That was somewhat... odd. Kind of an interesting idea for part of a game, but odd.

Comtemno

Another short game. The engine was buggy; the ideas were... some of them were good, some of them were meaningless (backwards text? please...). The graphics were the best part of the experience (as well as the odd effect in the nowhere).

Endurion

Weird and short. Starting nice, but the secret thing is odd. Also, once you venture in the secret exit without all three relics you are pretty much stuck.

smx

the relic disburdens you from the moonwalk power...

nice style on the character, why not the same on the tiles (more contrasty)?

doohan

The bit where you get "sight beyond sight" gives me a bit of a headache. It was really hard to work out where I was going or what was happening. It also seemed to flicker as you fell in that bit.

Matt Thorson

I thought the backwards text was lame too, until I got the relic that let me turn around. I thought that was funny/clever.

dock

Wow, very imaginative start of the game :) I like it!

nilsf

The backwards text the gets fixed when you get the power to look back is kind of funny.

Green Point

You could write some posts about the development and post a link to the source code.

Wiering

Normal ending achieved!

phren

Weird game. :P The "field of view" thing was a bit too jittery in my opinion. Some original elements not found in other platformers here.

afterthought

lol @ powerup that lets you look left
The sight beyond sight part was really confusing.

I couldn't figure out how to get out of the first area. :( The music loop was way too short. I liked the creativity of the powerups though.

-Character looks awesome. Even though you said you cheated on the walk animation, still looks slick.
- Really like how you used debugging info as a gameplay element, and moonwalk as a gameplay element. Pretty clever and worked out.
- Interesting even though there is no real opponent / force of nature / conflict. Just exploring.
- Navigating around nearly blind is a bit frustrating.
- Not very much to do! :(

fydo

Kinda strange, but pretty neato idea.

Almost

not entirely intuitive. Interesting idea, but it seems there should've been a better way to discover that all is not as it seems.

erik

The engine felt a bit rough. I was surprised when the lack of left facing animation was revealed as a game play element. The "powers" were clever ideas.

I found the end. Well, and end. The normal end? It seemed to imply that there was something more, but I couldn't find anything else.

philomory

This is a pretty neat game, honestly. Still not sure which relic to trust regarding the potential for a hidden ending.

Liked the graphics a lot.

HybridMind

Crazy experience. I like how one of the special powers let my sprite face both ways! That made me laugh pretty good. I actually really enjoyed this. It kept changing and the style of the game was so strange that it kept me interested. The music loop became really annoying since it was only like a 2 second loop near the end. I beat the game "without relying on the other relics" whatever that means. ;)

ondrew

The turn around ability is priceless :). Made me laugh.

sirGustav

I though the only-right player animation was a bug until I got the powerup :)

mklee

Strange is the way to describe this game. Very strange.
