I really liked the art. Controlling the units was smooth. Pathfinding and selecting is easy. UI-wise it was a little hard to grasp if you don't read the instructions carefully. I would have liked a timer for the food and some alarm clocks when it was close to death. And maybe a zoom for the map. A lot of moving parts for a game jam! The music fit the game well and didn't become grating during playthrough.

Really cool concept, its quite a lot of information to understand in the beginning, but once you get used to it its really fun. Well done!

Nice, very cute game! My mice are sleeping soundly.

Its very nicely done, there is quite a lot going on. I found it fun at the beginning, where it was multitasking the collection of wood to build the love shack, berries to not starve to death and acorns for the goal. Towards the end it felt like there wasn't much to do except explore for acorns, and I found the controls to be a bit finnicky as mice would get stuck on top of each other in the same square and I wouldn't be able to separate them. It did almost have a frostpunk vibe with having to explore further and further to get resources! And it's quite a short game so it didn't get old.

I liked the music and graphical style, there were nicely suited to the game and gave it a very cozy feel. Nice entry!

Really cool! The controls where a bit hard on the beginning, but once I understood them, it was fun. Adding a warning on starvation would be cool, suddenly I got a screen with starvation on it. Maybe loosing HP (and having mices die of starvation) would be even better. A fun game overall!

Very cute, I agree with the others about it being a lot to parse at first. But once you get familiar with it, it was a lot of fun!

A pleasant and relaxing playing experience. I liked the simplicity of the objective, the low level of difficulty felt appropriate for a jam, and the music was enjoyable. I would like to hear sound effects used to communicate to the player when interactions happen, when the berries deplete, and to reward success at the end etc. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed the game, but there were a few issues that negatively affected the experience. When I played in full screen mode, the UI was very small, making it difficult to navigate and progress. Additionally, the visual glitch of the mouse merging into one was confusing and frustrating. Sometimes I could see berries dripping on the right and they were somewhere off screen.

One major inconvenience was the reserved inventory for one type of item. It was annoying when they were hungry and I wanted to feed them berries, but they had already picked up a small acorn and couldn't eat. If the mice had been allowed more flexibility in choosing items, the game would have been smoother.

Despite these flaws, the core gameplay is fun and addictive!

I liked the flavor of the nuts!(hehe)

I liked the determined look on the mice's face when they're interacting with something.

Some notes: - Once a mouse has grabbed something, its inventory is instantly full, so there's nothing reasonable to do except return to base. Either the mouse's inventory needs to be bigger or they should auto-return without me needing to go find and click on them. - The mice are starving while you read the instructions, which is a bit stressful - I didn't see much point to making more mice. Two is plenty to collect enough acorns in a reasonable amount of time and each new mouse increases the rate of food consumption.

Nice game! It took me some time to find how to move the camera, but after that the game was really straightforward. My only remark would be that it does not seem fair that resources are lost even while reading the help: at the start it took me quite some time to read everything and I already had lost food.

This is really cool! I'm inspired. I haven't done a compo yet, but I like that you're able to focus on all the elements in order to achieve a cohesive/coherent environment. Great job!

Aww, I love the start and victory screen drawings, very cute. Doing an rts game for a game jam is a big undertaking, but it worked out and was fun. It didn't feel too difficult to win, but I did feel like I had to manage my resources, and for a brief moment thought I might not have enough food, so the balance was pretty good.

One note I have, is the text for how to play at the start is pretty small when you set the game to full screen, I had to squint a little bit to read it.

I'm glad I stuck around because it is a really fun game once you get past the teeny-tiny tutorial text. I'm so impressed with the scope of this game for compo -- there are a lot of mechanics and fine details that I never would have been able to accomplish in 48 hours. 😅

Very lovely sprites and music. The game gets a little tedious once the berries/sticks get further away but it's still satisfying to manage all your mice at once.

TIP: If you can't select the mice because they're overlapping, you can select just one by clicking their icon in the status bar on the left.
