Oct 7 02:25:47 Anthill Defense ♥ 1 This is very impressive for 48 hours! It took me a little to figure out an efficient way to control the ants, but once I figured that out it was very fun!
Oct 7 02:28:14 2m 27s Creature Rehabilitation Lab ♥ 2 This really reminds me of what it was like to teach kids ages 5-10 a few years ago
Oct 7 02:29:37 1m 23s Tiny revolution ♥ 1 This was fun, it's simple but very smooth feeling. I liked that I had to decide between taking the time to identify an enemy, or just shooting it if it was getting too close to risk the extra time. I wish the game ramped up a little faster, but otherwise this was very cool!
Oct 7 02:30:39 1m 02s Eater Scrutiny ♥ 0 I managed to get a score of 276 on my playthrough. A very simple concept, but it was very fun. The round where you had to find ants which curved in the correct direction was rough, but very rewarding.
Oct 7 02:31:57 1m 18s Feeding the Farm ♥ 1 Very cool. it started out a little slow, but once I got to the later levels it was a good challenge. I love the cute animals.
Oct 7 02:46:37 14m 40s SNANT ♥ 1 it's a simple but fun idea. I like it when games let you move as fast as you want to, rather than you moving at a set speed
Oct 7 16:54:47 14h 08m TiNY's GardEEn ♥ 1 This is very neat! The drawings are cute, and it's very satisfying to punch the bushes away from the poor tinies. I had to play a second time to make sure I could save all three.
Oct 7 17:05:30 10m 43s Rhythm of the Tinymon-Catcher ♥ 2 I'm impressed, the music sounds great, the rhythm mapping is simple but fun, and the art is nice too! Impressive you were able to do all of this in 48 hours.
Oct 7 17:18:40 13m 10s Beetle with a Mixtape ♥ 2 I love it! A short and fun metroidvania that ticks all the boxes. The best part of a game like this is seeing something you want, but can't get yet, and wishing you could go into water, fly, etc, and then getting that ability later and backtracking, and this nails that design
Oct 7 18:17:18 58m 38s Skrungle Rescue ♥ 2 I love the size of the room, and the graphics. I agree with some other comments that you move a little slowly, but this is fun otherwise
Oct 7 18:23:56 6m 38s Tiny Friends :) ♥ 1 This is really cool. It took me a little to figure out the controls, but once I did the rest of the game was really fun to go through. The puzzles from controlling a guy you could throw worked really well, I would love a "full" game with this mechanic
Oct 7 22:48:09 4h 24m Flea Patrol ♥ 2 I love games that ultimately boil down to "Physics engine doing it's stuff". Very satisfying, and the art is charming.
Oct 7 22:52:18 4m 09s BOILERMEN ♥ 1 Beautiful visuals!
Oct 8 02:36:57 3h 44m Battle Dots ♥ 1 It's always fun to spawn little things, and then use them to spawn more things. I love these types of games. One thing which was a little hard for me to tell, was when I could spawn another worker. I think it was on a cooldown, but there wasn't a clear indicator of when it was ready. I think when it stopped being transparent was when it could be used, but it was a little hard to see.
Oct 8 03:08:43 31m 46s Tiny Builders ♥ 1 Very unique idea. It took me a couple rounds to feel like I knew what I was doing, but once I did there was a fun and challenging game that did not have a single obvious strategy, much more complicated than most game jam games, nice!
Oct 9 02:43:50 23h 35m Colobox ♥ 1 Very fun to just mess around with. I love the wonky physics of attaching them together and trying to make them walk. I would love to see a hyper optimized speedrun to see the crazy combinations of attaching the creatures together
Oct 9 02:49:30 5m 40s Gobbo Freakout ♥ 0 This was fun, I don't usually see this genre of game in game jams. It took me a little to figure out the buttons though, because there wasn't any feedback when you selected one
Oct 9 03:06:09 16m 39s Bnuuy ♥ 1 Very fun and unique game, and the art is fantastic! I love 3d games that have propulsion physics of some kind, this game ticks all the boxes for me. The one thing I wish it had, was the ability to jump backwards, since then I would feel a little more in control
Oct 10 23:59:34 44h 53m Karma Keepers ♥ 1 Very unique game. It's very satisfying to manage large swarms of creatures, although I would like it if there was some sort of feedback when you gain or lose units. A sound or some sort of visual effect could have made the game more clear what was happening at any given point.
Oct 11 00:05:34 6m 00s Frogotten Focus ♥ 1 Having the attack buttons right next to the movement controls was a little clunky, but once I realized I could also use arrow keys to move it felt much better. I enjoyed playing, the gameplay was fun, although I think if the enemies moved a little less predictably, such as a small chance to strafe around you a little bit, would make it feel a lot more polished
Oct 11 00:14:41 9m 07s Roll to Attack ♥ 1 Wow, this is really cool! Combining physics with a turn based game is always interesting, and it works surprisingly well here. Rolling of the dice with a mouse feels a little difficult to get it right, but regardless of whether the dice goes where I want it to, it's fun
Oct 11 00:22:44 8m 03s Crossfire ♥ 1 This definitely reminded me of playing games like agar.io, very fun! It's rare to see a game jam game that feels like it's multiplayer, even if it's still just ai characters playing with you. It seems like once you get behind, it's very difficult to catch up again, but if you can get strong early it's very satisfying to run around killing all the other ants.
Oct 12 00:19:42 23h 56m Good Morning Oswald ♥ 1 This definitely felt like a fever dream, in a good way! I wasn't expecting the art style and "small creature" to be paired with a secret/exploration game, but it was a fun short journey to find all the coins. Very charming, and I don't think I will forget this game any time soon.
Oct 13 18:13:29 41h 53m Shikigami ♥ 1 Fun and satisfying to play. The enemies have a nice model, very blobby gooey looking, and the tail moves very smoothly.
Oct 13 18:30:43 17m 14s Supply and Command ♥ 1 I made an RTS last ludum dare, so I can appreciate how much work goes into it. I enjoyed it, although I found it a little clunky to select units. I kept on thinking I selected a new unit, but instead was commanding the old unit to move somewhere. Maybe a highlight or something on the currently selected unit would help.
Oct 20 20:56:35 170h 25m A Taste for Nuts ♥ 1 Aww, I love the start and victory screen drawings, very cute. Doing an rts game for a game jam is a big undertaking, but it worked out and was fun. It didn't feel too difficult to win, but I did feel like I had to manage my resources, and for a brief moment thought I might not have enough food, so the balance was pretty good. One note I have, is the text for how to play at the start is pretty small when you set the game to full screen, I had to squint a little bit to read it.
Oct 25 21:39:52 120h 43m PocketMen ♥ 0 Wow, this is a very impressive game for a jam. As I started, it just kept on introducing new mechanics that I expected to be the "main" part of the game, but were just a small part. Types/weaknesses for creatures in a fight is a tried and true format, and it's always satisfying to have the right cards and immediately win a fight. One issue I had was that in a fight it's very difficult to figure out which cards have the right type. You have to select them one at a time and drag them to see their stat, which is very slow. Having some sort of symbol or something at the top to show their types would have made combat feel a lot more smooth. Also, while I loved shaking the photos to make them develop, it got a little tiring after the first few photos, maybe something in the shop to automate it would have been nice.
