@zax Thanks for your comment!
The controls are good, but I kept throwing them hoping they land where they should. A possible improvement would be a countdown until the next order happens. Or maybe I didn't see it. Nice game
Thanks for the comment @mess110 ! And yes, in a future version we will add a count-down, good idea. :)
Not really sure what I'm meant to be doing. The commands don't seem to update either so not sure what is going on!
Cool throwing action though
Nice sorting game! My playthrough kept asking me for objects I didn't have tho, too many 2x2's when I only got 1x1s.
I would also change it so when the crates are inside of the colored zone it auto changes their color instead of needing them to reach the floor first.
@generalvivi We take your feedback ! Thank you
I just added a WebGL version for Mac and Linux users. http://lootbox-factory.azurewebsites.net/
The movement was a bit sluggish and it felt like the boxes were in water. Otherwise the theme and idea was pretty good and I imagine it could get quite fun if it had a bit more work put into it.
@muffincookie Thanks! We have not been able to fully enjoy the time that the Ludum donated. Moreover, this is our first project with Unity so it took us a long time to learn when starting the project!
I really liked the idea, the graphics could have some improvement, maybe some stamps on the boxes and stuff, a quick in-game tutorial would also be great. Great game overall!
At the beginning i didn't really get it, but after a while i got it. Good job!
Good concept, but it feels like it needs a sense of danger. Some music would be great, and the text is a bit blurry.
Having to move the camera was horrible in my opinion, but without that i would totally play this game !
@eraleis Thanks for your comments! And after reflexion yes, a static but large camera maybe a good possibility.
Throwing boxes around is always fun, but I sometimes found myself with a shortage of the types of boxes I needed.
I guess more commands with 1x1s the worse it gets!
Haha, now we know it! Each time we open a loot box, an employee somewhere suffers!
The webGL interface wasn't scaled correctly and could see like 1/2 the orders and no idea what was needed or where to put them. UI scaling for Unity was difficult at times to work out for my game, it was a bit of fun - but wished I could get the full experience.
I really don't understand this game at all.
@notpresident35 It takes 30 seconds to get the first order. This gives you time to put away your first boxes. After, just honor the orders! - Move boxes with the mouse. - The ‘livraison’ area, on the center of the scene spawn new boxes in a interval. - You must put the boxes in question in a color storage area. If not, they will be destroyed after 30 seconds. - You must do the commands. Otherwise you lose a life. - There is no win in this version. And Game Over is present if the user no longer has a life.
I didn't understand the game but the controls to move the box were great.
@Mazzletov Thanks for your comment. If you stand 30 seconds the game start, your goal is to fill orders which is displayed on the floor with your boxes. For this, you have a limited time!
I like the concept of the game but it didn't appear to update my progress. Some audio would have also been nice.
@Brouilles, I tried again but it looks like it didn't trigger my box.
Interesting concept. The first time I didn't really realize what was the goal/purpose, but once I got the hang of it I was stacking boxes and making them cram into that small white platform. The height where the mouse drags boxes was sometimes a bit annoying because I would drag one stacked box from the platform while dragging.
nice mechanics, some audio would be perfect
The control is super neat and the graphic is nice. The camera is a little bit to hard to control and I do not get the goal of the game :O
Good attempt but there are some control issues when picking up the boxes and it was a little bit raw.
Not bad, but game doesn't make a lot of sense
It looks like you've entered this in the wrong category - team efforts are meant to be submitted for the Jam, not the Compo (which is individuals-only).
For the game itself, it took some time to figure out what I was supposed to do, and I found the controls very awkward as it uses arrow keys with the mouse not WASD. I wasn't sure what the purpose of using the mouse wheel either to raise-lower the box was? That was incredible awkward also, having to hold the left-mouse down while scrolling the scroll wheel.
Interesting!
I like the idea of the game (also EA deserves this I guess ... :)). I think the WebGL version might be a bit more polished but that's just Unity things. Well done!
This game is eccentric and fits in with theme. The movement feels clumsy at some stages. Btw, nice touch with EA's anagram AE X)
