Fun little tower defence.
The friends going offline and ads added a nice bit of challenge but at times it felt like I was having to focus too much on them than on shooting the incoming spam and felt like I was being forced to take damage.
It really was just yesterday! (╥﹏╥)
Really awesome game! The fact there are dedicated "First" comments hitting you is peak.

Fun game, took me a while to understand I have to click on offline friends to get them online again :)
I'm in love with the concept! Looks great and nostalgic. I wish it was a little easier in the beginning though haha.

The gameplay is simple and fun. The difficulty curve is a little off... it's very difficult in the beginning, but once you get friends + groups it gets a little too easy. The little bubbles that float up after shooting a spam post were quite difficult to handle at first without backup from friends. Spending too much time shooting at them, even with perfect aim, causes the posts underneath to advance too far, so I had to ignore them and take a lot of wall damage.
I like the overall concept, and how it uses the theme! Good entry :)
I wish the game were longer; the gameplay is really cool and engaging - I got hooked for about five minutes. The visual style, however, doesn't quite suit the game and looks a bit dull; maybe it’s the default font - I’m not sure. All in all, I enjoyed it.
Very interesting take on the theme. I like the different ways the player has to interact with the game. Would have loved to see some old memes though!
Nice concept got to 500 and made a couple of friends.
I found I was generally shooting almost to the right and it was rarely needed to move up and down, I guess it would break the wall theme but maybe have some posts be worse than others so you focus on the important ones? Can't believe there was no poke button, that would be fun for a big powerup :)
That was fun! A bit nasty RNG at the start though, while you still have no friends and it can take a while to get one while being bombarded by too many additional stuff spawning. And group also another RNG on top of that. Getting grandma bonus with no Grandma on sight :<
But with lucky enough start you can easily get there! Also cookies blocking all friends at the same time with them going offline is so brutal! Still had fun though, thanks :)

Gameplay was quite hard and it is a bit awkward to shoot all the little popups that troll posts drop. But once you get good friends and group bonus it becomes more manageable.
Love all the references to the scams and spams of all days! 😄 Good job!
Great job transferring that "good" old feeling of scrolling through irrelevant posts and scam messages and finding the odd friend in there as well. :D In a future version maybe there could be "good" posts as well, like someone posting about a game jam for example, which could be let through to heal the wall? But even without that, very creative take on the theme and big congrats on making this during the short time of a jam :). Keep it up :)
Fun small game! The theming is on-point and the sudden "REDESIGN" was really funny. The group mechanic is also very neat, though the RNG between it and the friends that choose to show up keep it from becoming the most useful in some cases.
As others have mentioned, the balancing makes the beginning very hard with it becoming easier and easier as the game progresses, it would have been nice for that to be the other way around, with your friends helping you to defeat tougher foes (the Prince being something to save for the end to go with, for example).

Very fun game ! I like tower defence games and this one has a great context.
Was fun how it made me split my attention, I definitely made lots of mistakes. After a few runs I got to the redesign and only a bit past that. I lost some friends along the way. Maybe because I friended my grandma?
Good level of overwhemling-but-seemed-possible that got me to come back and play a few runs in a row.
