The pastries were confusing at first but then I realised I had to pre-prepare them which I thought was actually a really cool idea (though I did end up getting overloaded with croissant orders at the end that I couldnt cook in time). The aesthetic was awesome and it was fun to see the faces on the cats at the got more impatient. There was a minor bug where I would put ingredients in a certain order and they wouldn't appear until I added the rest. It was a bit confusing but it didnt make the game any less fun. Great job, really enjoyed this game |

Lots of great polish in this game like the alien names, their designs and matching squares on the tablet and all the fun conversations. It took me one try to figure out how to really play because I wasnt exactly sure if what I was doing was working. But once I finished the first try the other attempts went great. I really went down a hit in speed dating! |

As someone has never studied biology, I had no clue what was going on or how genes work and what the punnett square is. So I ended up googling stuff for a while and trying to figure out how this all works. I think the idea was great but I would have liked a bit more explanation so I could play the game better and maybe learn how this all works as a I play because it is interesting. The 10 second timer just it a little too hard |

The train in the background at the start foreshadowing the later parts of the game. I also love the little spin that the crosshair does when you point at something you can pick up. Very nice use of the theme and very cool level design. I did run into quite a few bugs like the buttons not resetting when I die making levels then super easy or else impossible, I clipped through platforms a lot too like the spikes that move and the spinning platform in the last level. The best part was definitely the chicken singing along with the music. Great work! |

I've never seen something like it in a pixel art game. That was super impressive to pull off with pico 8. I did find the controls a bit hard to use. When I tried to do small movements I would hardly move at all but when I was trying to stop while running the player would slide a lot. It made it sort of tricky to do what I wanted (though maybe that was intentional). All together this was a really cool game with a unique style. Nice job! |
