Oct 18 23:14:52 Doodle Skate ♥ 0 Really cool idea to bring one of the oldest techs in history: Drawing Very fun to figure out how to use some colors properly! ^^
Oct 18 23:30:31 15m 39s Nomad City ♥ 2 Very fun game with a great atmosphere. Graphics and sounds fit together well. But I wouldn't consider a driving city complex to be old tech. Maybe it's just me though. ^^'
Oct 19 00:59:50 1h 29m Boom Boy ♥ 2 I really like the textures and the music choice. You really made "Old tech" feel modern and funky. ^^ Great job! Also the web port had some issues for me (Firefox on Linux) that made the bloom effect glitch out. Maybe you can disable that for it.
Oct 19 01:08:16 8m 26s Stonepunked ♥ 1 Huge amount of respect doing so many animations in that short amount of time. Great execution of the theme!
Oct 19 17:47:32 16h 39m Machinerra ♥ 2 Feels overwhelming. I still don't really understand what the game wants from me as a player while I found the guide and the quest log. If I would try to describe it, I would say it's a 2D version of Nier: Automata but how is it about old tech then?
Oct 19 18:05:09 17m 37s Old Nums 老数字们 ♥ 0 I wanted to complete the game. But getting the bigger numbers right via binary search takes so much time. Had to quit on binary. But I really like the idea. It fits the theme well and it's even educational. Well done!
Oct 19 21:14:23 3h 09m It's About Time for Murder ♥ 1 Really fun idea to have this combination mechanic with information rather than mechanical parts for this theme. I really enjoy the soundtrack and art style.
Oct 19 21:21:45 7m 22s CrossbowThing ♥ 1 Unfortunately the game crashes with an error on Linux using Wine during launch sometimes. I had to launch it three times, then somehow it worked. So that's a bit inconsistent. ^^' When it works, it is quite fun. I didn't expect enemies to cause these jump scares in the first run. So if you were going for that, well done. Still unsure whether the sounds make it more or less scary. ^^'
Oct 19 21:29:42 7m 57s Dear Diary ♥ 1 The controls are a bit weird but damn this game hits home with its dialog. Really captures some emotions.
Oct 19 21:32:54 3m 12s Granny's Tea & Tats ♥ 0 Love the idea! But wow did my customers get scammed. ^^' Really fun game!
Oct 19 22:22:37 49m 43s Fliptober: Retro Edition ♥ 1 Really nice game with a cozy atmosphere. I feel like sometimes the opponent could be smarter with higher difficulty. But overall I quite enjoy playing it.
Oct 19 22:46:45 24m 08s Like Clockwork ♥ 2 Failed on the level where you were supposed to stack wheels, I assume. But otherwise great game!
Oct 19 23:05:07 18m 22s Smash to Begin ♥ 1 Controlling those two fists with one mouse cursor is really confusing my brain. ^^' But it's quite fun to play and I like those pencil drawn textures from you. Also do you know Eyerok from Super Mario 64? The game reminds me of that a bit.
Oct 19 23:16:46 11m 39s Use the Shovel ♥ 1 Interesting art style. I really like the movement of the individual letters when text is displayed. I think with a slightly mysterious music in the background and the fire crackling, I can definitely see a vision for the mood. I enjoyed playing it.
Oct 19 23:35:04 18m 18s Punch Card Game ♥ 0 Really cool mechanic that fits the theme well. I agree that at the beginning the player could need a bit more help how to start. Once you understand how to solve the puzzles, it's pretty fun.
Oct 19 23:45:23 10m 19s FINGERTRICK ♥ 1 I'm not good at it and there's definitely a learning curve. But wow that is some innovative gameplay! Really nice idea!
Oct 19 23:50:46 5m 23s Phone Frenzy ♥ 1 Interesting idea. I like the mood but it's also a bit stressful. Really makes you wonder how many times calls have been transferred wrong in the past? ^^'
Oct 21 05:59:15 30h 08m A Little Piece of You ♥ 0 The game really captures the atmosphere of the typical office. The idea is really nice and I had fun wandering around to see what I could copy and fax into the unknown.
Oct 22 01:55:52 19h 56m The Time Lost Legionnaire ♥ 0 Nice idea letting the player run around with old tech into modern weaponry.
Oct 22 02:06:55 11m 03s Magic Kaleidoscope ♥ 0 Very interesting concept. Unfortunately the audio fails to loop in the web port (I think it's related to a single setting/property in Godot and should be easy to fix) but it works fine in the Windows executable (even on Linux via Wine). I think the game has already a very calming atmosphere and I can see the vision for playing it. Potentially this would even be something to experience in VR to fully immerse into it. Definitely an interesting approach of the theme.
Oct 22 02:15:53 8m 58s Prayday ♥ 0 Nice game. The mechanics are individually easy to understand but form a more complex mechanic together. So I can definitely see this getting quite addictive with a bit more polished visuals and sound. By the way I liked the little boat in the background. Really nice that you thought about adding such details.
Oct 22 02:56:06 40m 13s Codebreakers of the Dark Forest ♥ 0 The game is really immersive. The more I played the more I felt responsible for attacks coming through when I misinterpret the code. I really like the mechanics to solve riddles without too much hints. The sounds of the typewriter are really satisfying and I enjoyed the background music for different scenes and areas. I assume you have some experience with visual novels. Really nice entry!
Oct 23 08:35:26 29h 39m Dungeon Dude ♥ 0 Really funny idea. I think I typed "dude" several times before I understood the hint was telling me to type commands instead of the word "dude". Having a history to cycle between previous commands would be a convenient addition.
Oct 23 08:42:38 7m 12s FACEPAGE: Old Internet ♥ 0 Really awesome game! The fact there are dedicated "First" comments hitting you is peak.
Oct 23 23:24:18 14h 41m Pinball "Repair" SIMULATOR ♥ 0 Interesting idea. I think it's a bit overwhelming when you need to repair the machine while there's still a ball in play. Maybe there could be a smaller view or similar of the pinball game like a picture-in-picture mode while being under the hood of the machine to repair it? The sounds are really nice. I think the only thing missing for the classical pinball experience is a visible spring to load for firing the ball. Minor detail though. So nice job!
Oct 23 23:28:33 4m 15s Road Rage ♥ 2 Great game but wasn't the theme "old tech", not "broken tech". Still had to laugh about the hilarious animations for each hardware issue. Really well done!
Oct 23 23:48:37 20m 04s Ye Old Repair Shop ♥ 1 Might be my favorite game so far that I've played this event. But I also love playing around with geometry nodes in Blender or piping a bunch of processes on Linux. I had to enjoy this game! Also I agree with others that the graphics, music and sounds work really well together. Really nice experience!
