| Apr 9 00:24:21 | RainDrops | ♥ 1 | I played, forgetting the bubbles mechanic, and so I finished the game only using the ripples - but I finished, that's the important point 😂 With the other game, you seems to start sort of a collection of games-where-you-are-somewhat-blind, and I like this, it's a different kind of game experience. You're not the first, there are some other games like this (including one I can't remember the name but where you're a blind and the environment discovering looks like spreading paint), but you're doing well, and I will try what you will came with the next time you'll grow this collection 😛 The mood is good too, and there's a lot of color for a game where the player is blind 😂 | |
| Apr 12 20:22:43 | 91h 58m | Continental Shelf | ♥ 1 | As a puzzle games lover, this chill and cute entry was made for me, I really enjoyed every minute of the short time I spent finishing it, so: thank you and well done! |
| Apr 12 20:44:44 | 22m 01s | Moos from the Depth of Space | ♥ 0 | It took me several tries before I manage to get it and finish, but it worth it, I enjoyed a lot playing this entry, good job! |
| Apr 12 21:16:17 | 31m 33s | The Void | ♥ 2 | I like so much point'n click, and I love the old good vibe of this one. I played it twice to get the two endings - I like too the idea of having translation only through the main character's answers, but was frustrated a little as I could not understand the final sentences of each ending 😆 Good job and well done! |
| Apr 12 21:45:40 | 29m 23s | Dantes Descendants | ♥ 1 | I was totally not prepared for this kind of game, but it was fun! And hard. But still fun. Made it to the last depth, but it was not easy at all. Good job! |
| Apr 12 21:52:38 | 6m 58s | Holy Moly! | ♥ 1 | As funny as it was short - and it was really short 😁 I like the mood, and all those little details that make the difference. Nothing to say more, except: well done! |
| Apr 13 00:50:44 | 2h 58m | Pack | ♥ 1 | Well, it took me way longuer than I expected, much more than an hour (or two, didn't precisely checked), but I'm kind of stubborn, and I absolutely wanted to finish it the hard way (ie. applying the “hard mode variations” you told). And I've done it, mainly thanks to the calm music and the global mood of the game, which helps a lot to stay focus. Good job! |
| Apr 13 21:52:08 | 21h 01m | Drilling in the Deep | ♥ 1 | Fine art, classic gameplay, but I enjoyed finish the game without using "revive". Good job! |
| Apr 13 22:44:13 | 52m 05s | Scriptorium | ♥ 2 | I'm not sure you tested your own entry before publishing, would you and you'll have find out that there's a serious collision issue in the just-at-size corridors… I suggest you reduce the drones' size by one or two pixels, or at least their hitbox. Actually, pardon my language but it's a pain in the ass to move through those - you have to go right-left-right-left etc. while holding move forward, and pray that you'll move one pixel in the good direction… 😅 I'm kind of stubborn guy, so I tried to go further, and I stopped playing when I suddenly got a "signal lost" screen coming from nowhere - I suppose this is linked to something in the game, but I didn't got it: is it the end screen of the game? Did I lose because my drones are out of power? Or some alien coackroach have bite their antennas?… Who knows… 🤔 Last but not least, missing music/FX is not important, but missing basic controls information is. When the game launched, it took me a minute to understand what I was looking at, and what I had to do except clicking on those panels on the top-left corner. 😬 For anyone who want to try: **CONTROLS** **• select drone: click on their function Drill/Scanner** **• move drone: WASD** (relative to the drone, ie. up is forward, not up of the screen) **• drill/scan: space** (you can drill the green blocks only, and white blocks are the ones to be scanned) edit: I think this collide issue can be take as a bug, and so you can fix it directly on your entry, you just have to tell it on the game page (and doing that I suggest you add the controls information too) And don't forget to play and rate some games to get rates on your's 😄 I will retry your entry if you fix that bug, I'm curious of what lies behind all of this… |
| Apr 13 23:06:32 | 22m 19s | Cast Iron Hammer Golf | ♥ 1 | I'm too bad at this game, too much parameters have to be taken in account. But even if I couldn't go through the first level after many tries, I can tell at least that its fun and the arts are pretty cool, so: well done! |
| Apr 13 23:23:47 | 17m 15s | Downfall | ♥ 0 | Even trying many times, I didn't made it to the end, I always forget this or those trap or ennemy position, and so I lost more life than I get it back. But despite of the random hitboxes, it's fun to play, and the game controls are really responsive, which is pleasant. I also like the arts and SFX. Good job! |
| Apr 13 23:43:39 | 19m 52s | A Final Deed | ♥ 1 | I really like the mood of this one! Arts are awesome, and music adds a lot to the melancholic mood. I gave up before the end (with something like 300 points), as I lost some sequences, where the issue seems that when I had to hold more than two keys, it didn't works (either by not taking in account the last key holding, or taking it but disable the previous I was still holding). As I read in the comments, this is not the only bug ruining the game. Bugs are a burden when making games for LD, I feal you as I struggle almost each time with weird bugs like those. Anyways, this is still a good entry, and one of my favorites so far, even with the bugs 😁 so: well done! |
| Apr 14 19:55:31 | 20h 11m | Further Below | ♥ 2 | Another of these fine text adventures you have the secret for. I still love those, please, never stop! I think I've checked all the possibilities, but could have missed one. I liked the cosmic horror fealing of these one, good job! |
| Apr 14 20:10:39 | 15m 08s | A Present for Ama | ♥ 1 | Nothing more to say than Wouter52 (well, a little less to be honest, as I use genuine FF and not a FF in disguise :P). Oh, maybe that I would like to test a post-compo, at least to see what you had in mind before life show-up and ruin your LD |
| Apr 14 21:16:31 | 1h 05m | The chronicles of Mr. Marmo | ♥ 1 | Except of the few times I got stuck in or near close to a rock because of the hitbox bug _(and then I finally discovered that R teleports to the start without reinit of pearls and puzzles - nice idea!)_ ; and sometimes the unreacheable pearls (I'm not talking about secret tunnels, but sometimes few pearls appeared into a rock - f.ex. in one ground rock I could walk on, but obviously not into) ; this was a very fun time playing this game! I love the artworks, and the voice cover is just a good demo of that programer's art is not limited to graphics :P but still adds to the cuteness and uniqueness of this entry. Very well done! |
| Apr 14 21:24:12 | 7m 41s | Heavy Anhinga | ♥ 1 | I did not manage to finish the game, as I got stuck in the big ramp level, but I really like the arts, and much more the animations. Good job! |
| Apr 18 11:48:58 | 86h 24m | Apnea | ♥ 1 | First, this is a not-even-thinking five stars for Innovation. Then, I like the minimalistic but effective and neat approach of the art style. And finally, I'm a little surprised of which level I reached, giving that I smoke since around 30 years now… 😮 😅 LD#57 Apnea - julienlussiez - 2025-04-18_13-37.png Well, all I have to say is: very good job! |
| Apr 19 19:12:57 | 31h 23m | Party Crasher | ♥ 2 | It took me a little while to understand what to do (rather: where to act), but I managed to finish LD#57 Party Crasher.png As always, you push up the player experience, mood and arts, rather than search for a complex gameplay, and your entries are unique and immediately recognizable Good job! |
| Apr 19 20:03:09 | 50m 12s | Captain Death | ♥ 2 | Relaxing and chill game, nice artworks and music, lags a little when playing for too long but still playable, as I finished it. LD#57 Captain Death.png Well done and good job! |
| Apr 21 20:26:16 | 48h 23m | FORMIDRILL | ♥ 2 | Not the kind of games I'm good with, but it was fun to try. Nice realisation, I really like all the details, the humour and the gameplay as a whole. Well done! |
| Apr 21 20:31:27 | 5m 11s | (pics only) Cave, Explore Her | ♥ 1 | Too bad you couldn't finish, it seems to be a very unexpected take of the theme, I would have test it with a lot of curiousity 😄 |
| Apr 21 21:05:42 | 34m 15s | Depthline | ♥ 1 | I needed to read the solutions for the third, which I could have found by myself if I had noticed earlier that the ground was not a road nor a path, but a river (or a rift ?), and the final, which I could probably never have found, as when erasing my (numerous) tries starting by "WALK", the first part "WALK" was kept and I supposed it was because this was the good start… 😅 However, I think this is an interesting and innovative proposition, and this could be extended to a full (I mean: longer) game, maybe changing the gameplay by selecting actions among verbs / mini-sentences, instead of letters, which is a little annoying on a while (and pretty difficult for anyone whose native language is not English - like me 😓) Good job anyways! |
| Apr 22 23:54:59 | 26h 49m | Debt Bust | ♥ 1 | I'm not pretty sure of how I've done that, but I finally managed to win, even if I think I didn't understood the rules very well… Or maybe did I - isn't this like a sort of Black Jack with funny dices? Anyways, most important is that, for my surprise, it was fun to play, so: good job! |
| Apr 23 00:22:41 | 27m 42s | Mind the Depth | ♥ 1 | This is more an interactive experimental artpiece than a game, indeed. But some games aren't much more than an interactive experimental artpiece, so, all in all, this kind of entry does have its place in the LD… Pretty art, and nice journey to go through, but as a non-english native, I would have appreciate some subtitles to support the voice, even if I think I have understand the essential core of the story I may have missed some subtilities. |
| Apr 23 19:35:28 | 19h 12m | This game is mid | ♥ 0 | So much content for a few hours-dev game! I reached the end, and I enjoyed it, over the years I've seen entries with much more time dev and which was way worst… Including some of mine 🤣 So, good job! |
| Apr 23 20:40:34 | 1h 05m | Sea Dicegarden | ♥ 1 | Despite of duplication dices issues (I don't know why I can get another dice in a given color when I already have four of them), and the inability to get the last purple one, I manage to finish the game 😄 Screenshot 2025-04-23 at 22-33-12 Sea Dicegarden by zimny11.png I would have appreciated more feedback on the combinations I've already tested, maybe sort of "receipe" list with only already known combinations, or something like that. As is, I mostly "frolics" randomly upon the different combinations, until I found something useful 😅 It was fun to try tho, so good job anyways! |
| Apr 24 21:18:28 | 24h 37m | Deep Dark Difficult | ♥ 4 | Actually it was funnier to play than I thought at first sight. I did not explore all the paths, but tried a couple, and I saw there is some content for a jam game. Graphics are good enough, and mood is here too, so: well done! Maybe you would better have tested and rated more games, as you may not have enough rates to get stats at the end, and this would be bad as you game really deserves being rated… |
| Apr 25 13:31:41 | 16h 13m | Deep Point | ♥ 1 | Simple gameplay, good arts, fast to play, well done! Dommage de pas avoir eu le temps de noter plus de jeux (je sais ce que c'est, ça m'est déjà arrivé), j'espère que tu auras quand-même assez de notes d'ici cette nuit, ton jeu mérite d'être noté… |
| Apr 25 14:03:03 | 31m 22s | The Cleaner of the depth | ♥ 3 | I tested and rated it before the web fix, so I had to stop because of game crash (well, not really crash, but the bird was stuck when at the far left of the bottom jaw). But now there's a fix, I had to retry it for a full game, and I spent a good time with it! However, I'm pretty sure I have cleaned all the healthy teeth, as I had enough time left to check again each one, and then, despite of that, my host didn't let me go and ate me 😕 😅 The whole arts, animations and design are awesome, and serves well a simple and fun gameplay, so: good job and very well done! |
| Apr 25 18:23:01 | 4h 19m | AdventureGen | ♥ 1 | I tested 2 existing games, and "made" 3: Dating Lucy: A Manga Love Story Adventure Lost in Paradise: The Forgotten Island Haunting Echoes of Station 42 Sadly, only the frist one is finishable, the two others seems to not have any reachable end. I like the idea of generating pnc games at will, and the art render are often good, as for the mood descriptors, so I would like to see this improved on the "game tree", the promise is big! Innovative and interesting entry, good job! |
| Apr 28 09:48:05 | 63h 25m | Souls Rider 1D | ♥ 1 | Now that I see the maps, I really wonder how I managed to finish the last one 😂 (but I did, I promise, even if I didn't let any comment at the moment) |
