Jan 10 15:52:45 Kilzpacho ♥ 1 This game is great! I didn't realize I had to fullscreen it at first so it initially cut off the UI and I had no clue what was changing haha. I love the music, art and ambience and it felt smooth to play overall. I would have loved to see my stats displayed somewhere so I could keep track of how buff I was getting (or a visual indicator of some kind). Really liked the main character, too. Also Cropses is a fantastic pun :D
Jan 10 16:04:15 11m 30s Alien Farm ♥ 0 Love the music and the art is beautiful. Did you make the font as well? It's also lovely! I also agree that game jams are for experimenting with engines haha. Maybe add a note in the game description that says to deselect the water icon in order to harvest - I couldn't figure that part out until I read the above comment. Very cool game!
Jan 10 16:26:27 22m 12s Nimkip! ♥ 3 That was really cool! The nimkips are adorable and fun to call out of the ground, too. I liked the additional component of having to spot them if you wanted a free one! Well done game :D
Jan 10 16:32:17 5m 50s Ethereal Harvest ♥ 1 Spooooky! I liked the music a lot. I found a big boi and he killed me so fast I'm not sure how it happened, but it was cool to find :D
Jan 10 17:12:28 40m 11s I Require Human Parts ♥ 1 A very neat game, I really like the mood and writing! Surprisingly challenging, I may have missed something but I found several humans and they all managed to escape. I played it twice, to no avail, but still enjoyed the experience! Really cool entry.
Jan 10 17:28:19 15m 51s Orchard Archer ♥ 2 Once I got the silver bow the shooting became so snappy and enjoyable - it felt like a really nice upgrade from the first one. The platforming controls floated a bit for my taste, but that's just personal preference and I really liked the game overall!
Jan 10 20:40:21 3h 12m Farmula Grain Prix ♥ 1 Love the concept and the art, and the 2D/3D is beautifully done! Oh, choices, choices - do I sell before I inevitably lose and take the financial hit because time is running out? Or wait for that sweet sweet market increase but maaaaaybe lose all my hard earned produce (and potential points) in the process because I fail to lap in time? Hahahaha. Another awesome one, love it, lot of really cool mechanics in here! :D (side note - it's so fun that your games all nod to each other, the billboards in this one were great)
Jan 11 07:08:16 10h 27m Protect the Garden ♥ 2 This game is pretty tough, but well done! The sound effects make it feel snappy, and once I realized how to play the harvesting and placement was a really neat twist on a tower defense purchasing system. Nice entry!
Jan 11 07:20:42 12m 26s Astral Aberration ♥ 2 This is such a cool idea! It was neat actually going into spaceships to raid, I didn't expect that. Docking and mining is snappy, too. There's really a lot to this, nicely done :)
Jan 11 07:48:56 28m 14s Fields Of Gold ♥ 1 Really nicely done harvesting sim! I liked the little quests, too. Nice graphics, colors - and I really liked little attention to detail bits like the barrels stacking up in the winery - that's a really nice visual cue that was appreciated!
Jan 11 08:05:50 16m 54s Space Harvest ♥ 2 What a neat ship! Mouse sensitivity was very high for me so at first controlling it was a challenge. Cool take on the theme :)
Jan 11 08:14:09 8m 19s Revenge of the Veggies ♥ 1 The little veggie blurbs are hilarious! It's a tough game, but well made. Nice variety to the veggies as well!
Jan 11 08:51:58 37m 49s Five Finger Copper Shopper ♥ 1 Multiple endings, wooooot!!! :D I got all three - I don't know if there were more but I love that there were options! I did run into a bug at some point where I bashed the sink on the first door on the left in the hallway and I think it broke something - I could still smash stuff but couldn't pick it up. No biggie cuz the shopping cart let me leave and I got to be a 'good' person that time hahahaha. It worked fine all the other runs though, I'm not sure what I did differently. For what it's worth, I saw in a comment above there was an endless rotation bug - that didn't happen for me, it worked fine - I had it fullscreened on Firefox, for reference.
Jan 11 09:00:52 8m 54s The End Of The Art As We Know it ♥ 1 Very unique! And culturally relevant haha. A fun take on the AI debate :D Loved the art as well!!
Jan 11 09:10:19 9m 27s Catchy ♥ 1 What a lovely game :) It was very relaxing to fish once I figured out what to do. Lovely art style as well. Neat entry, fun and chill!
Jan 11 13:09:56 3h 59m Grim Harvester ♥ 2 Really beautiful art, great ambiance to the sound design - I had some real issues with slowdown though (especially before the first enemy appeared, it spottily returned to normal speed after that). I really liked the rolling to move mechanic to determine action points. Overall, very cool!
Jan 11 13:20:51 10m 55s Rough Harvest ♥ 1 Difficult but a *very* cool idea! I like that you essentially grow and harvest your own enemies, very unique, and nice art, too!
Jan 11 13:35:47 14m 56s Drake's Fortune ♥ 2 I liked the twist of being the dragon, that was fun. Hitting things with both weapons (especially the big one though) felt very satisfying as well. Aiming feels a bit off if I try to aim from too far away, but that's pretty easily remedied by not doing that haha. Nice entry!
Jan 11 13:50:42 14m 55s Leviticus ♥ 1 This was a neat idea for a game, buffing the land itself to keep enemies away. The hardest thing for me was deceptive colliders - getting stuck behind the shop when there should be nothing there, for example. I ran into some issues on certain runs with plants not growing at all, maybe it was something I was missing. Very difficult game in its current state, but there is definitely something cool there! I think I found all the controls but would love to know if there are more: WASD, click the shop to get more stuff like healing plants, etc., click the ground to plant a seed and click again to harvest.
Jan 11 14:07:07 16m 25s Lo-Fi Harvest & Chill ♥ 1 Very nice look, feel and sound to this game. An excellent entry that did a good job of mixing tractor collection with mouse collection. Quite soothing :)
Jan 11 14:14:38 7m 31s Getting Apples In It ♥ 1 I like the idea of using terrain to reposition your character when it gets too out of balance. Nice narration, and the graphics were lovely. Very hard game for me but also neat.
Jan 11 14:28:51 14m 13s Boat ♥ 1 Nice, chill game. I like the speed boosts, those felt lovely (felt great to catch the wind) - but I felt the overall speed of the normal boat could be just a little faster. Very neat entry, it looks like a lot of work went into this.
Jan 11 14:43:00 14m 09s Harvester with Iron Hat ♥ 1 It took me a moment to figure out how to play - but then I really liked the gameplay! I enjoyed manually choosing your tool and then hurling it wherever to make room for the next one haha. Really cool entry, and lovely graphics as well.
Jan 13 02:00:46 35h 17m Seven Favors ♥ 4 What a *fascinating* game - the ambiance, the dark humor, they STYLE. This game has it. I loved it :D
Jan 14 04:21:38 26h 20m Harvest Swarm ♥ 1 I love the look of the art as well as the music. Also, I know you said this was a compo game, I feel like even 5 minutes after it still counts in spirit! Great job, honestly, compo is intense, I really like where this game is going :)
Jan 14 04:34:47 13m 09s Soul Property: Who's Life is it Anyway? ♥ 2 There was a simple joy to this game, and a great sense of humor. I loved the arcade-like structure of it. I totally got to keep my mansion cuz I'm so cool hahaha - still had to work the graveyard shift though. Great entry :D
Jan 26 19:56:48 303h 22m Tomato Harvesting ♥ 1 Really impressive for 14 hours! It works well and the graphics and music are lovely.
