Cool little puzzle game. Played it three times and didn't get what to do until the second time. A few screenshots in the instructions would help a lot to learn this. Third time got a high score of 172. I played it in browser but I can see how this would be a neat little mobile game to have. I did have one instance where a coin fused with two coins simultaneously, though it would be difficult to replicate I think. Music was well done and the sound effects were spot on. Very fun overall. Screen.png Have fun out there!
Very nice take on a puzzle game. Textures on pieces look good and obviously the core loop is in tact. Very GOOD JOB BUD!!!!!!!
On mobile you can't see the coins, but got to see it during presentation good game
@phlip45, thank you for your feedback! We're trying to polish everything before the deadline. Hopefully we can get those pain points sorted out. Oh, and for the record, you're beating my high score. I've only got 117 :(
@brandon-n, It sounds like you're trying to play the game through your phones browser, correct? If that's the case, Unity WebGL is not supported on mobile browsers. Please use a desktop browser or sideload the .apk to an android device.
@phlip45, it's on highscore.png

I feel like I could go on longer than this, but the controls stopped working at some point and I couldn't drag the coins anymore. It is a relaxing game once you understand how to play. Also found it hard to distinguish between the blue and orange and the yellow and pink coins when they are near the top center of the screen because of glare from the light on the table.
this is addicting! i'm so jealous of the other's high score. Mine was only 47. Almost gave up figuring how to play this. A simple tutorial would really help. But once I got the hang of it, it is very challenging. It would be great if there's a way to get rid of the face coins. But overall, a good and interesting interpretation of the theme!
@phlip45 Interesting. My team encountered that bug Saturday, but we weren't able to reproduce it. We'll have to keep digging. Thanks!
wow that is a satisfying and stressful game. Took me a bit to figure it out but man it was fun.highscore.PNG I dont know how you guys get such high scores
Wow! Okay, so it took me 2 or 3 tries to figure out that the "swipe a coin to its match" meant like "blue with orange ring" matches "orange with blue ring". After that, my score went from 6 to like, 70 something. Awesome game!
Really interesting and unique puzzle mechanic, and a nice way to use the theme. It was strangely relaxing to play, and I'll probably revisit this at some point to play it again.
nice game, and good idea. I like the Audio. Much better then mine.
Agreed with others that the instructions could use some improvement, but it's a nice little puzzle game with great audio and graphics. Good work!
Thanks for your feedback, @rubixnoob13 @historymaker118 @nik2434 @landosystems! I'll see if my team can whip up a more polished about/tutorial sometime this week.
Great game! I get stressed out by time limits, so there was a mode without one. For example, it could start out in a full board with random tiles and you scored based on how many moves it took you to get down to 1 tiles, or something like that. Still, awesome concept and execution.
Really interesting, but I read the rules multiple times and still have no clue how to play
This is addicting! Tapping coins to split them was a little finicky with my computer's touchscreen, but it didn't get in the way of the game too much. And, like @teo-miklethun mentioned, this game definitely needs a zen mode.
Oh, and I got 318 points :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Thank you for sharing your game with me. I played it on my stream tonight at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/297482480
Interesting, though I don't think I got it. I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/M4_JaetxhkY
Thanks for your feedback @saoi-games and @jupiter-hadley. The explanation of the game rules isn't very concise, and it looks like we need to spend some time tweaking the controls as well. Thanks for taking the time to cover the game!
cool take on the concept. I kept running out of space, lol. didn't come close to some of the peoples high score, but the more I played, the easier it got. good job.
This is really fun, although the control sometimes gets in the way, taking away a bit of the fun. The sound effect is satisfying as well. Overall great and unique entry, I havent seen any other games like this in this LD.

First try after the quality of life update while playing on newgrounds. The click/drag detection still feels a little off. If I move my mouse even a little while clicking it tries to drag instead of creating new coins. Still fun to play! Keep coming back to this one!
Can't wait for the leaderboard to come online =P
Looks a little bit like 2048. Cool, sometimes stressful expeirence. <3
Cool game machanics! At first I was a bit mystified about how things worked, but when I got the hang of it, it played nicely. Also looks a lot better in fullscreen than in a small window.
Thems is amateur numbers. AVARUS.PNG Please delete this game. It's too fun. Srsly though, this games got great albeit initially confusing mechanics, and fits theme really well. If I could vote on games you know I'd give you guys the highest marks. Good job!!
I was wondering if there was a way to remove the faces and keep the game going, possibly infinite but then figured it might just be a timed game. Either way, its a nice little puzzle thing and was fun to smash the coins into each other. Like the concept and the sound. Nice!
I can't click and drag the pieces after a few seconds (I've refreshed 3 times, on newgrounds and itchio). I watched all the videos and read all he comments here, and I feel like it must be a bug? The controls are just click and drag, right? It worked the first time, but afterwards, the mouse kept changing to a circle with a bar across (the no smoking sign, without the cigarette). Also, when the dragging was working (the fist time I tried), I dragged the red-green coin to the green-red coin, and it didn't do anything? Clicking to make more coins of equal value works though.
Please let me know, this game seems very fun and I can't wait to play it.
Thanks for the feedback @jerripo. There's definitely an issue with the click/drag controls on the web version. Some people run into it, some people don't. I haven't had a whole lot of time this week to track it down :(
I'll ping you here if it gets fixed, though.
Well done!
Nice game, Love how everything is balanced! Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam! Game Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42a
Concept was really food for this! Solid gameplay mechanics that worked together nicely. Thanks for sharing your game with my stream awhile back. Your game was played around 0:40 into this vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/300724241
