I like the concept of the game, I was not able to buy any uprgrades (maybe there are really expensive or not yet implemented?), I liked the moment when the big worm came and destroyed third of plants.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD52 → Harvester with Iron Hat

Took some time to figure it all out- was great fun! Only complaint is the store doesn't display prices, couldn't tell when I had enough for something/what level I was at! The attack is awesome though, very fun to use. Great game!
I tried to get into but the "cool down" time is too long. Also it took me more than 5 minutes to understand why my weapon was working randomly. I was so lost during this "tutorial". Sorry, I think the same game with a reactive scythe would be much more fun. The upgrade could affect the range for example.
It took me a moment to figure out how to play - but then I really liked the gameplay! I enjoyed manually choosing your tool and then hurling it wherever to make room for the next one haha. Really cool entry, and lovely graphics as well.
Nice game! Really like the spin and explosion effects and the character design. Nice take on the theme. I wish there was a way to see how much an upgrade costs and how upgraded something is. Apart from that, really solid entry, well done! :)
Nice game and potential but I guess it need to be polished more.
My main issue is a very long cooldown scythe time which could be ok if player had something to do while he wait for that cooldown.
And of course it will be better to have some visual indication on cooldown status.
Other than that it was fun but it can be much better. I hope you will polish it later because I definitely would like to see how this game evolve after jam
I love the design that the enemies tackle the growth of plant. Nice game! A sad story of the iron-hat's infinite vital work appeared in my head suddenly.
The long cooldown without a progress bar or countdown was kind of confusing. And the low attack frequency was really making learning how to attack harder than it should be.
Great game! I love the attack effect and the concept of the game. The only thing I might have a small comment on is the lack of some kind of effect that informs you of the cooldown status
nice game but too hard to upgrade
I played for about 15 minutes and got a bit bored. Typical grinding game. The upgrade levels were set a bit too high and some of the upgrades are much better then others, while the prices are the same, but it's just a minor balance issue. The whole game idea is interesting and the gameplay was rather fun and that's what counts!
Nice game :)
Just a feedback/ I have an issue with widescreen : 2023-01-17 16_28_24-.png Too bad the game starts while the explanation screen is still displayed.
A fun game in any case:)
Interesting concept, it was a bit difficult to get anywhere. Good job!
Nice game. The attack animation is satisfying. It is missing a few gui elements though. Aside from the prices you already mentioned, something to tell you which level you already purchased would have been useful. Also some visual timer on the attack cooldown would have been helpful since it is so long. While the start of the game is fun, but it does get a bit repetitive after a while. X seems an odd choice for attack going with WASD. X compliments the arrow keys, but something like space may have been a better option here.
Nice game!
Enjoyed the game a lot! I thought the graphics were really fun and liked the concept. I wish that there could be a cooldown bar for the attack. I really liked how long it was -- could be fun if it changed your movement so that you bounced around the arena as well. This was one of my favorite parts of the game. I also noticed an issue where sometimes the worms didn't destroy the oil trees/only some trees in their path were destroyed. Probably this is an issues with the growth of the trees and the worm's destruction intersecting somehow. I also wish it could be easier to tell when the trees are grown enough to be harvested! Because of the viewing angle it's a little difficult to tell. Thanks so much for uploading it! I really enjoyed playing it!
