| Apr 27 02:13:35 | Fuel Run | ♥ 1 | This has to be some of the most lovely art I've seen in a jam game. And the music - mmmmm that ambiance! I could listen to that all day. Also that fluid simulation was juicy as hell, very satisfying. Overall a really neat game :D | |
| Apr 27 18:40:36 | 16h 27m | Turtruckin' | ♥ 2 | What a cool take on the theme! A lot of work obviously went into this one, I really enjoyed it. I think I may have encountered a glitch when it got to two seasoned whole chickens - at first I did a skinny whole chicken and then a fat one, and they took the box but didn't give it back and it didn't clear the board. So then I did two skinny whole chickens (without restarting), and they took the box but nothing happened. I'm gonna chalk it up to swindling customers who want more chicken for free, ha. Great entry :D :D |
| Apr 27 19:01:35 | 20m 59s | Inner Pieces | ♥ 1 | First off, it's really impressive that you have so many types of controls in here - what a nice touch. Second, I love that your screenshots include the tutorial so I could sort of read ahead of time. Third, this is a reeeeeeealllly cool game. I somehow missed reading the last slide of instructions, but when I figured that part out I felt like a genius haha. Definitely one of the more unique games I've played, thanks for uploading it. |
| Apr 27 19:44:11 | 42m 36s | Blackout | ♥ 7 | Omg, the audio is SO good. The gameplay feels very snappy. I could eat that ambiance up. Really, really, really great entry. |
| Apr 27 19:58:27 | 14m 16s | Healer Simulator | ♥ 4 | Well, that was damn fun. Took me back to my healing days haha. Loved it, the art, ambiance and colors/gameplay were really well done. I'm not sure if it was a glitch, but at one point I clicked the mana bar and was able to drag the blue meter full/not full. It didn't seem to actually give me mana though (but I honestly am not sure). Experience bar does it too (but again, doesn't seem to affect anything and snaps back after a minute). Really awesome entry (and I second loving the party chat) :D |
| Apr 27 21:51:54 | 1h 53m | Gridroots | ♥ 1 | A cool puzzle game! It was pretty challenging (in a good way). The SFX made it feel like I was solidly placing roots, too, it felt well put together. Nice entry! |
| Apr 27 22:10:51 | 18m 57s | WHITE RABBIT | ♥ 1 | Really lovely graphics - the jump didn't always work for me but it may have just been the way I was playing. If I took my time and stopped moving it always worked for sure, just seemed to maybe be a slight lag issue with moving and jumping (could have just been my browser, though!). I second @batiali that for some reason I really liked the tiny character, it just felt good. |
| Apr 27 22:25:46 | 14m 55s | Deeper & Deeper Research Ltd. | ♥ 1 | What a cool twist on gameplay, I love what you did with that. It felt really good switching between 'bodies'. I guess the real question is... how do you know if you got the one with the soul 0_0 Just a note: I encountered a bug that once I opened a door, if I didn't get through it in time no amount of button jumping would make it open again. Otherwise it was really neat. |
| Apr 28 01:16:41 | 2h 50m | Deep Cover | ♥ 2 | Loved everything about this game. Man, it's hard to keep my lies straight lol. I beat it though, really charming writing, design, music, all of it! Top marks across the board, awesome submission, thanks for sharing! |
| Apr 28 01:39:48 | 23m 07s | Salvage Quest | ♥ 1 | Once I figured out the controls it was pretty fun to collect things in the sub! Good movement on the player controller, too, nice SUBmission ha. |
| Apr 28 02:08:04 | 28m 16s | The Way to Survive | ♥ 2 | A city builder is ambitious for LDJam! I encountered some sort of leak or slowdown on the Firefox browser that crashed the game (looks like you know about that, though). Good job overall, it was a cool idea, too. |
| Apr 28 04:03:24 | 1h 55m | Wrath of the Stone | ♥ 2 | This was a really cool idea! And fun, too. It was challenging but in a great way, I loved the little dwarf AI - there was something cozy af about this whole game. Really dug it :D |
| Apr 28 08:51:44 | 4h 48m | Get Down! | ♥ 5 | The mechanic of catching and throwing the records was a neat idea, and worked really well. Kinda just jumped right in and it felt intuitive, which I really appreciate. Groovy tunes as well and the floor felt like a party. Great submission! |
| Apr 28 09:13:04 | 21m 20s | Drill Through The Earth | ♥ 1 | I'm pretty sure I bribed my way into this lab with free pizza for the other legitimate employees cuz I definitely had to figure out what to do on the go, ha. Kept the base from exploding though, so that's something! SFX worked well on the computers and buttons here, I dug the drill graphic on the screen as well and the general ambiance. I had an issue with the character controller where it didn't allow 360 degree rotation, it seemed to clamp within a range of 220 or so. I actually dug being in a 3D room for this, I don't often play clicker games but that put a neat spin on it for me. |
| Apr 28 22:28:33 | 13h 15m | Dream: The Temple Within | ♥ 2 | This was fun! Great sound design, cool level layout too, nice job on progression, and the music was charming! I really enjoyed it, rockin' submission :) |
| Apr 28 22:51:43 | 23m 10s | Georgina and the End of the World | ♥ 3 | I really dug the storybook quality of this. I didn't know what to expect but enjoyed the introspective of a caterpillar's life. What a lovely idea. :) |
| Apr 28 23:32:02 | 40m 19s | H.M.S. Rustbucket | ♥ 4 | What a neat idea!! I was controlling both players but it still worked really well. Actually I kinda dug it like that haha. Fun sense of humor here, cool submission :) |
| Apr 28 23:51:55 | 19m 53s | Cosmonoid | ♥ 1 | This was really cool!! It was refreshing to see a space game actually play with 3D space like this! And thank you so, so much for enabling the invert mouse control command, the first time I tried it was pretty rough (my brain doesn't work like that, heh) until I saw that you put that in there - thank you, swapping that control made all the difference and it was really fun! Great entry :) |
| Apr 29 00:06:06 | 14m 11s | Swab the Deck! | ♥ 3 | This was so cool!!! I got excited by a pirate/ship on the sea theme, a lot of work obviously went into this. Really neat idea, the balance of energy vs cards was cool and I loved that everything was understandable enough to be fast paced (something I'm not used to in deck builders, but really dig). Great entry :) |
| Apr 29 00:28:53 | 22m 47s | Deeper In The Woods | ♥ 0 | A lot of work seems to have gone into this, I like where it was going. The JRPG fighting element was a pleasant surprise - I wondered what would happen when I got to the spiked turtles. Wasn't sure what I was supposed to do after that, I didn't seem to be able to deliver my supplies and my battery was empty. Still!! A cool idea. |
| May 1 09:16:37 | 56h 47m | Deep Dig Pizza | ♥ 2 | Well this game was adorable and fun to play! I loved the music and the transitions as the little ship went deeper underground. The color palette is well selected and the design of everything vibes really nicely together. The blade coming out of the ship when drilling was also a really nice bit of polish. Great submission! |
| May 1 09:36:46 | 20m 09s | DEEper | ♥ 2 | Really great art here, and music! Ate lotsa snex and am very pleased lol. Nicely done with the procedural generation, I never felt like there wasn't somewhere to go and that's impressive (as was the amount of props in the scene). Really cool entry :D |
| May 3 23:38:28 | 62h 01m | LuK-2000 and the Fragments of the Past | ♥ 3 | It was impressive the amount of controls that were available in this! Setting and climbing the ropes was especially well done (and animated, to boot!). The sound effects were a bit harsh to my ears, but I'm sensitive to sounds so it may just be me :). Great entry! |
| May 5 04:06:23 | 28h 27m | Descend | ♥ 1 | Really lovely visuals, chill music, honestly a neat experience. I had a few bugs with dialogue where it reversed or skipped my question, but it almost added to the experience of exploring the afterlife. A cool little game. :) |
| May 5 10:18:31 | 6h 12m | Nuclear blaze | ♥ 1 | Ha! I played and commented on this on Itchio before realizing it was a game for this jam! Awesome entry, I loved the controls and it was really refreshing to be putting out fires in a game. Really dug this, awesome entry. |
| May 5 10:55:55 | 37m 24s | Hometown Helper | ♥ 1 | This game was hilarious. I had a quest to run somewhere and took a bucket to be a contrarian jerk like "har har bucket, laughing inside." I wasn't expecting it to be like "Wow, you're really fast! What's with the bucket?" That actually made me laugh out loud. You accounted for so many variables in this, somehow I caught butterflies with a hoe and impressed the Day King with my magnificent hammer. Honestly I loved it, a lot of love went into the wording and setup here, awesome entry. |
| May 8 06:58:40 | 68h 02m | Poopy's Journey to the Center of the Earth | ♥ 0 | Well made, did not expect this when I clicked on the game, great job lol. |
| May 17 04:13:30 | 213h 14m | Fleeting | ♥ 2 | This was a cool as hell game! I *loved* the ambiance, theme and atmosphere. Through the music I could almost feel what the protagonist was going through. I beat it on my second try, once I'd gotten the hang of it it was super fun and intense. Would absolutely play a commercial version as well, really loved the whole concept, awesome entry. Edit: Just wanted to add that enemies being able to shoot each other was brilliant as well :D |
