Cool little game, Like the artstyle and the atmosphere whithin the game. Controls however are a bit buggy jump works but not always sometimes spacebar does nothing, and sometimes it is easy to get stuck on hitboxes of platforms etc. Good effort!

Cool game with a nice atmosphere. The controls are however a bit loose. When you press jump it sometimes nothing happens, and when you stop walking the player tends to continue moving forward for a while, which makes jumping on the platforms quite challenging. Still, it has a really cool atmosphere so well done.

Great graphic and mood, but the gameplay is a bit annoying. You don't stop instantly stop when you release the key , double jump doesn't always work and wall are to sticky.

Controls definitely need tightening up. There's a delay where you keeping running and jumps don't seem to always trigger when I want them to. I'd consider marking the locked doors with their required keys to make it more clear that a key is required, the game displays a lot of text and its not always clear what applies where.

Great style and, triller vibes, gooing sound!

Might work to have a higher jump height.

I like the poem puzzle, a lot of stress with the goo approaching :)

The theme is great and I like the mood very much. But it's hard to control moving and jumping, especially the space button is laggy as hell. You may need to fix the map too, sometime the I can't even land on where I want.

I loved the art and theme. The music was spooky and the feeling of having to run away from something that slowly chases you was fun. The controls were a little clunky, but that could be a matter or getting adjusted, though I felt like the double jumped wasn't always responding. With a few more puzzle types and some cleaned up controls, this would be an excellent game.

Interesting game! Graphics look really good even though you could probably replace the default Unity skybox with something more suiting. Movement was a bit too sluggish probably.

Spooky! I liked the addition of the riddles to make it more than a simple jumping race.

I agree with what others have said about the delay when you stop running; a few of the times I died I felt like the character was out of my control.

Great game and art style. Had to stop playing in third house, i managed to get to a door but was missing the key and could not go backwards to get it. Great entry. Inspiring.

I really enjoyed the art style and the music. The ambience gave the right feel to the game. I would have liked to see more puzzles that are different as I kept getting the same ones over and over which just served to aggravate me as the game was interrupted just so I had to grab the mouse and click on something to continue. Diversity would have helped with that feeling.

Still can't jump sometimes, and one time I couldn't double jump while the game lagged. Also found the puzzles either boring (quiz) or frustrating (cards). Nice atmosphere, though.

Nice little game ! But the controls felt very unresponsive in html version, so i downloaded the windows version but it was the same.. So i think you should this the jump and move script in priority because it's very annoying.

Pros : - Good graphics ! I love the art style ! - Good music - Good concept

Cons : - Controls - Maybe it will have a better mood with a darker ambiance where you character light the path with his torchlight (because yeah, the character has one but do nothing haha) - The raising thing is too different from the art style of the character, maybe make a hand painted texture for it ? - The jump SFX - The default skybox of unity. You could just have put a dark color and it could have been super great. Seeing this default background really break the ambiance :/

Tell me if you have a new version :D

Very moody game! The quality sound effects and unique graphics style are really tops. The game feels polished. The control are not always smooth. The art style are just great. I'd love to see this game fully release with more content.

Liked the mood and the art style. Controls need work if it wants to be a platformer. It also seems like there is supposed to be a flashlight and that would have helped the mood and maybe some mechanics with it.

Interesting game! I enjoyed playing this and the levels were well crafted plus the concept fitted the theme well along with the graphics. However I found the controls quite difficult and the questions were vague with the match 2 puzzle taking vastly longer than the questions. It would be better without the difference.

1. The Controls, yeah in a Post Jam Version we will rework that. 2. The "raising thing" - "The Goo" is hand painted by me using gimp xD 3. The default skybox was overseen, we were a bit in hurry. Implementing the riddles and having 2 scenes loaded at the same time, while having a camera from that one scene render on the other was kinda complicated 4. It was intended that the cards puzzle takes longer, than the elemental questions, that's also the reason the chance to get a card puzzle is at 1/7 5. The Flashlight, yeah.. We had no time anymore :D we have some features planned for that

I hope i didn't miss a point.

We are working on a improved Postjam version, that (hopefully) fixes all these things. We also want the game to have more depth. We thought of the possibilit to stop the Goo or send the Goo to a specific direction, when certain criterias are matched etc.

@nerzal Sure, looking forward to playing a post jam version! The only downside with the card puzzle taking longer and then being random, is it feels unlucky or disappointing to recieve the card puzzle. Meaning you can get a really easy run - or if you're really unlucky a really hard run.

This game is awesome! I love the premise, the artistic style, and the challenge! I was especially impressed by the inclusion of the additional puzzles; they really added to the sense of urgency I felt while playing.

My only suggestion: I think others have pointed this out, but I did find the controls to be a bit slippery.

Very good mood! The graphics and the music are the highlights of your game imo. The movements and jumps feel a bit off. It is the part that I think needs improvements. Also I would have liked to play the game with a controller but unfortunately, jump wasn't mapped. Good work overall!
