Great concept, execution is still a little rough around the edges but I think this could become a real fun post-compo game! Nice job!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD41 → Match3 attack

It was a little hard to see which pieces we are supposed to move during the tutorial. Maybe find a way to make that stand out more. This concept is really cool, great take on the theme. Good job!
Fits the theme pretty well, I also really like the idea. I had a hard time figuring out which resources to prioritize and whether I was about to loose or win so giving some more helpful information on the right screen would have been great i think.
Nice game. The combination of genres works well and the concept is sound. Could use some polishing. If you are going to continue development, consider allowing players to place their units on the map to prevent the 'integer pushing' feeling.
@fashionbatman yeah is something i need to improve i agree. The blue box melts a bit to much with the tokens and background
@IDidGame Thanks, it was in the plans todo that but unfortunately bugfixing took to much time. Its definitely someting i will change in some post compo cleanups.
@RadioactiveRambo the idea was to actually add animation of a sorts. Like the units walking out of the barracks and take their place in a bit more pleasing way instead of just insta spawning them.
Like some people have mentioned, it's pretty hard to see what token can be moved (maybe you should make it flashing or something?), otherwise a very nice game.
Interesting concept, I definitely ran in to a few bugs along the way... The fact you are in a tutorial mode to begin with isn't super obvious, maybe allowing a click on screen to continue or something would be better.
Interesting idea, but it wouldn't let me pass the 'swap health icon' as there was no valid place to swap it to.
Unfortunately I was barely able to play this due to bugs. The concept seemed potentially okay - but it's very hard to judge how concepts are going to pan out until they're actually implemented. Definitely meets the theme, though :-)
Hmm, *"some textual errors"* indeed... it was kinda charming 😜
So on my first try, got stuck in the tutorial at this point. Attack button doesn't do anything: match3stuck.png
The I discovered a bit of a bug: match3bug.gif
And with the said bug, the game can't keep up and the noise it made almost deafened me: match3err.png
@Antti Haavikko Yeah the bug with the column is the one known bug i had. It is strange your attack button does not work tho. Thanks for the feed back and bug reports.
@jf1989 sad to hear you had so many bugs it was unplayable for you. I have tried all three levels a few times and execept the know bug as illustrated by antti haavikko i did not encounter other game breaking bugs. Thanks for your feedback though
@geeitsomelaldy Strange, the first level/tutorial is prepared so it should always match. But you might have made a match that i have not for-seen. I might need to limit the dropping position as well as the dragging position. Thanks
I feel dragging and dropping is not working right. I can't drop the health token anywhere. Graphics and game idea look promising at least. I'll revisit the game when you decide to patch it. :)
Bug Report: random wave around tokens and they others randomly change. Bug Report: First play through game froze at the end of the tutorial and didn't progress. Did on following play through though.
A nice game. Tutorial didn't always match with instructions but good for adding one (my biggest complaint on most other games!). I liked the art and layout. Mini symbols next to the stats would help, plus indication of costs and unit damage stats. Overall good effort.
I like the way you've made match 3 work with this, the idea is solid  .
I really like your concept. I've yet to see something like this from any other game submission. I'm impressed you got the game a complete as you did given the complexity and 48 hour development window. I won't rehash any of the similar issues that folks before me ran into, but, I will take the time to re-thank you for the tutorial... granted, I didn't realize I was in a tutorial when I started the game, but, upon reloading, I much appreciated it. Great job!
I liked this more than I expected. Normally I'm not a fan of match 3 games, but "matching" it with a defense/war game makes it into something pretty cool. Nice idea and nicely executed.
Tutorial was the hardest part for me to understand! Other than that, the idea is so cool! Good job 🙃
I enjoyed playing it very much, once I understood the concept :) I want more levelsssssss!
Great game, I really like the concept and the idea a lot! And I really appreciate that you added the tutorial :D Well done!
Really cool concept, I love games that mix match three with other gameplay, like 10000000 did.
Interesting concept for a match 3, however its a little hard to understand at the start. The sounds are a little harsh though, would tone them down a bit and some background music would be great. This idea has potential. Needs some explanation behind each of the various units though (er.. whats a Tank Shop?), else its just build whatever you can.
You are brave! 😮
I attempted to make a Match 3 + Tower Defense in a past hackathon, and it was the struggle of the struggles. This is literally making two games and have them talk to each other.
You've done a great job! 😄
I actually liked this one, I spent quite some time despite that the controls felt a bit weird. Really interesting concept. I would like see more of this. Good job!
