy-ryan 2019-04-30 17:09

Awesome for a jam game! I don't think I've see a Twitch plays as an entry before.

It would be cool if there were more ways to interact.

andidebob 2019-04-30 21:47

What a really impressive entry for the time given! A really cool twist on the whole twitch plays idea.

Good Job!

Can't believe I spent my hard earned money spawning a goat just for some rando to kill it. I only wish there was a way to take a slightly more active role in money making. It's gonna take me forever to get a house.

I like the graphics, and the wind sound with the super subtle swaying of the camera makes for a pretty chill viewing expression.

goomboo 2019-05-01 12:51

Probably the most innovative game I've seen in this jam so far ! It's such a shame this kind of game needs a larger player base to actually work, but it definitively has a lot of potential

Good work !

valden 2019-05-01 12:56

A very interesting concept, but there isn't much to do unfortunately.

flayerwolf 2019-05-01 14:32

Legendary idea and very creative, this can become somethinf great...

lexyvil 2019-05-01 22:32

Really neat idea! It makes wish there were more commands players could use to interact with the game, other than wait for money to spend it. But I'm not complaining, it's part of the theme~ We do need more games like this though, that unites viewers and have them play together. Good job!

matthewpoletin 2019-05-02 13:14

Amazing approach into twitch integration genre! Extremely rewarding to play in teams! Highly captivating to watch our village to grow and affect it's life piece by piece. Hope you won't stop digging in this directions!

jordantanner 2019-05-07 11:01

I think the Twitch integration concept is really cool, are there a lot of games out there like this already, or is the concept fairly new? Either way, I really like it. I had some trouble telling what was going on in the game, maybe more feedback for the player could help with this. All in all, solid entry. Nice job!

drskort 2019-05-07 13:06

The idea behind this game is amazing ^^ It's kind of a coop strategy game and you can play it on twitch ^^ The graphics could be improved but the sounds are really nice ^^ (except the constant door slam D:) Also it seems now like an idle game because there isn't much to do yet D: Apparently you have to wait in the stream for over 2 hours just to build a house D: Maybe it would be better when houses could be destroyed because of some event ^^ To sum it up: The game is really good and has a lot of potential ^^ I would love playing it if it would have more content :D Pls make a full version, I would be interested in playing it

josehzz 2019-05-07 23:40

I think this can easily be the beggining of a new genre. Interactions are pretty limited but expanding it could be worth a lot (closest thing to this is twitch plays ).

almost 2019-05-08 01:14

The concept is very cool and has a ton of potential.

I would really like some more explanation of what is going on though. I missed the twitch channel description initially, but even it omits some details.

I think the game is cooperative and the things that I buy do not belong to just me. I don't know what anything does though (I bought some cows and they walked off the right side of the screen and then are gone). Also, is silver = 100 bronze and gold = 100 silver? I think that animals are single-use sources of food. I don't know what the "leaf" indicator above a person means. I think hunters are the ones that kill animals.

For the UI, it would be great to see numbers for the population, the number of houses, the number of fields, and the food production and consumption rates.

Edit: '!status' is helpful (though hungry is always the same as sleepy?), '!count' doesn't do anything.

kuro 2019-05-08 06:55

Wov, cool idea

Is this a standard now? Or do people do these types of games? Last one I've seen was twitch plays pokemon.

2019-05-09 13:26

Could you rank gold spent instead of gold owned?

aevek 2019-05-09 22:06

Love this concept, such a cool idea. It would be really nice to see some kind of rewards for players that stick around and contribute to the village, but I don't know what form that could take. This game has my head full of ideas of all the new and different things you could make like this.

bakenshake 2019-05-10 19:29

This is a really cool concept. I would love to see it expanded. Reminds me of when people played Pokemon as a group. Very hive mind oriented. Reminds me of the borg a bit too. Wish there was more feedback on screen and my individual contributions.

skosnowich 2019-05-10 21:41

Very nice idea and very impressive for a jam game. I can only join the others saying that more ways to interact and some kind of ownership would be nice. Very good job and I'd also like to see this expanded and continued after the jam.

jomiak 2019-05-12 03:24

Really cool concept, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great work!

dollarone 2019-05-19 09:24

Very cool idea and cool take on the theme! I wish there was more to it than just "staying in chat" tho. Maybe some kind of bot interaction to make it more active? The various purchases are quite expensive, so it's a game optimised for idling really.

I do like the collaborative side of this - get more people to join in order to survive! Interesting stuff.
