I honestly didn't expect it to be this much fun. It’s a simple yet highly addictive. Also great take on theme and nice sound.

a really creative theme interpretation!
Interesting idea. I like the mood but it's also a bit stressful. Really makes you wonder how many times calls have been transferred wrong in the past? ^^'
I felt super locked in and it was a lot of fun trying to keep up, great job! super simple loop but felt like you really nailed it with the implementation and the balance
Pretty cool game, very challenging, and nice graphics. I was confused on how to disconnect the call, but I quickly discover how, overall pretty cool game!!
Indeed, many people decided to make a game about a telephone switchboard operator. Your game is more dynamic and intuitive. The gameplay is very addictive. Pleasant music and sounds.
Really cool—I racked up 18,000 points. The background music is great, but the trigger for returning the plug needs to be more sensitive; I often couldn't get it to return because of this.
The concept of taking a mundane switchboard job and turning it into a hectic arcade highscore challenge is really clever. You managed to capture the intense, high-pressure nature of the operator's job, and the fast pace is super engaging.
This was incredibly fun, and incredibly frantic. Great job :)
The only real feedback that I have is that the drop targets for the plugs felt very precise to me in a way that detracted a little bit from the frantic fun of quickly responding to and connecting calls; it felt really inconsistent whether or not the plug would connect to the switchboard, and I felt like I had to focus on very precisely on the alignment. I eventually figured out why I was having so much trouble: I was releasing my mouse every time the *plug* was overlapping with the hole on the switchboard, but collision was determined based on my *cursor* position. Even with that knowledge though, I kept missing my inputs, because it was hard to track my cursor position compared to the large plug
Overall though, this was *very* fun, well done. I played much longer than I thought I would (and you were right that I *did* have fun loudly (mis)pronouncing each name as I connected the call)
Wow! It was so fun. Perfect for a jam: simple rules, simple actions, but they make really interesting gameplay. It hits just the right spot and makes you want to play more. So cool!
Hidden gem btw
My keybind for screenshots caused the game to restart, so I lost proof of my 25,xxx score 😅 (no I won't try again, my wrist suffered enough already)
Are the names procedurally generated or did you just hardcoded dozens of random names? Anyway, I liked it, it makes for an extra challenge for keeping track where everyone is on the board.
Anything over 20k is really good!
The names are procedurally generated, no hardcoded names at all.
This idea was one of the first we had during brainstorming and we skept it because we thought it wouldn't be fun enough. Seems like you proved we were terribly wrong! This was a very great experience! I managed to reach more than 29k. The atmosphere between chill and stressed is very subtly done! The music, while a little repetitive, works great with the bass.
