Umm... I'm not sure if I get it... or even what it has to do with evolution.
If you are confused, it means that you was already playing this game. This is not something that you can play with hands, it's an experiment for your mind.
Now, I'm fairly liberal when it comes to the definition of what a game is... but a NON-INTERACTIVE game? Man, that's kind of stretch. Even though this idea could have been easily somewhat interactive, ie. you have to click somewhere on the screen to proceed to the next scene.
The artwork is good, and I do like how you've interpreted the theme of evolution, but in your efforts to be subversive I think you went too far. Or maybe you just ran out of time.
...I'm sure this has a very deep meaning, but...
......
I'm sorry I really don't get it at all
The true is that I was sick this weekend, so I wasn't able to finish my original idea (@kato9 yeah, a "point and click" adventure was my plan). Remember, this game was made by a sick mind (literally), so I'm not expecting rates or something here, so you shouldn't lose time rating it.
Anyway it would be great to hear interpretation of the whole thing.
It's a poetic slideshow with compelling audio and visuals.
I liked it. The visuals are great, as well as the music. Still I agree with kato9; it looks more like an animation than a game.
I think it's about our own evolution, and the way technology is finally keeping us isolated... Or something like that?
I really like this game. I am not sure it means anything, but I like it.
Somehow I really dig the graphics, but I don't get the non-interactive part.
I guess I'll share what I got out of it. A narrative about technology allowing us to be boxed in because it can provide a facsimile of the sun even in a sealed off environment. It even fails to illuminate as the sun does sometimes when a storm covers the sky.
Interestingly, despite the intense music I couldn't help but whistle "Trapped In A Box" by No Doubt :)
A non-interactive game it's not a game. It's like a book without words, it's simly not a book.
Even if it's not a game, it's kinda cool
I think its not about technology but about entertainment and revelation (light). Or the light is fading away after the first light(ning) at night?
My interpretation: It's about how people have spent their time through the years, guy starts out living outside, then he has a tent, then a house, then he reads a book, and later he's using a laptop/computer. It's pretty interesting, and it does count as an evolution of how we are spending our spare times.
I loved the graphics. It reminds me of the movie Koyaanisqatsi.
great visuals! you should put them in a game next time ;)
So after TV is PC and then pyramids? Neat :D
Dude, it's like you've totally been to my house. I listen to this kind of music all the time while doing everything. From making dramatic poses at my front gate and reading books to watching television and sitting around in inside the spare cardboard box I have sitting around my living room.
And you wear a motorcycle helmet around the house too? Awesome!
And sorry man, I made you a cookie, but I rated it.
It was good!
really nice, deep and moody. An interesting view on the evolution of entertainment and the dynamic of human technology.
I don't know what you were meaning by "non-interactive" I managed to pause it while the guy was happy. So I won!
I'm fairly sure I got the high score.
Pretty good... film, hard to understand!
Thank you people for all comments! I'll be rating your games this weekend. There are very deep comments and other that are really hilarious! :D thank you again!
