Liked this idea! Was a bit confused though why I started to split into two and wasn't sure how to navigate it
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD51 → Cold Coffee in 10…

Great work mate. I enjoyed the experience. Navigating trough the bombs that I lay is a unique twist with the ghost. However, sometimes coffee directly spawn on bomb tile where my ghost is. or tiles that surrounded with bombs. I don't know is that a issue but its there (or maybe I am a bad gamer that suck at puzzles - yeah probably that). Great product with lovely aesthetics. Love Pico-8
this is really good!! it's so cute when you split into two — took a while to understand, but really challenging and fun. the graphics are so cute and i would've thought that this was made in a lot longer than just 48 hours :) so cute. so cute. good job!
@deniz-aras Thank you! Every time you pick up coffee you spawn a bomb. If the clone picks it up, it is spawned under it instead :)
Nice mechanic, enjoyed working my way through this one. Felt you could kind of brute force your way through in the end. Charming graphics and audio.
@liam Thank you! I think that is a fair tactic, after 20 coffee, it becomes more like a "bullet hell", in that you need to choose to get hit smart, rather to avoid it entirely.
Very well done, I managed to win and become coffee. The land mines, mirrored buddy character, and cannons make up fun obstacles to traverse. The difficulty building feels natural and hectic towards the end. Excellent sound and animation, very expressive walk animation. I'll admit I am not above drinking cold coffee or even microwaving coffee, so my real life coffee drinking habit is not so precarious. Job well done!
@jonah-srg Thanks for the feedback! :) I too have microwaving coffee (If I am desperate), lucky my world does not come to a end if I do!
Hell yea! **P** **I** **C** **O** **-** **8** gang! Greetings from Jönköping.
Very well packaged. I'm enjoying these fun small bite-sized games. :v:
PS, nice twitter, feel like I will have a lot to play the upcoming days. :)
I love the animation and sprites! Coffee + Pico-8 = Win!
very silly, but a lot of fun! I guess I am now coffee
Awesome game as usual. You are always a master at making pico 8 games!
Expected something really simple when I started playing, but was quickly impressed with how new ideas and complications kept on being added. Audio was a little sparse, I wish there was a tune playing to round everything out. I love how the little characters jump-walk!
well done!
I love how you make the game unfold overtime and slowly reveal new mechanics! A really clever way to use a short amount of time to onboard the player. The little revelations made this such a treat and forced me to change my methods as I played. I really really like this
All these amazing pico-8 games make me wanna try making something on it myself, great game!
It's a really cool, but devious concept  I'd like to see it fleshed out a bit more. The fact that you receive a clone which can step into traps and it affects you is a great idea, but I feel like it needs to not be as random or have walls that you can sort of block him against. As it is now, there is a point in the game where you will run into traps even if you try not to and there's nothing you can do, which is frustrating.
I did win though, so it's not too hard  All in all a good effort and fun execution!
i like this game, nice art, but a bit hard when you have 2 characters
Amazingly polished for a compo entry. It’s very simple but addictive and feels complete in every way. Definitely my favorite compo entry so far!
@pianoman373 Thank you, that comment made the whole jam worth it! 💛
@sneakylemon good point with the stones, if I would do a small update I should place some stones out to be able to control a bit where the clone is going. I designed it in a way that is ok to take damage though, so some small cheese is encouraged!
@deprecat Thank you, I tried to build it up bit by bit to not overwhelm the player, so glad it got through in the game!
@rawb thank you, glad you like my games!
What's the lore of the little guys turning into a coffee? Who are they? Does that work in real life as well?
Fun game, liked the art, and the second character is quite the mind bender. Im not quite certain if there is always a path without ever colliding with the stones but sometimes you just gotta take the hits. Regardless really cool game!
This is a fun little game. Great idea for the theme!
Nice short game! I literally had to bump into problems to get all coffee but finally managed to drink all of them.
Not easy when the board fills up quickly and you have to navigate yourself and the mirror dude. I guess shortest path with the least bombs is the way to go? Great work.
Short game :) managed to beat it on first try. Took me a while to realise that the other guy is my mirror and not enemy lol ...
Thanks for the game !
This is very good and addictive, I love how the second character is a burden at first and then an alternative way to get coffee faster once you get used to it ! Clever gameplay and good use for the theme !
Fun game! I really liked how the game transforms with the more coffee you get, once the mirror dude shows up it kind of becomes 'think of every step' dungeon crawler movement, also the effects are really cool the game just feels good to play. Solid entry well done!
@benjamin Thank you! That was I was going for, you first think he is just an obstacle, but really he is there to help you!
First Pico-8 game, and it's pretty good ! The two players thing was really confusing, but it's not really something to worry about, since the 10 seconds feels slower in the game.
I really like the art and gameplay! Good job!
